Beware! They may lose your clothes if you do their wash and fold pickup service. They mixed my clothes another person's up so I have some of theirs and some of mine is apparently still missing? I feel like it should be an easy problem to fix. If two different people both call and say I am missing clothes, it should be that hard to return them to the rightful owner. Wash House CLE has made no attempt to pick up these other clothes. I have tried to return them, but I refuse to drive them there myself. This place is AMAZING. I was absolutely dreading the thought of having to deal with the 10 trash bags of dirty clothes sitting in my trunk when I stumbled upon the washhouse Café. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a coffee bar and massage chair-I almost forgot I was there to do a chore I have put off for five weeks. This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to, with the best washers, dryers and folding racks. Staff was walking around the perimeter, cleaning the machines and floors. I finally decided to wash blankets and comforters that have been waiting to be launder since 2019. I like that the front door is hands free. It makes it easier to get all your laundry in the door. (Free dry on Wednesday and Thursday) I arrived after 6PM on a Thursday and left at about 8:45PM. The place was pretty busy. There were no 9 ($11) load washers available, they have 4. I used 6 ($8) load washer and one 9 load one when it became available. Even though they were pretty busy some of their policies make things go pretty fast. 1. after 5 minutes your items will be removed from the machine. I think this keeps everyone a bit more aware of how long they have. Ultimately, not one wants a stranger touching their laundry. The machines take quarters or credit. You can find a ATM in the facility and a bill change and change machine. They also have a small play area for children located next to the front seating area. Next to the seated area they also have a pretty large charging area with all the cords you can think of. Cafe: The cafe is open till 5PM daily so I did not get to indulge. Also, they no longer offer food which was a huge let down. Apparently it took 3 people to run the cafe when food was served, without the food they only need one person. BACKSTORY (please skip this part if you wish) - If you are frustrated like me with doing laundry then the Wash House is for you. I never have cash on me because my bank isn't close to my apartment; thus, I can never get change to exchange my dollars for quarters. Even though my apartment building has a change machine, that doesn't help me when I never have cash on me plus the change machine sometimes doesn't work. I wish my apartment building had one of those credit card laundry cards but there isn't one there My problem was solved when was browsing through the Yelp app one day and noticed that one of my followers, Hope S., had posted amazing photos of this laundromat. This is how I found out about this laundry facility and coffee shop. I visited The Wash House on Saturday, 24 April 2021 after having lunch at Avo Modern Mexican Restaurant, facts you didn't need to know but here you are reading it on this late Saturday night in May or whatever time it is in your time zone.....haha. Jokes aside, let's get to the point. LAUNDRY -- The washing machines vary in size from small, medium, and large. A employee helped me pick out which size I should use based on my laundry load. The drying machines are one size only which is extremely large. The cost to wash your clothes depends on the size of the machine that you get. I thought I would need a medium size machine (about $6) but one of the employees told me a small machine (about $3.50) would work for the number of clothes that I had. She said this because the machine actually expands inside. I was shocked that my clothes fit into the small washing machine because I had a ton of clothes, about 2.5 loads worth including bed sheets. After I washed my clothes (it took about 20 mins) and after I dried them (about 35-45 mins), I was satisfied with the my experience. All my clothes came out clean. The drying machines cost about $1 but after a dry cycle ends, you can just add money to the machine if you need more time to dry your clothes. Please call or check their website on the exact prices as I wrote an estimated guess here. SUPER CLEAN - The reason I had never visited Laundromats in the past was because the outside of them always looked old and I figured they may not be clean inside. The Wash House is different because the machines here are clean and the facility is kept very tidy and clean. PAYMENT -- Cash or quarters are not needed because you pay with a debit/credit card directly on the machine OR you can buy a laundry card and insert money unto the laundry card. A very simple process. The washing machines do also accept quarters in case you don't have a debit/credit card. CUSTOMER SERVICE -- Amazing! I asked so many questions on my first visit and the woman who helped me was very helpful. She literally stayed with me as I put my first load into the washing machine because I was just nervous that all my clothes wouldn't fit into the small machine and I didn't want to mess up the machine. CAFE -- There is a small cafe here that sells tea, coffee, famous Mitchell's Ice-Cream, snacks, pastries, etc. I ordered a green tea latte and it was made well. This place seriously rocks, it honestly is so much fun. From coffee, food, snacks, and even Mitchells ice cream... this cafe has it all. Theres wifi and seats like a coffee shop, and a play area for kids. If you have children, this honestly might be a hot spot to hit up to get work done while they play (no washing clothes required.) The patio is massive and such a fun area... lets talk about that massive ice cream cone! It's clean, its fun, and really such a great concept here. I needed laundry done quickly as I was heading out of town and NADIA SAVED ME! I called her she explained the price per pound for wash and fold explained the entire procedure to me asked me if I needed any softener or bleach. She was so kind and patient, a complete gem. I'm a bit over the top with cleanliness and this place hits the mark it is very clean. If you need perfectly folded clothes handled with care call Nadia or doing it yourself is not bad at all. 15lb minimum and about 1.35 a pound. read more

I thought the place was very clean BUT the customer service was terrible and felt highly disgusted by the whole spleal the female worker had when I asked a simple question when I had to pay at the register for my drying. I wanted to get the loyalty card but their system and machine declined both of my debit and credit cards. So that was not my fault I feel that's their system. So I ask when the lady walks me over to the washing machine I asked when I use my credit card from here I swore she said it would just be the charge. Not the 15 extra. Well I dunno bout you guys but this shit just ruined and stressed me out cuz every dollar of mine counts. And I'm supposed to go to Walmart to get groceries that I really couldn't afford them now it's like should I even bother. This spot first impresses you with its cute decor and cafe vibe. You nearly forget you're in a laundromat until the clean scent of detergent hits your nose. I was starting to load my king size comforter in a machine and the lady working there said 'that will fit in a smaller machine and save you money!' She also reminded me that Thursday's are free drying! She was so helpful and I really appreciated how friendly she was. There are tons of machines, carts, folding stations and many amenities. Comfy chairs, tables, a phone charging station, play area for kids, clean bathrooms, a lovely outdoor seating area, vending machines, coffee station,plenty of parking, and great music. Stoped in for ice cream...who knew you could do laundry and get Mitchell's ice cream and Caribou coffee. The Wash House is very clean, modern and pretty awesome. The rates are very affordable and the machines appear to be efficient. I didn't do laundry but if I had to I would do it here. I would have given higher marks, but even though the sign and hours posted state the cafe is open until 11:00 pm, the were only serving ice cream and cold brew coffee at 7:00, even though the caribou menu was very nice extensive. I have been frequenting the Wash House on and off since July 2020 and found their rates reasonable for Wash and Dry and the location is clean, offers delightful Coffee and Ice Cream, and has a nice play area for the kids. Wednesday and Thursday offer free drying so those nights tend to be Very busy but this is something you contend with. This past weekend I decided to splurge once and dropped off laundry to be done. I was... gobsmacked by how much it cost but not because the price was unknown, it is not, it is clearly displayed... but because I had no idea I had brought THAT much laundry in LOL. Needless to say just one day later I receive the text message my clothing has been done and needs picked up. I picked it up and things were folded and pressed in my bag. Socks matched (when matches were available), underwear was all folded and wrapped together. Everything was perfect and money that had been left in a pocket was returned to me in a baggie. THIS spoke volumes to me. A+ on this service. While I may not utlize it again, or at least not too frequently, I highly recommend it if you've the resources but not the time. Great job! read more

I machine was taking my quartera. I went to get staff to assist. The first gentleman that came over, was very kind and willing to help once he had walked away. I had tried to put additional quarters in the machine and the machine started to act up again. The first worker called for another gentleman to come and assist, and the man is on camera yelling at me, he was rude and abrasive, very aggressive to and made me feel threatened. Hands down the best laundromat in Ohio, let alone the westside of Cleveland, this includes Fairview Park. There isn't a facility that I've been to that can hold a candle to this place. Newer equipment (which is wiped down and sanitized every 30 minutes or so; wonderful for the existing times that we currently live in), friendly staff, clean facilities..just can't say enough good about this place! Very clean laundromat with new equipment and free WiFi. Price is a bit high which is why it doesn't get five stars but that also helps keep the clientele more respectable. Laundry starts at $3.75 a load and goes up for the bigger washers. The washers only take 24 minutes which is great and the dryers only charge $0.25 for either four or six minutes at a time depending on the size. They have clean restrooms and a friendly staff. They offer transfer services but I haven't had the need for that. They also offer a drop off laundry service which seems reasonable but I prefer to do my own. Inside there is a small coffee shop so if you want to drink coffee or munch on small food while you wait it's available there. As far as laundromats go I highly recommend this one. read more

I do not havve any photos to share of this amazing laundromat. I can honestly say that this is one of the cleanest, nicest, most amazing laundromats I've EVER been to. This was the first one that had so many amazing perks too. Let's start with Tara. She was incredible she was the attendant that was working while I was there. Not only was she kind and friendly but also incredibly helpful. She explained to me how everything worked. She helped everyone that walked into the door. The regular customers shared a stories making you feel very safe and at home. When she wasn't assisting customers by making ice cream cones, food , or coffee. She was sweeping floors and keeping the place tidy. So not only it's it really clean they also have like a TON of televisions and nice comfy chairs. a play area for the kids and place that you can sit and eat. They have everything here. They serve Caribou Coffee! They have Mitchell's ice cream. They have drop off service. They have anything for doing your laundry that you can imagine. Just did my laundry at the Wash House and Cafe near W 150th and Lorain. Very impressed, although not the most economical, I think. But wow! You can get Caribou Coffee, a hot dog, and Mitchell's ice cream while the washers are going. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Helped me wheel laundry from trunk to building, into the lift and up to the 2nd floor. Everything so brand new spanking clean. Machines cleaned my grungy stuff very well, and the dryers seemed more efficient than where I used to go. It was a fun place to be, so much so that I may put off getting a washer and dryer.
