We flew in from Tampa to Redmond and got in at midnight. Very long day and we were on east coast time zone . Andrew was out driver He. Was very patient with us having to explain where to walk from the airport ( about 5 minutes) in redmond to find him as they can't pick up in front of airport. We text upon landing and waited for our bag and proceeded to our short walk . In that time he had already added two passengers to our ride and actually asked if we could wait 15 more minutes while he took them home first. I said no absolutely not we are very tired and I had arranged this ride first. So we get in the van with the two other people which is fine except I would think we would get dropped off at our house first. But that wasn't the case so he dropped off his two other passengers first and it took a long time exchanging money and then they realize their car had a dead battery. So Andrew looked at us and said well I'm gonna jump them really quick if you don't mind waiting. And I said no absolutely not. Please take us home first you can come back and jump them it was now 12:40 am. So he mapped our house which was about a six minute drive away and during that drive he was texting the whole time and remember its the middle of the night ; texting and driving always not a good thing especially at from a taxi driver. Topped off our 5 mile ride with by charging us $50! He just seemed so unprofessional. read more

Hi. I use Coiled Cab for all of my business clients as well as family, when I am too tired to drive to the airport. I have been using Coiled from the beginning, through it all they have been a great partner. Have there been hiccups? Maybe one in 30 shuttles, but when there is an issue they fix it ASAP. I have noticed several 1-Star reviews on this site today, which prompted my review. I would not believe them. These accounts appear to be trolls, I know Uber is notorious for trying to discredit local businesses, each account was just opened this month with only one review each. My two cents is if you need a ride, call Coiled. Thanks! read more

We called to see if we could hire a taxi from Bend to Pacific Crest Trail around the fire closure. The male employee who answered was extremely rude, yelled at us and told us they do not go outside Bend and hung up. Would not recommend a company with such poor customer service. read more

I've used coiled cabs several time and WHERE my preferred ride to the airport. But this morning they burnt me, no driver and not even a phone call to say they where under staffed. Wow totally bummed, had to wake up my wife and kids and 4:30 am for an emergency ride to the airport. Will certainly tell all my people and clients to use another service. read more

We used Coiled Cabs as transportation for our June 2018 wedding. They were super easy to work with to get everything set up, and I was able to book and pay for the 2 vans we used ahead of time online. Coiled cabs took a reservation for two vans to pickup guests at the end of my wedding. There's no cell service at the venue, so I had to reserve ahead. I even called and confirmed a few days before the event. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. They stranded 12 people without any way of getting home, including my parents. I called the next day to see what happened, never got a response. Really disappointing that you dropped the ball. read more

I reserved a cab on Thursday for a Saturday flight. At 3:00 AM on Saturday, two hours before our pickup we are called by the driver who says that he is an overflow driver and he's not sure he can pick us up. We had gotten a text at about 10:00 PM the previous night, saying to call him which we tried to do and didn't get an answer. He calls back about an hour later, saying he can get us in, if we'd be willing to get picked up earlier. I said that wouldn't work. He then offers to pick us up but it will cost us $75 (more than double the normal fare). I turned him down and called Enviroshuttle. They were very responsive and were able to get us to the airport for $35. I know Coilded get very positive reviews but this was incredibly poor service, particularly after we had reserved a cab two days before departure. read more

Ok. So interesting topic in Bend bc sometimes cabs "aren't available" for 45 minutes plus in my experience, but these folks have been so nice even when they say they're busy they've always been willing to put me on the list. All the drivers have been more than friendly. When I wanted a place to stay and the Bethlehem Inn didn't accept me Tony invited me to crash at his pad. So many Blessings for that. Bri and the other Brittyn also helped me out when I was low on cash and the other driver I had waited for me while I stopped for errands. Huge up to this cab company. The other cab companies in Bend have been great too, but right now this is my go to to support local peeps. read more

Both times I took a Coiled Cab from Bend to Redmond airport, I felt unsettled and unsafe because the drivers seem distracted by their dispatch duties. The first time the driver was the main dispatch person and was taking calls on her cell phone and directing other drivers to their pick-up destinations. Today's driver was writing down street addresses and names on a pad of paper while driving down a wintery, wet highway. All of these Coiled Cab drivers are breaking the law in Oregon. They all should be required to take a Distracted Driving Avoidance course. The drivers were pleasant, but I felt a little unsafe given their divided focus. read more

0 stars. Some guy answered the phone yesterday evening. I confirmed with him twice that they would pick me up at 8am from my hotel so that I could get to work in this snow. He didn't bother to take my name but I figured I would see a cab in the morning. I didn't. No advance notice, no answer to my call. The most unprofessional cab service. Not one to gush about a cab company but this group of drivers is more like a family of friends and by FAR the best option for where we live! I also travel constantly for work and they are the only company I depend on when I need a 3:30 a.m. pick-up for the airport! Hate those but toasty ride is always waiting out front, as they are at the airport as they monitor my arrival. Cathy (Cat - my fave driver) even sent a text when she knew I may be marooned in Denver on way from east coast a few weeks ago. Seriously? That is not a cab company...that is a group of drivers and management that I trust. Not to say I'm just an airport runner - I regularly bomb around Bend with packs of friends and guests from out of town and they always make me look like a star. Friendly and cool drivers indeed. An early morning pick up to get to Redmond Airport was scheduled several days in advance and the driver was on time in a black cab named Morticia. The driver was friendly and helped load and unload luggage as well as engaged in conversation with us during the drive to the airport. I could not find anything to complain about during the trip or the experience. I will certainly suggest Coiled to others. read more

Called for a cab. Dispatch said it would be 15 minutes. Less than a minute later dispatch calls back to wonder where was I going again? After 15 minutes, I get a call from another number wondering if I still need a cab? WTF. Uh. Yeah. He says he'll be there in 7 minutes. At the 10 minute mark, I started walking. Got several more calls from that number a few minutes after that. I didn't answer. With as many options as there are in town, I doubt I'll use Coiled again. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because dispatch did call back even though I'm sure it must have been embarrassing to have forgotten "Deschutes County Courthouse" in less than a minute...and the driver did call at the 15 minute mark. Overall, I get the feeling they were probably understaffed and didn't want to tell me the real wait time from the get-go figuring I'd call someone else. Which I did. I'd have waited the 30-35 minutes if they'd just been up front about it. read more
