1star because unable to give zero. Very disappointed to find out their "many" soft serve flavors are just vanilla soft serve poured into a cup then re-whipped with flavor syrups and other stuff. Picked up a couple Raspberry Lime Rickies and a Cotton Candy Ice Cream with Cotton Candy Sprinkles, I'll call it a Cotton Candy Squared. Service was excellent, fast, and friendly. The Raspberry Lime Rickey was yummy and the best one I've had today. I've been told that that the ice cream was really good too. Stop in if you're in the area, it's kind of tucked into the corner in the plaza so it might take some looking to find it but it's worth the search. read more

Today was my second time at this location and I'm pleased to say that all safety precautions due to COVID-19 were taken. I am very pleased. My little brother and I met Mackenzie today who helped us with our order. The place was slightly busy as people came in groups but she took her time with us and I did not feel rushed at all. I had all my ice cream to-go and she even checked on out of seasoned flavors for me as well. What captivated me is even though it was 90 degrees out and Mackenzie was clearly sunburnt, she was literally a ray of sunshine. She was cheerful, super positive and happy. She said " you just all got to be happy". It genuinely made my day. Ice Cream Flavors: My new favorite flavors are strawberry cheesecake and graham central. I added caramel on top of the graham central and got a pint of the strawberry cheesecake as this is my second time having it, it was my first for graham central and I like it too. I am not an expert in restaurants, but that dirt or black stuff around the ice cream is not normal. I don't know if its dirt or mold but I do know its only there because this place doesn't get cleaned! GROSS! Loud music is nice when you have a GOOD AUDIO SYSTEM. When you have crappy speakers, loud music sucks. This place has loud non-curated music. Why a business owner doesn't have specific music in this day in age is beyond me. That shows you they run the business without a standard operating procedure. The stickers and tape all over the place. The dirty windows. And to top it all off, the two workers on cell phones. Dels Lemonade- or is it Daddys Lemonade or whatever. They say its Dels Lemonade but I have never tasted it like that. Almost like it was diluted with unfiltered tap water. Back to the display cases of ice cream. If that's the way they clean things customers see... well... I don't want to go back to see what we don't know. I came in after having lunch next door and I'm glad I did. I had almond joy ice cream with hot fudge and it was suuuuper tasty. They had so many flavors and options it was hard to choose. I loved how clean the restaurant was, the floor wasn't dirty and the tables weren't sticky. The prices were reasonable and the quality blows Baskin Robins and Cold Stone out of the water. They sell a novel ice cream product "Tipsy Scoop" in to go pints, which I didn't try but piques my interest. My favorite thing in the shop though was the little historical timeline of ice cream. The only reason I did not give Daddy's 5 stars is because their spoons suck. The plastic spoons bend and make it hard to eat the ice cream. read more

This summer I must have been there 20 times. Local and good ice cream Today I watched and video tapped them Spraying down the glass covers to the freezers and the windex getting sprayed all over the ice cream. Kids safe to eat the windex ?? As I spoke to the girl and told her this is not safe and the board of health would shut it down and make them toss all that ice cream away. She told me I know I don't know why the manager tells us to clean like this !!!!!!! Daddy, why oh why, did you have to open a location right across the street from my office?? Ice cream and Starbucks are my guilty pleasures, now conveniently located across from each other, and as of this summer, it's evident by my waistline! The location is bigger than the Randolph and Stoughton locations and there is lots of parking available. Sometimes I park as far away as I can so I can justify the calories consumed versus burned by walking back with ice cream. The staff here is awesome and just so friendly! Want to know why I really like Daddy's? They are genuinely invested in the community. Even something as simple as "Stonehill" black and purple sprinkles showing school spirit and hosting ice cream outings for the local little league shows their involvement. My husband and I are frequent visitors of the Daddy's Dairy in Stoughton, so when they opened their new location in Brockton/Easton we had to check it out! And just like their other locations-- they have so many Ice Cream, Soft Serve, Frozen Yogurt and Lactose Free flavors to chose from its dizzying! Every time we bring friends with us they just stand and stare at the menu of the 175+ flavors. I tend to stick with the same flavors (soft serve Oreo...soft serve black raspberry/vanilla swirl) and my husband has tried every single caramel or marshmallow comination possible...and its always delicious. When friends come with us, they always love what they get, and want to come back with us again. They also have other treats...slush, ice cream cookies, ice cream cakes... The new location is bigger than Stoughton and Randolph, and just a bright and welcoming-- plus there is plenty of parking, and its easy to get to. This new location has more freezers out so you can see more of the hard ice cream/frozen yogurt flavors that they have which is helpful. The staff there is always friendly and helpful-- and always a good resource when you cant decide on a flavor... which happens a lot. The Stoughton location is closer to us, but since the new location is just a short drive down 138, we have been going to this new location more, and discovering a ton of good restaurants in that area as well! Which is even more of an excuse to get ice cream after dinner! I've been here a handful of times and it's one of my favorite ice cream shops around. I had an opportunity to bring a few friends for their first Daddy's dairy experience. I kept telling them about the tipsy scoops only to walk in and find 3 lonley pints in the freezer I honestly thought it was broken. Daddy's Dairy is just so great. I'm so jealous of this place now, because down where I live, I have nothing that compares. The closest place to my house is Bubbling Brook, which is great for food, but has extremely long lines for ice cream, and doesn't have great prices or flavoring options. Daddy's has over 200 flavors (that is so cool!) of soft serve, and a large variety of hard ice creams as well. What the difference between the Brockton Daddy's location and the Stoughton one is the interior. Don't get me wrong, their new location they are opening in Braintree (why in the world don't they open down by me in Westwood!!!!) is going to be the best; however, for now, this location is large, bright, and full of energy (unlike the dark, tiny one in Stoughton). Ice cream is delectable and staff are friendly here too! I would definitely come back and would definitely drive the extra 15 minutes to avoid the Stoughton location (wasn't bad at all.... but with this location, that's ridiculously better, simply, why bother?). 5 stars for Daddy's in Brockton. read more

If it were simply up to the ice cream I would give them 5 stars because the actual ice cream itself is delicious. I often enjoy getting a brownie sundae but I don't like my sundae in a cup. It makes a pretty big mess and I like to have a piece of my brownie in every bite. They have bowls where the sundaes could be placed and where it would be easier for me to enjoy my ice cream, but when I ask to have my sundae in a bowl they make a HUGE deal about it. So I ask for everything separately so when I get home I could put it in a bowl and enjoy. I don't understand what's the big deal about me asking to have my sundae in a bowl instead of a long cup. Some of the girls here also under scoop and some of the girls here sometimes have a big attitude. So when I'm in the mood for Daddy's dairy I avoid the Brockton location. So much drama for just an ice cream place smh. read more

So far this place seems great. A large number of hard ice cream flavors and what looks like about 100 flavors of soft serve. Plus ice cream cakes, Del's lemonade and Ronnie's slush. The quality of the hard ice cream was very good. I got the milky way flavor and it was delicious! Only reason I would possibly ever make a point to go here is to buy the ice cream that has the alcohol in it. Pretty sure they still offer it in the pints as long as you have a valid ID over 21. Other than that to me there is nothing special to get ice cream here. I prefer the ice cream places that are small family owned, that make their own flavors and ice creams and soft serves. I always order a small cup wherever I go and usually pay like $4 tops for small cup and they always pack it with so much I can never finish it but a small here I ate it all with no issue and still could've had more before that to much ice cream belly ache kicked in. I think it was a little more expensive than what usually I pay at small places I'm not to sure but I know our whole total order was a good $10 more than we usually spend. Typically other places for our family four we pay total about $15 with tip. Here we managed to spend $27. I know they currently are doing the kits that cost about $20 which still seems bit much to me since you get one pint and like a choice of 2 or 3 toppings they put in small cups and then like 2 bowls and 2 cones I'm not to sure but other places that have walk up windows are open and they serve huge portions for cheap. This can be an okay place during off season since most places aren't open all year round or if you want to go someplace for ice cream with the family where you can actually sit down inside etc. but if your the type that likes to get it and go or get it and enjoy it outside I'd choose so many other places to go even DQ. read more
