My first time visiting and I was pleased! It's a pretty small place with a few bits of quirky decor and a good amount of tables and seating. Might be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues, though. It seems to be a popular spot with both young and old patrons. There's an area at the back with what looked like art supplies and things to keep folks entertained. Parking is semi-tight right outside but it's doable even with a midsize SUV. I got there around noon on a Wednesday and it was a little busy but I was the only one in line for about 5 minutes before I ordered and while I ordered. It took a little longer than I expected to get the wrap I ordered, but I didn't mind. The Smokin' Veggie wrap was VERY good, especially when I added some hot sauce (they have several options by the water station at the back)! And it was a great portion, too! I only ate half there and ate the other half later for a late lunch part 2. I had hoped to get a pastry, but I was a bit disappointed with the pastry selection -- it seemed to mostly be muffins and croissants from Costco and Safeway or something. 2 stars because the sandwiches are good when they get the order correct. But I have gone here enough to know that, if doing takeout, you MUST stop and check your food (fully unwrap it) as there have many times that the order was incorrect. Sucks to get all the way home without the thing you paid for. I had the most frustrating experience dining in here that I've ever had anywhere. I ordered a sandwich. Someone in my party arrived 15 minutes after me and ordered. They received their food. I checked at the counter. "And what's the name? Yes, we're working on it." Taking a long time but fine. 20 minutes later, same thing. "Yes, still working on it." 15 minutes later, I'm visibly frustrated. "Name?" Confused look. "We don't have anything under that name." And they acted as if I hadn't come to the counter checking multiple times by now. I was pretty upset and they seemed like, "Geez, what's his problem?" Also, their tipping culture is out of control. They routinely request tips before providing service. Based on the above experiences, one might see why that's a bad idea. And there was a time that their suggested options were 20%, 30%, and 40%. A friend recommended this little cafe and it did not disappoint! I couldn't decide if I liked the pastrami or the lunch bagel better. They were just so delicious. I wanted to share my experience at your location, where I often stop by since I work nearby. While the pricing is a bit on the higher side, the outstanding customer service keeps me coming back. I am especially grateful for Crystal, the barista who took the time to remake my drink after I ordered incorrectly. When I arrived and explained to the cashier that I had accidentally ordered an iced drink but needed a hot one due to a sore throat, she mentioned that she could steam the already made iced drink (but steaming the iced drink would leave it watery and unappealing). Thankfully, Crystal stepped in and offered to remake my drink completely. When I finally tasted it, it was absolutely delicious. In a world where great customer service can sometimes feel scarce, Crystal truly made me feel valued and cared for. This used to be an excellent spot for breakfast and lunch. I have tried to continue loving it after change of ownership, but then the original staff was removed as well. Happened upon this adorable cafe. We ordered the cinna bowl coffee & the special peppermint tea. Also had a chocolate peppermint cake from baked goods. Drinks and baked items wer tasty and pleasant. The service was great. There were quite a variety of customers eating and talking. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We will definitely come back again when in town. Went in here about a week ago for the first time, the girl taking my order was super nice! I didn't know what to get so I told her to just make me whatever was her favorite drink (I wish I remembered what it was because it was DELICIOUS). I'll give two stars for good wifi. Please be aware that all their bagels have egg on them. The only place it says there's egg is a tiny lil space on the bottom corner of the menu that says "eggs are scrambled" we spent almost $40 on two bagel sandwich and two iced drinks. They did not label the drinks, even though we had two different types of milk. We couldn't tell whose had oat milk. Then when I brought it up to the cashier, and willing to pay for another sandwich, the total came out to over $16... for a turkey bagel sandwich with bacon.... So I told her to forget it and now I'm just going to buy breakfast all over again, another $30-40 down the drain. On top of that there are so many espresso grinds on the bottom of our drinks. Being a broke college student is already hard enough and even harder when money is wasted. Which is ironic because I heard one of the baristas say "in this economy" when I walked out the door. Called in to make a to go order for our breakfast. Asked about pricing on breakfast bagels if I added onion to them if I remember correctly. Girl who answered, "I don't know." I reworded the question incase she was confused. Girl, "Yeah......... I'm not at the reg." (She actually said reg not register) I thanked her and hung up. Called back ~10 mins later hoping for a different person to answer. Girl, "Sup brah?" I said nevermind, as I was thrown off by how rude and unhelpful she was making an effort to be. It may have been too much effort for the stoner, wanna be hippie girl to help me. But it's not too much effort for me to write this review. You earned it. To the owner: WTF are you thinking hiring people like this? We moved into town not long ago and needed a go to for breakfast, our first experience we went in person and I believe the female owner helped us out. I have to say after trying Bellachinos they have the second best breakfast sandwich out of probably a hundred places I've tried. it is absolutely amazing. bacon was perfect, crispy and the right amount of crumbly. lots of cheddar cheese melted just right, and the egg was fluffy with the correct amount of salt and pepper. whoever was back in the kitchen this morning is amazing and I hope they are there everytime I come here.
