I didn't even realize that I had sped through my first cup of coffee before I was onto the next. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in sharing their favorites as I decided on my next orders across my 5 hour visit. Each order was better than the last. My sister ordered the same drink and experienced the same issue, although hers seemed to have even less Matcha than mine. While I'm not sure I'd get the Matcha again, I'm still open to trying some other menu items. I contemplated grabbing an energy drink or coffee, but when I realized that I was just steps away from Kwench. Figuring that a fresh juice or smoothie would be a much better, (and healthier!) choice. Kwench is located in a small plaza that also includes a Goodwill, Kroger and a few other shops. The parking lot isn't huge, but there's always a free spot to grab. Kwench stands out with their green interior walls and colorful signs adorned with pictures of fresh fruits, it's difficult to walk past. When I walked in, the store was empty besides a guy behind the counter that I believe to be the owner. There were a number of tables and chairs, signs that explain the healthy elements to the produce available for guest orders and healthy videos playing on the mounted tv. Very chill, very colorful! The gentleman behind the counter was kind and attentive, and in such a great mood, it lifted my own spirits! The menu is filled with raw smoothie, juices and even acai bowls. I opted for the 'old fashioned' smoothie and, WHEW. It was soooo good, so refreshing! My smoothie was prepared right in front of me and ready in minutes, it was such a delicious, healthy start to my day. I can't wait to go back!
