Jason and his team renovated the whole basement by installing drywall, replacing the drop ceiling with a conventional ceiling and new lighting, and covering the entire floor with functional but attractive laminate. They went above and beyond to make sure we were involved in the design and satisfied with the results. In addition, they replaced our kitchen floor, which had some water damage, with beautiful ceramic tile to complement the existing quartz counters. This is the second major project Jason has done for us. He previously remodeled a bathroom for us, replacing all the fixtures and flooring, as well as installing a pocket door. We are very happy with all the work that was done and would highly recommend Building Buddies.

From the moment I called Rex Glass, the man on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to give him the dimensions of the mirror, and he gave me a quote over the phone. Coming from the South Hills, it was a little hike (hike as in 25 minutes) to get to this location. When I arrived, the same man gave me a quote that was a little higher once he saw the mirror in person. He agreed to go down in price, based off of our initial phone conversation, which I thought was pretty awesome (only a few bucks, but still!) They repaired the mirror in no time. I received a text to come pick up the mirror, and when I did, I was extremely pleased with how it turned out! It looked original, like nothing had happened! Very thankful I found this place, hoping I don't have to use them in the future for mirror repairs! They do have beautiful shower doors, etc. They are much more than just a mirror replacement business, that's just what I used them for. Family owned, support local business! I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.
