I do take good care of of the carpet, but nothing can save it from my large dog that insists on rolling in the red dirt of the East Mountains. We love him, so we get the carpets cleaned . I called on Monday and they scheduled me for Thursday. They arrived on time, talked through their process, and got to work. They moved my small furniture with no issue. I'm absolutely thrilled about COIT. I sent a message through Yelp to get an estimate because of their high reviews. They responded the same day and gave me an estimate after I provided a description and measurements of what carpet I was having cleaned. Johnathon was the guy that came out to do the work and he was fabulous. He was kind and really explained how he was cleaning my carpets. He first looked for pet stains for me because I have dogs. He lifted and cleaned under most furniture and put styrofoam blocks under the legs. My carpets look wonderful now! They look like they are brand new. I have had other carpet cleaners out in the past and they don't even compare to what my carpets look like now and they also didn't move any furniture at all and were even more expensive! There was one small spot by my couch that dried a bit spotty so I sent COIT a message again and they had Jonathan back out the next day to touch it up. To start off the customer service was terrible. We got our carpets cleaned on monday, the guy came in, gave us our quote and right away told us that one of our rooms should just be ripped out because the cleaning they do wouldn't get it up to par, fine we go ahead and go forth with not getting the room done and getting our stairs, loft and hallway done. The stairs were left still black all along the corners and he didn't even try to clean the sides of the stairs like other carpet cleaner services normally would. Fast forward to wednesday, we decided to get the master bedroom shampooed after all until we can pull the carpet out and they told us that they would come back out and call it finishing a previous job plus we had an extra 30% off our next job from the last guy that did the job on monday. They didn't honor either of them. Still charged us $139.99 plus tax for ONE ROOM even though it was "finishing the job". We had pet stains so we asked for the pet enzyme and all the extras which was an extra $50 just for him to spray it in one spot when we clearly said we needed the entire room. To top it off the room smells even worse than before and looks the same when it started. I would never use this company again. We had 2 different guys come out, the first guy didn't even know how to talk to us and the second guy was rude and acted like he didn't want our business. Blame dad. According to him, anything could be fixed with duct tape. And that's the way he fixed things. Anything. Busted water line? Duct tape. Rip in the banana slide? Duct tape. Marital issues? Duct tape. Hence, all of those basics that boys are supposed to learn on the road to manhood, I didn't learn 'em. Dad gave me a roll of duct tape and a pack of condoms and said Good Luck. Hey, at least the latter proved useful. I digress. But nah, I don't. As a homebuyer, I didn't know anything about the upkeep of my abode -- a decade ago -- and I've been learning ever since, thanks internets. I still don't know how to set tile and I certainly didn't know that the ancient tile in my home, which was dirty and ugly and blackened and smudged, could in fact be cleaned. I had no idea. I figured, at some point, I would either need to duct tape the lot of it or completely replace it. During a carpet cleaning I learned that I could, in fact, pay a company to clean the tile and I thought, Hey, dad, is this legit? And then I figured I wouldn't ask. I Yelped the top-rated carpet cleaning biz and found Royal Carpet Cleaning, saw some pictures about their tile cleanings, and called. COIT showed up the next day to provide an estimate (apparently they partner with Royal). They gave me three options, ranging $150-650. I chose the mid-quote, $350. Two days later they sent a guy to do the job. The guy surveyed the tile in my house (about a third is covered) and said it would take him, oh, about 90 minutes. Three hours later he was still scrubbing. Two bathrooms, the kitchen, a hallway, a front room, the guy said my grout was white, so he couldn't fudge it -- every line needed to be scoured. In the end, everything looked brand spankin' new. Everything. I was shocked. This affordable service easily added tremendous value to my home and I'm absolutely blown away. Check out the pictures. Domingo and his partner cleaned out my ventilation ducts and did an excellent job. I've been suffering from allergies since I moved from NYC to ABQ. I've been meaning to have this done, as it's a possible contributor to the problem. The amount of dust they pulled out - which they will show you - is enough to make you wish you'd done it sooner. The woman next door was also very pleased with their floor restoration, I will add. That's how I got in contact with COIT - I just saw their truck outside, talked with them, and they were able to do it same day. Bernadette was very helpful in coordinating it. If you're having your vents cleaned, one word about the furnace filter- do it yourself when they clean out the vents. It's very easy to do. Just get the best one you can (price on the filter varies widely, depending on how fine a particle it can trap). And make extra sure that the filter fits the frame designed to hold it. read more

I had COIT clean the air ducts in my home. The workers were friendly and enthusiastic and they did a decent job, but they kind of made a mess of the house (dust and bits of paint, plaster, and debris everywhere) and seemed a little inexperienced. For example, they made several very elementary mistakes like reinstalling return vent covers upside down or mis-aligning them. Also they showed up about 3 hours later than the time they quoted me. In summary, I think they did an okay job and my air ducts are now somewhat cleaner, but you can probably do better for the same price elsewhere. read more

Once again I had found myself in search of an expertise to which I had no existing connections. I decided to consult Yelp in hope of finding some battle-tested, deep steam cleaning solutions and was not disappointed. I had encountered a few and decided on one by the name of Royal Carpet cleaning that was 17 reviews and 5 stars deep. It now goes by COIT, but I was not deterred. The call-service is phenomenal. I called back, as I tend to do, with follow-up questions after scheduling. "Do you accept card payment, can I add a room when the cleaner is here if it becomes available, what can I do to prep to optimize the process?" I was energetically and courteously answered by the ever-helpful and poised Bernadette with all my questions. Yes, yes to the accepting card and adding a room, and recent vacuuming would maximize efficacy, I was ecstatic to proceed! The cleaner was clear with how much my additional requests would add to the initial quote before proceeding. The cleaner was friendly and helpful when on site. He also clearly noted any problem areas or issues verbally, and cautiously maneuvered my small maze of furniture to access the entirety of the carpet space.
