Your life and its many struggles as well as good times means everything to Paul. And he'll take them all to his grave. My utmost trust lies in this man's and office's hands. A beautiful, cozy and warm office. He's one of the best business men and choices I've Ever made in my life. Never misleading and "knows the law". Never sugarcoats anything. He won't take you on as a client if he truely doesn't believe in you and knows something good will come out of your case. A no-nonsense man. Honesty and constant communication are the key. He makes you feel right at home in his place of business and not to mention, Lorrie Inlander. The beautiful inside and out, paralegal to Mr. Brownstein. She's an attribute to his office. She's an extremely and absolutely kind, as well as helpful to a "a fault", intelligent woman. She will work to her best ability for you. She's been helping me build up my confidence. You feel hopeful working with her and has, so happy I can say this, has become my friend and a positive attribute to my life. Pat, another staff member is also a very lovely, knowledgeable and a very hardworking employee. In all honesty their all an absolute joy to work with and yes, a joy to visit. An attorney's office! Who would've ever thought going to see your laywer is something to look forward to. I'm a true believer and I've beco.e extremely fortunate to have come to work with. Many, many thanks to the whole entire staff. If I could work alongside them I'd snatch it up in an instant. They've all become... God's gift to me at one of The Most Difficult times of my life. Thank you SO MUCH. Many thanks and hopefully the beginning to life long friends and associates. Sincerely, Lynn Ann Kolber

I received Disorderly Conduct ticket, and mailed in a request and a check to set up a $10 per month payment plan ($300 ticket). I am aware that is a low amount monthly, but it is ALL I CAN AFFORD. I have a 10 month old daughter, I am a recovering opiate addict (3 years clean), and my job is literally hanging by a thread because the company I work for is not profiting. My drug treatment program costs me nearly $450 a month on top of rent, food, my car expenses, and my child! I do not have $25 a month to give these people, yet he still denied me. A difference of $15 a month was apparently too drastic for him. I guess Bucks County really needs my money. He showed literally NO compassion. I was not disrespectful, I was not rude, and I showed up ON TIME. I explained my situation as politely and respectfully as I could. This is not the first time I have ever spoken to a judge. When he viewed my phone bill, he said to me, "Why do you need a phone?" I was baffled, and still am. Does this man live in 1965 still? "Why don't you use a landline?" he asked. I explained that I don't have one, and even if I did it would COST MONEY. Does Mr. Benz think phone lines are free? I hope and pray for the people of Bucks County. I hope you do not ever have to deal with this compassion-less dope in the courtroom. Obviously he is a Republican; it did not shock me to learn that. Mr. Benz essentially spit in my face and told me to get out. I'm happy I don't visit Bucks County anymore. The sight of this man would make me ill.

You can just tell that he's a good guy. He laid out all requirements to me and also the estimated timeline for the courts to process it. I suggest that if you're looking for an attorney in Philly for landlord / tenant disputes, that you look no further than Mark. I hope I don't need a landlord/tenant attorney again, but if I do, Mark is the only person I'm calling.

Our landlord then had the audacity to sue us instead of letting us leave peacefully even though, according to Philadelphia law, we had every right to break our lease. This resulted in us, with the help of Mr. Copoulos, filing a counterclaim. Throughout the entire filing-continuance-time consuming performance that reporting to court ultimately becomes Mr. Copoulos was easy to communicate with and constantly kept us abreast of any and all changes. Come time for court, which actually ended up going to trial, Mr. Copoulos genuinely exceeded my expectations with his line of questioning and cross-examination of both myself and my landlord. It was a tough case and I actually thought my landlord's lawyer bested me a few times but Mr. Copoulos was able to call bullsh&t and we came out on top. We were awarded our counterclaim and my landlord had to walk away with an extremely salty, yet magnificently sour face. Needless to say I was very pleased. It is worth mentioning that even if Mr. Copoulos had lost our case, he still would have gotten a five star rating as he really does know his stuff and seems to be an all-around solid guy. Plus, I found his cost to be beyond reasonable and that always helps. Bottom line: if you want great representation for a reasonable fee, go with Mark D. Copoulos.
