Rude! Girl that took my husbands order completely messed up our pizza order. He ordered 2 large trays with a coupon. Girl who took order and who rang me up knew she ordered wrong. Instead of 2 trays tried to tell me that my husband ordered 3 trays!! I called my husband while still at counter to get his exact order. He was right he ordered the 2 trays with the coupon. Girl insisted he ordered 3 trays never admitted she was wrong only thing she said was let me get someone to take off the 3rd trays so U don't get charged for it. Guess what?! I wasn't planning on paying for an extra pizza that wasn't ordered in first place!! Poor customer service when your staff can't admit they were wrong and apologize for their mistake by ordering an additional pizza that wasn't even ordered in first place!! Local stop for Italian food and coal fire pizza. Owned by a local family who are very nice and friendly to all who visit. I found it a bit pricey for the food. The bill was almost $90 without tip. We had two alcoholic drinks, two main dishes, a take home pizza, and one shared dessert. We had a nice visit and took home plenty of food for lunch the next day. I was in the mood for some pizza and stopped in at this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Joe was my bartender, and he was very attentive! I started with the carafe of Pinot nior, which was good. I then ordered the Sofia Loren 12-inch pizza with shrimp and spinach. I never had shrimp on a pizza, so I wanted to try it. Pizza was good we got a traditional pie and I had a small side salad with chicken.It was good for a simple order. The service has been decent every visit. What isn't so good is that the hostess was incredibly disorganized obviously doesnt listen to customer request and seats people who came after us were seated before us. I was visiting this past weekend and got 3 different pizzas to go for family dinner. It's exactly what you would think from a "coal fired "pizza place! If you're not familiar with it, you're either going to love it, or you're not going to love it at all. The bottom of the pizza is cooked so well there is zero flop, but there's also a blackened/not burnt bottom to the pizza. The pizza is comparable to New York's style thin, but it is not New York style thin. It is a style all its own. I only had the pizza. This place is legit! The pizza is incredible! The service is always great. And I wish I lived closer to get it more often. I live in Monroe County, and came here for the first time on a date. The Sicilian pizza was very good and would give them a 5 for it. I would return just for their coal fired pizza only. Penne pasta with red sauce was terrible. Very bland and seemed like watered down tomato paste. Had to load it up with parmigiana cheese, salt, and pepper just to get some of it down. Never again.
