And now, this is where the two star review comes in. Before leaving his office I was told the office would schedule the further appointment at Cooper hospital for me and send me a text when they did. A week went past without any update so I called myself. The office stated they would instead schedule the appointments with Jefferson. 15 minutes later I received the confirmation text from the office with the appointment details. Fast forward to the 7th, I drive an hour to Jefferson only to be told the appointment was rescheduled TWICE then cancelled entirely meaning I drove an hour for absolutely nothing. Fast forward again to this afternoo, I check my mail, lo and behold, A LETTER FROM COOPER! The letter states I no called/no showed/no future appointment scheduled. I was never informed about an appointment being made with Cooper hospital as I was told it was made with Jefferson. So now I've missed an appointment, had an appointment rescheduled and canceled twice, and not a lick of communication was made with me about any of it. Clearly this office hires absolutely incompetent staff who are incapable of properly scheduling appointments on their patients behalf.

He went through other possible causes and logically ruled them out. He could run more tests, but in his experience they were unnecessary as he was 99% certain of his diagnosis given lack of other symptoms and my age. Bottom line choices were two; do nothing and see him in a year, or check out what a small hearing device might do to improve the situation. Made sense. I took an appointment to explore that option in a few weeks in the same office with Bucks Mercer Hearing Centers. No charge for the introduction to the variety of technology available today. Everyone in the office was pleasant from front desk, to audiologist, to Dr. Mallen, to last stop for next appointments.
