Years ago I bought and sold silver through coin cradle and they always did right by me. In 25/26 when silver was at $90 they gave me about 60% for non bullion and90% for bullion. I went to the coin vault in richland and got 77% for non bullion and going going rate for bullion. I was recommended this location by a jeweler who had reviewed some inherited jewelry from the UK. All pieces were 9 carat gold as typical of gold from Europe. Knowing it could be difficult to sell, I called this location and spoke with someone who seemed disinterested and said that although they didn't usually deal with it, they had done so were in the past. I drove to the store and went in behind the only other customer in the store. He was immediately approached by a younger man who assisted with his coin questions and purchases. I stood around for a little and then an older gentleman sitting behind a desk asked if he could help. I explained why I was there and he told me they didn't deal with gold less than 10 carats. I told him I had called earlier and was told the store had in the past, which was confirmed by the other gentleman in the store who was still serving the other customer. The man got up and asked me to approach the counter further down. I showed him the pieces which consisted of complete and broken chains and 2 rings. He proceeded to examination them with a magnifying glass looking for hallmarks which are not always seen in European jewelry, as confirmed as not unusual by the other member of staff. He then used a machine to scan each piece multiple times, presumably to confirm their gold content. Then he weighed them. Did some calculations and made a money offer. I accepted this offer and provided him with my WA driving license. At this point I had been in the store for at least 10 mins wearing a face mask because I had the start of a cold. I sounded congested and a runny nose but was not sneezing or coughing. He then stated that he thought masks were a waste of time and that because they served elderly customers and would lose money if his staff fell sick, he would not continue to serve me. He also stated that months earlier he had had to close shop because of illness. I felt at this point, having gone through the whole process, this was an excuse because he had only the paperwork to complete and had already been dealing with me for a while. Had he refused service at the time of greeting me with the same reason, I would happily have understood and come back at a later date. To go through the whole process, make an offer and then refuse service seemed to be a complete waste of both of our times. His poor attitude, lack of effort and little customer service did me a favor. I went online to a company called Express gold cash. I registered by interest, received a return FedEx tracking label with packaging quickly in the mail. For a faster service I could have printed my own prepaid FedEx label. Items were received within 2 days and an offer made the next. The offer was more than I had agreed to in this store and the money was deposited directly into my bank account within 2 days. Very easy. Could have also arranged for FedEx pick up if the items were too large or heavy. Express Gold also followed up to make sure I had received my envelope. Great customer service unlike this store. read more

The old owner wasn't wearing a mask and was coughing. Yet yelled at an old lady for not wearing one even though she had a health condition. Also they mark up the price on everything about 20%. You're better off buying online. read more

These guys are awesome. I go in often with coins I've found and they go through them patiently with me. They don't have Dutch bros personalities but have never been rude to me. They buy gold and will use their fancy gun to let you know what's real and what's not. They are professional and honest and when it comes to money that's important. They have bought gold from me and don't care what condition it is in just how pure it is. This is a great place. Take your kids they will love seeing all the treasure they have. read more

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a coin store. Me and my elderly Aunt came into the the store to sell my grandfathers old gold rings because we needed the money. And he take them and scans them and proceeds to tell us that he is not interested but he said this in a very passive aggressive tone. My aunt then asks why and he shows her the scanner that had so many numbers and lines that I could even understand. The store did not have many people in it so it's not like he had some where else to be. He seemed very annoyed that we were in there. My aunt then states that we had just got them Appraised at vans jewelry 30min ago and then rudely say I don't think vans jewelry has a 20,000 dollar machine to test gold. And them tells us to go scam someone else and then me and my aunt leave. We were not planning on scamming anyone. And we did not deserve this disrespect from this man. My aunt was very traumatized by this and we will not be going back. And I hope no one else has to deal with that employee ever again. read more
