I think this is the first Tiger Sugar experience I haven't entirely enjoyed. I've had Tiger Sugar in NYC and other cities, but at this Westminster location, the boba was not good. Too mushy and not very sweet. My friends and I visited in the middle of the day, so it wasn't "end of the day" quality boba. The milk tea was also okay. I'm not sure what happened because I usually like Tiger Sugar. It has been so long since I've visited one and this location isn't up to the Parker location. First off, the place isn't exactly clean. There were milk stains on the trash and dust on the window table. The drinks were not good. I got a strawberry cheese drink and the cheese was like jelly. I was expecting a cheese foam or something like a cheesecake but it was gelatin which was weird. My boyfriend got the milk tea with taro pudding and the taro pudding was super gritty. Convenient location, large selection, the menu is spread out on the counter. The girl helping us was neither helpful, nor unhelpful. We were hoping for inspiration on what to order and she was non-committal. It was fine, but some top selling recommendations would have been appreciated. Yum! Had a late night craving and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered Tiger Sugar was open until 10pm. Our first visit was 5 stars. Drinks were delicious! There were only two other groups so our wait wasn't long at all. I got the Strawberry Mochi (seasonal). It comes with mango jelly and real strawberries and tasted like a fresh strawberry milk. The Mochi is more like a milk pudding almost as it isn't really very chewy but I still enjoyed it. I had a sip of the chocolate malted milk and it tasted just like that so if that's your thing go for it! Mango Sago was also tasty but I wish the mango flavor was stronger! Love Tiger Sugar and I'm so excited that there's one in Westminster! I went yesterday to check it out. It was super cute! Tiger Sugar gets its name from the brown sugar boba syrup drizzled inside the cups to look like tiger stripes. I ordered a black sugar boba + pearl coffee latte with crème mousse and a lychee bursting boba black tea. Both were very good! This is the best brown sugar boba I've had. It's super fresh and tasty! One thing to know about tiger sugar is that they don't offer sweetness and ice level customization on your drinks, like other boba places. The only customization offered is Lactaid milk or soy milk if you're dairy sensitive. All drinks can be made Vegan if you order soy milk and ask to remove the cream top. Most drinks offer L or XL size. I will say the interior is small, and there's not a lot of seating. This is more of an order to-go situation instead of a place to sit and enjoy your drink. Located in a small plaza with few parking spots because of all the nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly, but I felt bad that she was the only one taking orders, making drinks, and preparing food. We waited about 20 minutes for our 2 drinks and 2 orders of popcorn chicken. Husband and I tried their 6B (Black Sugar Mochi Boba with Cheese Cream), Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken, and Chili BBQ Popcorn Chicken. The drinks were $7 each for XL and honestly was disappointing. It wasn't sweet enough for my taste, had this weird grainy texture to it, and there wasn't a hint of cheese cream once you mixed the drink up, which is how Tiger Sugar recommends you consume it. The straws provided were not helpful in consuming the mochi inside the drink either; it kept getting clogged. The boba itself was unfortunately hard in the middle and not chewy. The popcorn chicken was $8 each and although it was flavorful, the portions were small considering the price. I wish they provided sweet chili dipping sauce as well. We'll probably come back at some point to give their other drinks a try, but I won't get my hopes up. read more

We got the matcha milk tea and the classic milk tea with pudding. The classic milk tea is good as always, right amount of sweetness and tenderness to the boba. The milk teas are well balanced, not too watery or heavy. The store was busy but they still did a good job at maintaining the quality of their drinks. One disappointment would be the matcha milk tea - the matcha was a little over powering and left a stronger bitter taste in the mouth. I really wanted to love tiger sugar! All of their drinks looked super delicious and very appealing! The sizes of the drinks are very misleading. Your choice is a L or XL which is basically a medium or large at any other bubble tea shop. The strawberry mochi tasted like your basic strawberry milkshake which was nothing fancy. There was so much mochi and tapioca packed into the cup to the point nothing was coming through the straw. The matcha black tea with creama was also super disappointing, the matcha is super low quality. I looked at the yelp pictures prior to coming here and it's just very misleading. It looked so bright and vibrant and a better quality but what we got tasted like dirt/grass. My son and I are matcha lovers and I felt horrible that my that he did not want it. We did like the passion tea with jelly but did not enjoy the boba. The boba was very under cook. We had to dispose the boba. Overall it just wasn't a great tasting experience. read more

Forgot to take a photo of our drinks but I would definitely recommend! I ordered the passion fruit green tea with boba, mango jelly, and popping boba-- the trifecta. I love that the passion fruit seeds were still in the drink, which is my favorite. Only thing I would say is that the menu selection isn't that big, I've been to some boba places with like 20+ flavors. But the options they do have are "elevated" like with multiple ingredients so I feel like you get something kind of unique here. I was very excited for this location to open up because I was tired of driving all the way to Aurora to get my favorite boba. Let me just tell you that I have been twice and I don't think I'll ever go back to this location. The first time I went there were two people in front of me to order. As one lady was taking orders, another lady was sitting on her phone behind her, and one more lady was in the back behind the curtain just sitting around. You would think that as orders were coming in another person would be fulfilling them, but no... When the lady who was taking the orders finished, she stood around for a little, but then she proceeded to fulfill all the orders while the other ladies stood around and did nothing. Because of this, I had to wait 25 minutes for my drink when there was only about 4 drinks to be made. When I got my drink, there was a ton of grainy sand in my drink that kept getting caught in my throat and making me need to cough. This is something I have never experienced at any Tiger Sugar location. This was not worth the 25 minute wait and poor customer service. Not to mention, it was freezing out and the door was wide open the entire time. I decided to give this location another try a week later hoping they worked out the kinks of the new location, but this second time was far worse... I walk in and the cashier is on a phone call with a big order. She tells them it will be a 15 minute wait. I order my drink and start waiting. The same EXACT thing happened where the cashier went to make all the drinks and the other lady stood around on her phone and watched. When the other lady did make drinks, she would measure and weigh everything and would take out literally one piece of boba if the weight wasn't correct. She was being so slow. She was obviously making the drinks wrong because the cashier and her got in an argument and she dumped out the drinks the other lady was making. A ton of us were already waiting 20 minutes... why not offer the drinks to the people waiting as an apology instead of wasting them. 30 minutes later, the person who placed an order came in and asked when it was going to be ready and they told her they haven't even started the order. She was understandably upset and told them to cancel the order. You don't tell someone their order will be ready in 15 minutes when it's going to take well over half an hour. My favorite part was that one of the ladies dropped about 5 cups on the floor, but proceeded fulfill orders in those same cups. It was very unsanitary and it made me almost walk out. I actually almost walked out when 40 minutes went by and my drink still wasn't out. Come to find out, they were fulfilling a ton of online orders first while there were about 6 walk-in customers just waiting around for almost an hour for one drink. When you only have one person making drinks by themselves while the other employees linger around and stare off into space, orders will not be fulfilled efficiently enough. These employees need to be trained on better customer service, efficiently, teamwork, and how to make the drinks. There's no reason for customers to have to wait almost an hour for a boba drink, for customers to have to experience an argument between the staff, and for customers to be served drinks in unsanitary cups. read more
