I wanted to update for their Winter Flight I recently tried! I would give it 2.5/5 stars, only because I really only enjoyed 2 of the coffees. The candied almond and nutty white mocha both had an odd taste to them, and really wasnt for me- but I bet if youre a big almond/nutty flavored person- youre going to love it! The cherry chocolate didnt have much of a flavor, atleast the cherry. But the Snowflake really took it home and was amazing. The portions are great if youre looking to try something new! Cute little brewery and coffee house in a lovely downtown setting. We came here to get a stamp for my pub pass. It was an added bonus that my wife could get coffee at the same time. Bartenders were very useful in helping us choose our drinks. I had the hazy and gave it a 3.5 outta 5, not my favorite but flavorful. Plenty of seating at parking was easy and close. read more

Stopped in for coffee on a Saturday AM to sit and read with our pup. We had the pistachio latte and salted caramel latte which were both great. Loved the drink ware. The coffee flights looked delicious too and would love to try those next time. It was decently busy for the morning with patrons drinking a mix of beer and coffee. Our coffees took a little while, but given they were making flights which looked complex it was understandable. I adventured out to Shakopee on a Sunday & decided to stop here to try their winter coffee flight. It was a bit busy with mostly groups of people but had ample seating. I seen on Ig that later in the day they were having live music and crafts (you bring your own crafts to work on) which is super cool. It's a coffee shop and brewery so you can get beer as well. The flight was really good. On a the sweeter side if you like sweet coffee drinks, like me. The chocolate covered strawberry and thin mint crunch were my favs. I believe you can order food via a QR code at the tables. I meant to pull up the menu while I was there but forgot as I was taking in the moment. The staff were nice, didn't have too much interaction with them besides putting in my order. It's a lot of businesses and a few restaurants/bars on both sides of the street so parking in front on the main street can be busy but they do have additional parking areas which are easy to get to/from. read more

Cutest brewhall I've been to in Shakopee. Beautiful wood interiors, spacious and lots of room for groups, bar seating, easy to read menus, and baristas that are so friendly! I'm not well versed in coffee so I asked for a recommendation and they suggested a vanilla latte to just get the taste of their coffee and it was a fantastic suggestion. Great flavor, not too sugary, good coffee taste coming through, and it's a decent size for the price. Always a fan of supporting local! And they have a 'pay it forward' tab for anyone who fits those demographics (single parents, teachers, rescue workers, LGBTQ+, etc.). Very cool idea for anyone in need of a little pick-me-up. Will absolutely be back for another coffee and maybe a night time stop to try some of their adult beverages. I also believe I saw a stack of games in the corner so this would be a great spot for a little game night or afternoon of cards and a drink. What an a fun place to visit! This was a stop in our PubPass Passport and somewhere we had been wanting to try forever and it did not disappoint! It's a smaller space but it feels cozy and welcoming. We liked that they offered not only alcoholic offerings but also nonalcoholic offerings. The coffee flight was so so amazing. We will be back for sure! The beer was good as well. What we loved though, is the Pay it Forward wall! Guests can buy a drink for a number of things (think veteran, nurse, teacher, etc.) and anyone who is on that category can claim it! Been a few times for beer but this time I came for coffee and to do some work. It was a really chill place to come work and I love that they've got bottomless drip coffee; just need to pop back up to the bar to grab a refill. Everyone I've talked to there has been super helpful and friendly. Always willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. They've got some pastries from Brittner's next door, standard bar snacks, and N/A options. Only open until 12 on Mondays but you can always roll straight from coffee to beer depending on how your day's going! They hold a lot of events and fundraisers for local groups, which is awesome to see. Their beer is good and it's a great change of pace from the trendy, industrial-chic spots I normally get to. Will probably add this coffee shop to my regular remote work rotation. read more

Had the best coffee date this morning in downtown Shakopee at @shakopeebrewhall I have been here previously to grab a beer with friends and have enjoyed the outside street patio and also the cool screened in secret patio out back... But this was my first time taking advantage of their morning coffee menu and we loved it! They have a seasonal coffee flight option and then various hot and iced options! I am an iced coffee only person and I ordered the Salty Lumberjack which comes with a sprinkle of black sea salt on top! Soooo good! I also ordered the Mulled Hot Cider We also stopped by Brittner's Bakery (a few stores down) before hand to grab some donuts and then headed over to the brewery. The brewery welcomes outside food and there are plenty of options around you can get for take out! There are various of fun games to chose from and it's family friendly if you have little ones! The bartender was friendly and gave my husband a sample of the jalapeño beer which if you want something spicy it would be a good choice. We went with a few other options. There was a sip and paint event going on. Multiple people were enjoying the patio area with their dogs. Met up with a friend this morning to try out their coffee offerings. Of course I had to try their winter cold brew flight! Fun variety of flavors and reasonably priced. My favorite was the ruby heart but they were all pretty great. This Brewhall is so cute and cozy inside, the bartender was super nice too! It has been a bit since I last went to Shakopee Brewhall - which is surprising since they are less than 10 minutes away from my house. The space is on the smaller size, but love how they have set it up to use up every last inch. I also love how every time I am in there I see at least one dog that I can pet. I came for a happy hour and was able to have a couple beers! Freudian Sip: A Vienna Lager that was just how it should be. It had a pleasant toasted bread crust malt flavor, mild bitterness, and a dry crisp finish. This beer was their first try at a Vienna Lager and you can count me as impressed. 19th Amendment: An Altbier brewed in collaboration with the women of the brewery for Women's History Month. Baked bread malt that fills you up. The fermentation profile is controlled with just a bit of apple fruitiness. Had to kill time while waiting for a nearby restaurant so stopped in for a brew! What's not to love?!? The interior is cool...exposed brick, cozy, modern. Kinda an interesting shape, being long and narrow, but we didn't have an issue finding a seat! Service was incredibly friendly! The beers were delish! Their 'root' beer was surprisingly good! Cold brew flights were nice with a note on which one is which (few places we've gotten coffee flights from have done that). I will say I got like 2 of the wild strawberry seltzers. So delicious and the vibe in there was good. People having a good time. Nothing rowdy, just happy people doing happy people things and hanging with other happy people. We also got pizza from turtles and that was delivered to the Brewhall within 30 min if I remember correctly. Also! Dogs are allowed inside!! Yesterday was my second time ever in to the brew hall, much like the first....delicious beer and friendly staff!! Looking at the tap list I was sure I knew which beers I would order, then I asked the beertender what I always do "for what's on tap what's your go-to?" Hearing John's recommendation and noticing the wall behind him stating The Herk was about to kick, I changed up my choices. 4.5 but putting 5 as there is no half option lol Our furtherest pub pass brewery (over an hour away) I loved the interior and it seems to be original. We got the Mandala and the Recently added cranberry and hibiscus. Both are sours which we prefer over hoppy drinks. Both were good! I loved that is is dog friendly. I also love that they continue to have a sign of not fully Vax to wear a mask (which we know most say they are but I appreciate the sign) I didn't think the bartenders were too friendly. Especially the older woman seemed kinda rude. Overall I loved the interior. Wish we would have checked out the patio but we had glass drinks which isn't allowed outside. One of two really good beer destinations in Shakopee. The other being Badger Hill. Shakopee Brewhall is one street removed from highway 101 so it's not visible as you drive into town. But just divert one block and you'll find a whole Main Street of shops. Parking is not the best but we were able to find a spot on the main drag. The interior is very well done with lots of brick. Also, plenty of high tops. We tried the sampler to start out. Good selection of IPAs and a lager too. To be honest, I like the Badger Hill beers better, but these are good too. Plus it's a great space and service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a trip back. read more

We Found this place after coming down for a burger at Lions Tap. It's dog and family friendly. It seemed like they had some regulars, but it was still very welcoming. Love this place. Everyone is so nice and inviting, even when they are busy, which is refreshing. Parking is a bit sucky some nights, which isn't there fault it's the cities. But you can park behind the building in a back lot and walk thru Turtles to the front if the back door is locked. They have a great outdoor patio in the spring thru fall time frame. This is a great little spot in Shakopee. The place has a nice ambiance with wood floors, exposed brick and stained glass windows over the door. Seating is either at the bar rail or at high-tops for 5-8. On a busy night, plan to share a table if it's just 2 of you, which i think is kinda cool. The beers they had on tap the night we were there were mostly ales - an Irish red, an amber red, a Scotch ale (really good), and a brown ale. They also have an IPA, a porter and some others. I just really liked the variety. We were just going to have one, but stayed for a second to be able to try something else. I'm sure we'll be back! read more

My wife and I were in Shakopee and noticed they had a new brewery, Score! We entered and it was pretty busy just 20 minutes after entering, they had a bunch of yoga people in there drinking, so I am guessing they had some kind of yoga/beer thing going on. I ordered the Imperial IPA and it was FANTASTIC! Super hoppy and tons of flavors and esters blowing through. I ordered their regular IPA for my second beer, also very tasty! My favorite was that they had Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, so my wife asked me questions from the game for about a half hour and I was rockin' it. The owner gave us a few stickers and stopped by to talk for a few minutes. Fun place! read more

A stop #61 on the quest of visiting every single Minnesota brewery (follow along on IG @bettyeaststhecity), was a tiny and adorable Shakopee Brewhall tucked in the middle of Shakopee downtown. Even visiting on a Sunday afternoon, we didn't have much trouble parking in one of the free spots alongside the building but I could see them filling up fairly quickly so just keep that in mind - you might have to search a bit during their busy times. The interior is very simple and basic, pretty standard for a brewery. Lots of wooden tables ranging from small couple ones to large community ones. The exposed brick walls at the entrance to the brewery are a nice touch and give the space a lot more style. For such a tiny spot it feels pretty spacious with a decent amount of seating at the bar as well. You can find a shelf full of board games which I always look for and appreciate. We definitely lost track of time playing a few games of battleship. Drinks were solid, beer wise. Decent selection of specialty brews as well as the classics for the unadventurous ones out there. I was very pleased to see a Radler on the menu; not something you can easily find at a brewery and especially a smaller one. Their version was made by mixing a lager and a kombucha - I really loved it. Super light, slightly sweet, and really refreshing. Other beers like the Cinco de Shako (lager infused with lime) and Fine, Whatever (New England style IPA) were very well done, not disappointing at all. The one beer we were not feeling was the Mr. Rauch Stuff (rauchbier) - the aftertaste was not great and the smokiness of it was just a little too harsh. Luckily, we were able to sample as many beers as we wanted thanks to our friendly and helpful lady beertender. Upon learning it was our first time visiting, she provided more insight into the beers and as we were leaving she invited us back for another visit. A bit of a downside is that there is no food available, not even food trucks. But, there are two bars right next door that you could potentially order food from. If we're in the area I could definitely see us stopping by again for a quick little drink (that radler though!) and maybe a board game or two. read more
