My regular laundromat "Katies" were experiencing an electrical outage and I needed to wash a large load of towels for a nail salon "Tabby's Nail Cabby" immediately. I begin searching for the next nearest laundromat and chose "Coin Wash Laundry" It's been decades since I've been to a laundromat and I was in need of assistance every step of the way and that's where I met this lovely helpful lady name "Emily" Emily made my experience so effortless. Clean and fast laundromat. The clerk behind the glass came out with mask on and showed me a smaller washing machine ($6) which would still clean my king size blanket while also saving me $3.50. She also mentioned that someone had left extra detergent and gave it to me, which saved me another dollar. I purchased fabric softener from their vending machine and began the 23 minute wash cycle. While I waited in my car (mandatory during Covid), I watched sweep and wipe down the machines. They also offered some chairs out front spaced out to maintain social distancing. I thought the clerk was helpful and kind and my experience was excellent. read more

The machines reset at 8:50 on the nose. I called ahead of time because I was running behind schedule and stated I'd be there in 20 minutes around 8:47 PM. The employee said, "Okay," and the machines stopped "around 8:50". He DID NOT tell me the machines would stop working at 8:50 exactly (as a heads up in case I didn't make it). Unfortunately, I arrived at the store, loaded my wash, ran back to the car to grab my wallet, and saw the machine say, "99999". I asked the employee why I couldn't start the machine. He said, "You just missed it. I can't do anything about it." Then he informed me I was too late; he could do nothing to start the machine. So I unloaded my dirty laundry and left. Perhaps he could have told me the machines stopped working at 8:50 sharp before I drove there!!!! That was incredibly frustrating!!!! It is a terrible experience, and their employees should tell people the machines stop strictly at 8:50 PM. Honestly, I wonder if that employee enjoyed seeing me waste my time! Wow. This place is a hidden gem. So I own my own washer and dryer but was looking for an oversized washer and dryer for my new California King sheets. This place is right down the street from me. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean it was. I had no clue what I was doing as I haven't been in a laundry mat in years. The girl from behind the glass came out to help me and show me what to do. The machines take credit cards so you don't have to carry singles or a ton of change. Smaller machines are $6.00-$6.50and the huge ones are $9.00 -$9.50 depending on the cycle you choose. Place has WiFi. So that's a bonus. Or if you don't want to sit while laundry is being done.....there is a bar 5 feet away . Subway and Chinese food as well. The place is decent inside. We used this place when our machines didn't work at our complex from time to time. Since we had many unfortunate run-ins with the owner, Jen... we refuse to come back. Also, seeing her responses to bad reviews just really puts a bad taste in my mouth. If you read some of them, they are so unprofessional. She is not fit for business or customer service. Great place, they use credit cards. So much easier in coins. Machines are very clean. Lots of choices for load sizes, and the dryers are very reasonable priced at one dollar. Clean, and there's areas to fold clothes and do work. And I must say a great little diner next-door if you wanna quick bite while you're waiting for your clothes to be washed or dry. I went into this laundry for the first time and will never go back again. The owner is very disrespectful, does not know how to treat other people, very rude and it's hard to believe she has her own business. The staff seemed to do a great job, but she treated her people like absolute dirt! Nobody deserves to be spoken to or treated the way she spoke to an employee. I hope this employee can find a much better, probably higher paying job than they already have. It just blows my mind that she finds it okay, in front of other people using the laundromat that is okay to speak that way, to ANYONE. I only seek out laundry-mats when I need to wash larger blankets that a home washer/dryer cannot handle without breaking. I used to bring my grandmother here weekly to do laundry back in 2016 and I absolutely loved it, so I thought I would return for my blankets. I was NOT disappointed. The place is clean and all washers/dryers were working. They have a selection of small, medium, and large washers, with some holding up to 8 loads. The machines accept both quarters and credit cards and are fairly prices. 8 loaders go for $10.50, 6 loaders go for $8.50, 4 loaders for $6.50, and 3 loaders for $4.50. Dryers are 50 cents for 8 minutes. Do not hesitate to bring your laundry here. They also have wifi here. Subway in the same plaza for a quite bite. read more

This laundromat was nice when a different family owned it. Years later,a new family takes over removed the good dryers and raised the prices. That sucked but the real problem is the staff. The woman is more of a warden than a friendly attentive person that should be grateful for your business. Customer service is truly lacking here. I just want to clean my clothes, not have to deal with a stuck up attendant who's constantly watching the customers to make sure they follow the laundry rules that they have posted on the wall. If another location was closer, I would definitely go there. read more

Super clean laundromat and very helpful owner! Lots of machines ranging in sizes with standard laundromat prices. There are plenty of seats to wait for your laundry and a ton of tables to fold your clothes. There's also free WiFi and movies playing on the tv! And a large parking lot. Can't beat it! read more

Liked this more than Katie's Green and Clean, only because there is more parking, and it is less crowded. They do take credit cards and it is a nice, clean facility. I started going to this laundromat in 2008, the person Jennifer used to work there with her daughter. I don't know when she bought it. She seemed okay, no issues initially. The last time I was there 2019, it was like she was a drill Sargent and possessed. She would watch every move, even ran up to me when I was putting clothes in a washer pointing. She's so lucky that I'm nice. Just very unpleasant. I witnessed her over the years being rude with her dark depressing look, and always fussing at her daughter. I paid not much attention until I had to deal with her dark personality. My last experience was uncomfortable. Monitoring every move, pointing instead of talking. Just unprofessional. I'm happy I don't have to go back. The washers are expensive, and they don't wash good. read more

This location is always clean and machines are readily available. The dryers work well and dry thoroughly. They definitely clean and maintain the washing machines. The staff are always polite and helpful in answering questions. I've seen customers picking up orders & noticed the clothes are folded and bagged neatly. This is a service I'll consider using in the future. I would recommend this laundromat if you live in the area. read more

I'm so happy that I found this place. I just moved to the area from a college town, where laundromats are abundant and open at odd hours. This laundromat is super clean, affordable ($2.25 for regular washers and $0.25 for six minutes of dryer time), and it has nice tables to sit down at as well as free wifi! Hooray :). The girl working today was very helpful, too. I only wish that it was open later, but that's because I work odd hours and tend to forget to do my laundry until last minute... read more

Nobody has reviewed this place yet? What does everyone live under a rock? Or maybe they are still doing their laundry at another place? This is one of those "Should I Yelp about this place? Because if I do...more people may come" kind of things. But, rather than keep this inside I have to Yelp it out. This place is GREAT!!!! Clean? Uh yes!! Like I would do my laundry in a skeezy place? Pahlease!!! Clean clean clean. And the owners? Very friendly, always working, cleaning...available! Which is WAY more than I can say about the 1st Lakewood laundry mat that I went to. Oh and as if clean areas (including the bathroom) isn't enough, they have a punch card program. Once you fill up the cards...you get $2 off of your next visit. Prices? Cheaper than the skeezy place I went to before as well. So...in a nutshell, if you live in Lakewood and want a killer place to wash your clothes...COME HERE ALREADY!!! I live on the East side and drive past several laundry mats on the way here. Oh and they have a drop off service too, if you don't have time to do your laundry. Although it offers wi-fi for customers (which, I'm not sure if they know the meaning of), the customer service is HORRIBLE. Attitude and non-chalant demeanor are to be expected. I have spent plenty of money in this coin wash even once spending over $40 in one sitting on their machines to wash clothes. Yet, when I go to get change (the change is for "customers") after buying a laundry bag (yes, purchasing the laundry bag made me a customer.) I was refused change. The blatantly snobby attendant asked me if I was washing. No I wasn't, but she had just sold me a bag. I explained that it wasn't on the machine, to which she replied "it is". At this point, she is staring me down as if I that was supposed to scare me or make me feel sheepish. I suggested for future reference that the difference be made clear to which she said something that I did not hear. Basically it was a standoff. Either way, the laundrymat did not lose money, if anything- it gained and extra $0.50. Here's the thing: I can read. Businesses need to be specific and stop thinking that people don't have options. Lakewood is small but capitalism means there are options and I actually have a laundry room in my building.
