    Macroons and an Americano
    Aurah Gqunefere W.

Delicious coffee, amazing selection of locally sourced goods, and delightful coconut macaroons. The monkey bread latte seems to be a very popular drink here, and I'll have to return another time to give it a go! Was wanting something less sweet today, so went with an americano - DELICIOUS! I've had a number of burnt-ish coffees recently, by my own hand at home, and this was exactly what I needed, and the barista was very helpful in answering questions about the menu. I'm gf, and never expect bakeries to have things I can eat, but I always still ask. Was delightfully surprised and greatly enjoyed both of my macaroons! They have a crispy exterior while still being soft and chewy on the inside, and without the dryness you sometimes get from this type of baked goodie. My only complaint is that I wish it was a smidge warmer today so that I could enjoy their adorable front patio longer!

Met a friend here to connect and catch up and it was perfect for that. On a beautiful afternoon, we were able to grab a table outside on the patio. I had a hot latte and was deciding on a 'sweet or savory' scone. I went with the sweet which was chai vanilla. I asked if it could be warmed up and the answer was 'of course'. It was quite delicious. Staff was great. One person taking orders, making coffees, and warming up scone and she did a great job multitasking. Nice stop.

Amazing bakery, honestly might be my new favorite in MN!! We trekked here in the snowy weather, and it was well worth it. We tried the morning bun, almond croissant, apple hand pie, French toast, and pumpkin scone. Only downside was that there isn't much seating indoors. Service was also fantastic!

I was originally headed to Café Ceres, only to discover it had permanently closed. On the drive over, I passed this spot and decided to double back for breakfast--and I'm glad I did. It was a windy day, and we didn't realize outdoor seating was the only option, but we made the most of it (a few napkins didn't survive the breeze--oops!). I ordered an iced London Fog and the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. The biscuit was especially good--flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. I took a monkey bread to go. It was a bit dry and denser than I am used to. I would try a different pastry next time. Inside, there's a small gift shop you can browse while waiting in line, which adds a nice touch, though it's quite tight and can feel a little claustrophobic, especially during peak hours. There are two restrooms available, but only one was in service during our visit. After placing my order, I noticed they also sell goodies like homemade coffee creamers and syrups in a cooler near the counter. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality and taste, I'd say it was worth it.

We were in the area and wanted to stop for coffee and pastries for breakfast. The prices were up there for dry pastries that have been sitting out all morning and coffee that was very bland and even a bit bitter. The staff were nice and the wall of goodies was cool to look through, unfortunately I would not come back here.

We arrive at about 9am to a line out the door. For good reason! Everything ended up being delicious. The line moved fast. The little store items were cute and they had some great cheese for sale too. The coffee drinks were unique (cardamom latte) and well done with flavorful espresso. The bakery items were top notch! We got a croissant, banana bread, money bread, hand pie and French toast bread pudding. I couldn't pick a favorite. The croissant was perfectly buttery, flaky with a bit of tartness. The banana bread was very banana in a fresh way. Can't go wrong!

Popped in for coffee and "brunch" snack. We ordered the monkey bread latte and a cold press with cardamom syrup. For food we choose the state fair themed items: dill pickle pizza focaccia and the caramel corn cake. We also ordered a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. The cake had great flavor, good crumb, and moist. The frosting was perfect and carried the caramel popcorn flavor well. The focaccia was tasty with lots of dill, light on the pickle chunks. (You can never have enough pickle!). The sandwich was a jalapeño cheddar biscuit and had a nice kick. Not the best carrier for the sandwich but still good flavor. Sat outside and enjoyed the summer day.

Limited parking, no seating, cordial staff. Decent assortment of coffees, other hot drinks, baked goods, including breakfast items that could be heated. I got the egg and cheese biscuit which was $10.50, and if you want ham $12.50. To heat it up only took 5mins. Biscuit was dense like a scone, and had an unnecessary flavor like a smokiness from too much black pepper. I'd give it a 2.5/5. Latte with caramel syrup (a $1 add-on) was good. Didn't really notice the caramel, but I'd still give the drink 4/5. Not too sweet or in need of additional sugars. I also got the Apple Cardamom hand pie. Tasty crust, and decent filling. If you like the typical spices of apple pie you won't find it. However, it's still a tasty treat 3/5. I've passed by many times in the past and overall I'm glad I got to check it out

Egg. Cheese, ham biscuit breakfast sandwich and small monkey bread latte

My bestie and I tried this spot late Sunday morning. It was a little busy. It's a cute little spot, but there is no where to sit or really stand inside while waiting for your order. There's lots of merchandise to buy, but hard to look when people are standing in front of it. Personally, just not a good set up for such a small space. I ordered the egg, cheese, and ham breakfast biscuit sandwich and a small monkey bread latte. It was good, but nothing mind blowing for me. Staff were fine and polite. I thought it would helpful if the display window listed what the pasties name were, so customers know what they are looking at and to order instead of pointing. If I'm in the area again, I may stop, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Small and cozy space with seating outside, everyone was so polite and friendly to me which I really appreciated since I did need a moment to look over the menu. The peaches and cream danish was delicious! Not too sweet with a great balance of flavors and I can definitely tell it was baked fresh just by how flaky and soft it was. I also enjoyed the monkey bread latte. I'll definitely be back again for sure There is a free parking lot with a limited number of parking spaces in front of the shop.

Enjoying the best savory scone (jalapeño/cheddar) I've ever had! Caffè latte, from beans roasted locally at Tiny Footprint, also top-notch. Visit!

Their cinnamon morning buns and savory monkey bread are the best in town, hands down.

Spent $20 for 2 mediocre lattes that have 2 pieces of ice each. Staff was friendly, but I will not be back because of the extreme cost.

First, I love the pastries you can buy to-go. This review though is for their cooking class. Be…read moreaware that you will be seated with a group of 6 and you'll have to work with them to decide who does what tasks, since not everyone will get to try making everything. I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

Living in the North Loop, Cooks Bellecour was hands-down our most visited spot--and for good…read morereason! This place is a slice of French heaven right in Minneapolis. Their pastries? Pure magic. The chocolate almond croissant is next level--flaky, buttery, and packed with rich, decadent flavor. And don't even get me started on the breakfast sandwiches--they're gourmet-level masterpieces. Every bite is perfection. The vibe & service here is warm and inviting, with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries filling the air. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, treating yourself to a pastry, or diving into one of their soups or salads, this place nails it every time. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Cooks Bellecour is an absolute gem!
