I visit CTC for pastries and a Latte. The establishment has so much more. You can purchase coffee beans, soap, and mugs from local vendors. The ambiance is absolutely inviting and so very cozy. Sit down and take it easy. The service is spot on! They are so incredibly friendly every time I visit this delightful establishment. I love them! Everyone! Don't hesitate to visit this wonderful coffee shop! I love this place and I promise so will you!!!

Sure it's a little cluttered with all the menus and signs inside, but that's just because there's so many different options to choose from! We went specifically for specialty espresso drinks. I do not think I've been to a coffee shop with such a wide variety! They truly have any kind of coffee syrup or sauce you can desire. If it's not on the menu, I'm sure you can ask if it's possible to make. I recently went to a different small coffee shop in the area and paid almost $7 for a large "mocha latte" because a regular mocha was not on the menu. At Coffee Ta Cream, I was having a hard time deciding between which type of mocha I wanted because there were so many varieties! But the biggest draw for this place is the great prices. Everyone else is raising their prices at the moment, so it was nice to feel like I'm not limited to getting a small, or avoiding getting extra sauces etc. I feel like I can come here quite often rather than treating myself on rare occasions. We will definitely be back very soon.

Great little cafe with ice cream. The place is cute & the staff are very friendly and patient. The BEST part, they have Superman Ice Cream!! They are only 1 of 3 places in the Twins Cities area that carry this ice cream flavor that is indescribably delicious! An ice cream that I fell in love with when I use to live in Michigan.

Nice little ice crean shop with many flavors of Ice Cream, as well as lots of coffee options with a small selection of healthy food options to include vegetarian items. The service was excellent and quick. I had the veggie hamburger which I really enjoyed would definitely visit again.

When I walked in I was confused about what I can order at first. There is a few things on a paper menu, then there is another menu on wall for coffee, then another for ice cream and another menu with pizza and burgers. I don't know what to think of this place. This business does lack focus for example I can also buy potato bags, water bottles, candles, cheap jewelry post cards! Anyway I didn't find the food to be that great it wasn't horrible or anything but I'm not sure why I would ever want to stop here to eat and stare at the odd assortment I can purchase.

We love this locally owned ice cream shop! Wonderful service, yummy ice cream, great coffee, and super sandwiches.

The flavors of popsicles there are endless, they all look so tasty and colorful, and there's fresh fruit inside the popsicles. The mangonada was my favorite. The chamoy with fresh mango and tajin on top really hot the spot. It was like a sweet and slightly salty smoothie with little goodies inside. I love the cases they have set up and the open kitchen so you can see what they're doing while handcrafting your snacks, and everything is so fresh and fun to look at! Can't wait to try more from their menu. Looks like a family run business, fluent in Spanish and English. Bright, beautiful colors inside, foosball table to play while waiting for your treats! They had some nice lunch specials but none of them caught my eye so I had the chicken taco pizza. It tasted fresh and that's exactly what I needed. It was served with sour cream and salsa and topped with lettuce, tomato and olives. The other 2 in my group got the lunch walleye sandwich with chips and the avocado chicken sandwich (she normally always gets a burger). They both said it was ok. I was the happiest with mine. We also shared onion rings and they were decent.

The sauce was rich and flavorful, the chicken cutlet crunchy on the outside, moist and yummy on the inside. There was lots of gooey, melted parmesan cheese. So good. The garlic "toast" was disappointing. It was spongy, soft, and had zero flavor. I couldn't even save it by scooping up sauce because the spongy texture was off-putting. This entree comes with a side garden salad and I ordered the blue cheese dressing. The dressing tasted like mayo with no hint of blue cheese. On my third bite, I uncovered a dead, slimy, rotten piece of arugula and that did it for the salad. Ugh. I definitely recommend the Chicken Parm. Maybe after this they'll tighten up their salad greens and wrap the toast separately from the entree.

My order was not that tough, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with 2 patties plain, a large fry and a medium chocolate malt. What they tried to give me was my burger without bacon, a chocolate covered ice cream cone and my large fry. Then when I told the girl at the window that I didn't order a cone, I ordered a medium chocolate malt, she tried to give me an ice cream cone without chocolate on it. Apparently they do not listen at all to what you are saying and I am done giving them any money for their horrible service. The last time I was there and they got my order wrong the people inside acted like they didn't care and did nothing wrong. I even had to tell the manager numerous times what I ordered and what they got wrong only to have them still mess it up. Now, I speak english very well, been here in the US for 57 yrs, and am very clear in what I say but wow. This company needs to give their employees hearing and focus tests. A drive through order does not take that long to get and shouldn't have 2/3'rds of the meal wrong.

I had an awesome breakfast burrito and their awesome Tirimasu Latte (iced), and they have other offerings that will lure me from St Paul for future visits. Specifically, now that I am mourning the loss of Sun Street Breads and its Thursday Night Pizza Night, I'll have to try Smith's version of that. But I'll probably come back for brunch on a weekend pretty soon and get more coffee, as well as something from their bakery. But also, yes, brunch; the eggs in my burrito were really perfect. I was there at around noon on a Sunday; peak busy times so parking was a little hairy but I eventually found a spot. I absolutely recommend coming with a bunch of pals and hanging out for a good long time, but maybe don't all drive separately if it's noon-ish on a weekend. They have a lovely patio area which was well-populated, even on this extra-sunny mid-February day. If you like adorable cafes, you will definitely love this place.

I immediately started looking at coffee shops that I could relocate to in order to work. I had been wanting to go try Smiths for a while but the opportunity just never presented itself despite being just down the road. I arrived and the driveway leading to the parking lot was lined with cars, but I was able to find a spot in the parking lot after a minute or so. It was definitely a full lot for sure. The location is absolutely adorable as this is a historic house. It was once a Dunn Brothers, but I do love that it is its own thing now rather than a chain. They had a outdoor patio that people were enjoying but it was a bit chilly for working and sitting outside, one person even had a dog which I LOVE! Inside the front door you are greeted with a welcoming counter that you can order. I opted to try the salted caramel iced latte. If you are consuming there (which I was) they give you a number to bring to your table and they bring the drink. I really liked this idea especially in the aspect of not having to stand and wait for a drink. The price was a bit high (7.55 for a 16 oz with $1 tip), but then again everything is getting expensive these days. I walked back to the seating area and there are essentially 3 rooms downstairs, I walked through all 3 to see where working would be ideal. I went upstairs but there was a woman in the room so I assumed it was a group that was meeting or something so I opted to not investigate further. I found seating downstairs in what felt like the quietest part, but there were a lot of people there talking and the acoustics were not exactly fantastic. I did have a call which I took via teams and air pods and discovered the sound in the room was actually really not awesome for a meeting as it was quite loud and the wifi was not strong enough to support the video on the teams call. So would I recommend working from Smith, not if you have a meeting, but if you are looking for a place that has some background noise, I guess... However this is certainly a place that is perfect for meeting someone and enjoying breakfast or coffee and I love that. I did not order food this time, but everything I saw get delivered looked delicious. I also noticed they have a pizza night on Thursday nights and immediately made a note of that for a date night with the hubby.
