My faith has been restored!!! I had a bad experience with my ice cream order in a cold stone creamy in Amarillo, Tx. I was feeling that the quality of cold stone creamy was going down hill. I deciding to try another location and I was not disappointed! DJ at the location on University avenue in Lubbock, Tx is the man!! This guy takes pride in his work! I requested a Chocolate Devotion and I got a splendid desert worthy of the name! Every bite had brownies, fudge, chocolate chips and pecan (yup, I had pecans added)! Hubby & I wanted ice cream but I wanted to try something different besides Marble Slab all the time. We walked in and the line was extremely long. There was only one girl behind the counter as the cashier and taking/making orders. The couple in front of us left before it was even their turn. There was a scoop with the handle left in the bottom of an ice cream tub which was not empty. When we told her our order, she was not very comprehensive as she asked us twice what we wanted again. We both wanted ours mixed, him with a different flavor, mine with sprinkles and as you can see in the picture she didn't mix it at all. On top of that, the slab she mixed on was not clean, it had residue of the ice cream she had mixed before. My husband had bits of peanuts in his strawberry & cotton candy ice cream! I specifically asked about if you have vanilla bean ice cream. gentleman said no, I said its on your website. He said SO. we have no control over the website! I asked if you had vanilla chocolate chip? no we don't we are independently operated from the website. Is this the customer services you are offering. store number 21256 I asked him if he had Rocky Road. his reply was we can make it. I also got a pint of French vanilla So two pints and $20.00 dollars later horrible customer service. if you're not going to follow your company website I suggest you take off what's on there. I traveled a hour and a half to get this cake and all the manager had to offer was $12 dollars for the 26 I spent . So I ended up having to dispute the charges and throw the damn cake away . Walked in and Rylee T. approached me by asking "what do you want?" Then I proceeded to order my chocolate ice cream mixed with chocolate chips and brownies and she didn't even bother to mix anything. Decide to write a review and see a 2-1/2 star rating and am seriously not surprised. A hot day and a long line - no surprise! I'm not complaining about that - it was expected. However, you have 3 people in uniform and either the owner or a manager on deck -- 1 is sweeping, 1 is making cakes, 1 is in the back and ONE is waiting on the long line. Wife and I took our granddaughter there. They love Cold Stone Creamery. I'm not a big fan. They loved the ice cream. The store, in my opinion, was VERY VERY dirty. Back counters, front counters, the tables, the floors. Everywhere was dirty. I would try to avoid this location. read more

Omg really???? It's Monday and they arent open. They never have the ingrediants to make anything on the menu what they do substitute for something not even remotely close to the missing item they charge you full price. After craving coldstone for a week we arrived at this particular coldstone around 9:15 PM. I do not have coldstone in my hometown so I was excited to dominate this tasty treat. As we pulled up we noticed the open sign was off. This was strange because the store hours stated they were open till 10. As we went to open the door we confirmed that the open sign was off for a reason. We stood outside peering into the store when a large female employee emerged from the back. She acknowledged our quizzical looks as she came to the front to change the garbage bag she shook her head and mouthed sorry. She was not indeed sorry because she gave no explanation nor compensation for our loss. Needless to say I will be back tomorrow for my cold stone, but the night was ruined by the female employee who showed a lack of concern for our dissatisfied sweet tooths. read more
