All the machines are new and work well. The place is super clean. There's wifi. Most of the machines take credit cards. The staff was nice. I was the last load allowed at 7 PM and stayed a bit after the rest of the customers folding my laundry. Next time I'll plan ahead a little better. Also: THE DRYERS ARE FREE! I can't overstate how amazing that is. I have been getting so pissed at the machines in my building which don't work properly half the time. I'm driving here from now on. Had to find a laundromat suddenly. Service staff was nice. Dryers were free. Washer Takes cards but reader is slow to reset. I had to wait 15 minutes before reader reset. Double check reader doesn't say active before putting clothes in washer. Not too bad, but floor could be cleaner. Vending machines and detergent vending. read more

This place is a scam. I went to do my laundry one day. When I put my laundry in the dryer, I didn't realize that it was the free section. There were no signs anywhere that indicated that. When I spoke to the associate on Sunday they told me to come back on Monday to get my money back. When I came on Wednesday they told me that I can't get my money back. It seems like they take advantage of new people in town. At any rate. I would never go back here and I suggest that you don't either. read more

I usually like this laundry mat however if you have to use the restroom, expect the staff to knock on the door incessantly while you are going. I'm not talking an spending 5-10 min in there. I'm talking 1-2 to go number two and wash your hands. Even if you yell that you will be right out they will keep knocking and then not apologize after. Today was the second time this has happened. It's ashamed because I like everything else about it but the staff that does this. If they knocked lightly that might be one thing but it was loud and it didn't matter that I said I'd be right out. And to dismiss me when I told them that sometimes someone has to go #2 and it takes more than a minute they said it was all good. I told them it was not good at all as they walked away. They couldn't care less that they did this in front of all of their patrons. read more

I started using the Heights Laundry Center several years ago when it opened, for the occasional time when I needed to do laundry I did not want to put in my home machine. At that time it was excellent. Everything was new and clean. I used it about a month ago and it was ok but appearance and cleanliness had declined. I went yesterday to do a comforter. The attendant was helpful in telling me what size machine to use and how much soap as I had not done this before. But after that everything was downhill. At least 1/3 of the machines were not working. The floors were dirty and the attendant was not sweeping, but rather sitting in her office area. THe bathrooms are a mess. THe electric dryers do not work and there are no paper towels. The women's room had no soap. When I asked about it she said that she had to rotate the soap bottle between the men's and women's rooms. But a few minutes later she had not bothered to do that. I don't know who owns this laundry but they ought to be ashamed. THis laundry center is very convenient to my home. However, in the future i will drive twice as far to Mayfield Heights to use the Speed Cycle Express Landromat which is always clean and well managed. I will not use Heights Laundry Center again. read more

The employee, Jerry, was very friendly, helpful, and constantly cleaning. The facility itself is very clean (even the bathrooms.) The washing machines take credit cards as well as quarters which is incredible, but the dryers only take quarters. There are change machines here so no big deal. We went there in the middle of the day on Saturday and it was very quiet and not crowded. To think of all the evenings I could have spared myself waiting around for the single (more expensive) machine at my apartment to become available! As of this review, the 8x machines were $5.00. The larger dryers were $0.75 and the smaller dryers were $0.50 for 30 minutes. We also used a 2x load machine which was $2.00. They had other size machines available as well (6x was $4.00, 4x was $3.25, 3x was $2.50.) They have vending machines for snacks and soaps and whatever. Plus a Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball machine if that's your thing. I'm very happy to welcome this business to the neighborhood! New favorite laundry spot. read more

I use this laundromat fairly regularly as it's the only one I know of near me that accepts credit and debit cards. It's generally pretty clean and has lots of machines, free dryers, and enough places to sit. The staff is usually pretty rude though and they treat customers like they're an inconvenience even though it's all self-service. I've been barked at and shooed away more times than is acceptable. read more

Last time I went to wash blankets and quilts I had to bring the home wet after waiting for 40 minutes for a dryer. Half of them weren't working. Today I took a rug in and the credit card payment wasn't working. I left to go to an ATM and came back but was told I couldn't use the larger size machine. And I would have to put my $20 bill into the change machine to get $20 in quarters. Place is never working. Get a maintenance person! read more

Very clean. Many machines. Attendant is very nice and cleans up very often, even when it's just a cart that needs to be put back. Machines even take cards. There is double load, 3X, 4X, 6X, and 8X load washers. I probably had 9 loads of laundry and I used the 8X machines and it took 30 min to wash it all - such a huge time saver!!! I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. Dryers are 75 cents for 30 min and there's two sizes-regular and XL. The XL worked for my loads perfectly. This place is great. Each machine offers the option to use a card rather than quarters, which makes it so much easier. The dryers are free. I've been going to this laundromat every weekend for more than a year to do my laundry, to the extent that the managers have even given me free laundry bags for coming so often. I went to change my $20 into quarters on my way back from getting groceries, so that I could drop the extra quarters off with my groceries at home while I grabbed my laundry (I don't like carrying that much change at one time). As I was leaving, an employee came out YELLING at me and telling me not to come back. As I tried to explain the situation, they employee took the plates on my car and continued to act incredibly unprofessionally. There are no signs posted saying that you can only get change when you are washing, and the demeanor of this individual was horribly off-putting and disrespectful. Needless to say, message received- I will not be coming back. Update- after speaking to management, they were very kind and assured me that the issue would be resolved. First time coming to Heights Laundry Center was terrible half the dryers and washers were not working and multiple customers were being robbed of their money, because no signs were posted on the washers to avoid such an issue! Then the attendants said the company doesn't put signs up but will issue a refund at your next visit but only with the same attendant that's helped you that specific day, and if that wasn't bad enough if the sheet they used was collected by management your "free wash" as a refund will now be invalid because they don't have the sheet, the attendants here at Heights Laundry Center don't try and accommodate the customers but more so considered with washing their own laundry like the day I visited. read more

if i could give it zero stars, i would. washer died, checked yelp, according to the website, its supposed to be open until 8:30pm. i haul my laundry there after work only to be told they are closing in 15 minutes. another person attempted to come in a moment after me. he was also turned away. this business needs to update theirs hours on the internet to match actual store hours. the upside, i found a laundromat in little italy that only charges $2 a load...and they stay open until 10pm. read more

I needed to wash 3 coats, 3 throw rugs, and 2 blankets, all too large for my machine. I ventured over to Heights, and found the MOST HELPFUL attendant, clean facilities, good prices (especially compared to having them done at a dry cleaners), and an easy end to my problem. The only drawback (true of every place I've ever been) was a lot of non-functioning machnes. Even then, though, I never had to wait. read more
