I left this location in disbelief around 4:57pm today. I walked out of there after witnessing a young white employee wipe the ice cream spatula on the side of the trash can that's near the sink, rinse it off briefly with water (no soap nothing) and bring it right back to the ice cream cutting board where they prepare the ice cream. There were a lot of flies and the Christmas tree was still out for some reason. The ice cream was ok. I was sad they didn't have butterfinger. My kids noted the dirty bathroom door (I am sure caused from sticky fingers) and windows and most importantly..the family of flies that were circling us. read more

The prices are high at Cold Stone Creamery but the ice cream is absolutely delicious. Most people don't have a clue that what they're being sold at the supermarket isn't real ice cream. It's garbage. It's full of air so you're getting much less than the size of the container it comes in. When it melts it never melts. It turns into a foamy liquid. I don't buy "ice cream" at the supermarket. I go to Cold Stone Creamery. Cold Stone hand packs the ice cream you purchase so you know you're getting a container that's packed down firmly with no air pockets. It's solid ice cream. The quality of the ice cream is excellent and there's a lot of choices when it comes to selecting a flavor. Lots of choices if you decide to choose a few add ons. You pay more but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quality ice cream. I'd just recommend that you visit them during off peak hours. If there are a few people ahead of you it takes a little while to get served. We live in a world where we want everything done fast. It doesn't work that way at Cold Stone. There are so many choice and so many add ons that customers take a little longer to decide what they're going to orde but It's worth the wait. read more

Horrible staff and I mean horrible staff. They invite their friends into the store and give away orders..... When you confront them, they tell you your are out of luck and need to re order. They send you the incorrect size when ordering online. About a $10 difference per person. Just do yourself a favor and do not support this location. It seem as though the employees completed all mobile orders before helping customers in the store; therefore, the line was out the door. I eventually ordered the founder's favorite signature creations (sweet cream ice cream, pecans, brownie, fudge and caramel). I usually prefer family, home-made ice cream shoppes, but I had a birthday coupon for Cold Stone. The mint ice cream with chocolate chips and fudge in a waffle cone was delicious and the hand mix-in process makes the ice cream especially creamy. The scooper had a problem processing the coupon but the other employee, not sure if she was a manger, helped. Both employees were pleasant and hard-working. We enjoyed eating our ice cream outside on a hot summer night. read more

One seemed to be helping herself to ice cream while the other attended to the customers. Mind you, she was also taking orders from planet smoothie. That could be where her poor attitude came from. What a hidden gem..... I never would have ever thought a Cold Stone Creamery would open here... in Holbrook. I'm actually quite pissed off about this. I live in Westwood, and we HAD a Cold Stone Creamery for a few years, and then it just was shuttered. Cold Stone is expensive... my only thought as to why they could open here and stay in business and need to close in Westwood is possibly the cost of rent. Regardless, I still think Cold Stone should reside in my town too. This is the only location I can think of that is not in a large, recently developed shopping center, so that's also an added bonus. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and great service. I hope they last here.... all the other ice cream businesses in this building have really all came and went. The only difference is that when Cold Stone opened they completed nixed the drive thru that was used when this building housed Crescent Ridge and HomeRun. Great ice cream options, including dozens of ice cream cakes as well. The staff were all super friendly. They let us stay in past nine (we had no idea they closed!). Super clean restroom too. I'd highly suggest... with the lack of good ice cream places around, Cold Stone typically does not disappoint and is reliable. I am happy to say that this location definitely supports that. 5 stars. read more

Went here last week for ice cream with my Fiance. Didn't even know it changed to Cold Stone. Actually, was pretty excited that it did. We both got in line I ordered first to some kid who had a massive attitude. He than handed me the ice cream and walked away. I said my fiance wanted one, too. So he automatically assumed he wanted the same exact one as me and when he started making it I stopped him and said we don't want the same kind that he wanted something totally different. That's when he really got pissed and was huffing and puffing. The place was fairly busy for a late afternoon. The people in front of me were getting yelled at for picking a picture not an actually named item. The entire time we were there a good 15ish minutes they had the music cranked to rap music with swears, racist comments and things you don't want children to hear. They could have cared less. There were at least 4-5 kids under 8 in there. Someone needs to pay attention what's going on in this place. Rude employees and they surely don't care either. read more

Worst experience ever!! There were 5 employees in the store. When I walked in there were 3 groups inside. I got into the line. Only one of the 5 employees was helping walk in customers, one was slowly stocking the fridge and the other 3 were working on mobile orders. I waited over 45 mins before my group even began to order. This place never has enough workers. Every time I come in it's a half hour wait and they never have more than two people. Two people to take phone calls and online orders and the line that's waiting.....Every other cold stone seems to have enough workers it's justice us place and has been going on for two years. First the staff tonight were amazing young people. There were 3 of them. Tonight's temps were up there and my husband I treated ourselves with a trip t9 get ice cream. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes. At one point while we were outside , my husband counted 47 people in line. I am not kidding. Inside I think I counted 13. What was frustrating was many people were order online while in line to expedite their orders. The staff had to lock the doors 30 minutes before closing because there were too many people. The staff appeared to be new. Turns out the manager refuses to work at night and if she is on at any point, she stays away from the front. It was said by one customer the manager refuses to work at night so instead these inexperienced kids are left on their own. When one of the staff member asked if they cut cut off the online orders, the response was no from the manager as they were blamed for how they were managing things. The amount of customers that were true turned away or just gave up was shocking. An ice cream spot on a hot summer night should be all hands on deck. There is no excuse. For the prices they charge, the service should be amazing but these poor kids are set up to fail. I blame the poor management and obviously the owner is not staying close to his or her investment. The product is amazing but after tonight's experience, I am not looking to repeat something similar anytime soon. read more
