Came in at around 9:45pm and had a bad experience. We ordered two Oreo specific ice creams that were mixed on old ice cream.... We got our ice cream and wanted to sit and enjoy it in the store... which by the way was empty... but could not because the tables were filled with literal trash. Decided to eat in the car due to the filthy tables and discovered that our Oreo blast had a half an Oreo???? multiple spoon fulls of just vanilla and some blue coloring in it due to dirty scoops and the dirty mixing table. I thought for $7 I would get a lot more Oreos... and then upon eating our Oreo mint ice cream that one only had one Oreo in it total???? Lastly we ordered a medium and small and received two smalls. Probably shouldn't have kids running the place and you should probably do some cleaning. Won't be returning to this location. read more

So After a bit of daytime swimming I decided to take my Mini Me for sum sweets. Choices were a 3 Milkys slice of cake from Cardenas (soo good) or Cold Stones. He never tried Cold Stones his mama says it's Boughie so I said whatever. Let's go...... So here we are soo much on the menu to choose from plus we got these dumbass masks on looking like confused robber or sumthin. Then out of no where this Angel of a girl ask us how can she help us. Needless to say she was well informed and ask my man what he'd like. He told her and presto she made it for him. It was a custom with all kinds stuff.He loved it. Mine was the Cake batter batter batter batter swing or sumthin like that. Excellent. Place is clean, kids are sharp and friendly nice atmosphere. I haven't been to Cold Stone in over 10 years but I received a coupon for a free "like it" with one mix in and decided to take my 5 year old daughter who has never been and LOVES ice cream. Upon entering this establishment at about 6 pm on Sunday, June 12, I noticed it was very hot inside. Maybe the air conditioner wasn't working?! Despite how hot it was inside, I figured this wouldn't affect the ice cream since it's in a display cooler that keeps the ice cream cold...or so I thought. My daughter decided on the Oreo Crème ice cream and wanted Oreos as the mix in. The lady handed us the completed creation and it was already melting. I didn't say anything because I had a coupon and didn't feel right knowing I was going to get it for free. Went to the register to provide my coupon while my daughter sat down with my husband to eat her ice cream. I was sticker shocked!! $7 for melted ice cream?! Thankfully I had a coupon, I would never pay $7 for what we received. Went over with my husband and daughter and I noticed at this point the ice cream is even more melted (it hasn't even been more than 3 minutes since it was made). So maybe the air conditioner and ice cream display cooler is also not working?! I took a bite of the ice cream and hardly any Oreo despite it being the Oreo Crème with ADDED Oreos. Lol what a joke. I decided at this point a review needs to be made to warn others who are paying for this. I would go somewhere else, you will get better ice cream that is not melted upon being handed it and for far less than what this place is charging. We won't be back that's for sure. read more

Just terrible. It's worth driving down to the Winchester location. Bad enough GH charged $10 to get this and it not even be good. This location has been going downhill for ages. Just a different feel from all the other's... walked in around 10pm with my family. It started to get a little busy. There was only one girl doing her thing helping customers...she was nice by the way. By then more people coming in.. line starting to get longer. Still only one girl! Then a older couple in plane close walk in and into the back...they asked the one girl working the front " were is everyone?? She said " I don't know" So she goes to the back. You see now a young guy come out then one more girl. The older couple.. maybe owners? Does not once say someone will be with you..or make eye contact with customers. She started cleaning the back counter area and kinda arguing with the young guy..All this while the one girl is doing her best to get people served. The other young girl now putting her hair up in a pony tail in the door way from the back were everyone can see her. Granted, there's also a walmart across the street, but I'm thinking that business isn't as good as it can potentially be. Every time I come here, I'm the only customer so you can forget about them singing a song when I leave a tip. I'm not sure if they get any business from Unique Pizza or Chuy's, considering both places offer dessert. The guy with the rainbow colored hair is a complete A-HOLE and the fact that he HATES his job shows immediately as you walk in. I was helped by an older gentleman with glasses who was very sweet. He came out to help the rainbow haired guy as it got busy and the rainbow guy immediately dipped and went on a break. When the older guy said he wasn't finished with something in the back and can he please come help customers, the rainbow guy gave a dirty look and shouted at him that he was taking a break. When the older gentleman a few minutes later asked about something else, the rainbow guy started shouting they were OUT of it. He also asked him about something personal (I think it was gummy bears?) and rainbow went on a long LOUD rant. "THEY'RE GONE. I ATE THEM. I DON'T BRING THEM FOR EVERYONE ELSE!" Dude was SO unprofessional and rude as hell to the other guy. If the guy with the glasses is the manager, he needs to FIRE HIS ASS. I get that customer service jobs sometimes SUCK, but DAMN. I will never go here again. I just got home from possibly the worst experience at any place, ever! First, when we walked in I asked if I could get some samples of the flavors and the girl said "sure!" But had no spoons so went and got *one* spoon from the back... I was with my brother so we only got to try one flavor, what the heck? But I saw a group of girl scouts in the back room and thought "ok, this girl is probably just very busy and overwhelmed." Then, I asked her if I could get the small cup with two scoops- one cake batter and one cotton candy. She said yes and preceded to get the scoops ready. I was going to ask if I could get white chocolate chips mixed into the cake batter scoop, but she had already mixed the two scoops together!! What the heck? And to add to that, she only gave me a KIDS cup?! So when she started making my brothers ice cream, I was already annoyed. He asked for chocolate chips and gummy bears in his ice cream and she said "sorry! We're all out of gummy bears!" When we could see a bag of gummy bears in the container! So she gave him just chocolate chips with his ice cream in a kids cup as well. Lastly, I asked for a cup of just plain cake batter (for my boyfriend) and she also put that in a kids cup. I really wouldn't mind the part of the kids cups if she hadn't charged me $11.58 for the three of them!! On their menu it says kids cups are 1.99 and regular small cups are 3.49 (for a mix in it is 3.99) So all together I got 3 (SMALL) scoops of ice cream for almost $12!! What a rip off! When I got to the car I checked my receipt and it said the price, but did not say what I bought. SO I have no clue what I was even charged for!! But was not about to go back in there and wait in line, especially since all the girl scouts were standing outside in front of the door. Will definitely be calling corporate and be asking for a refund or something for the $6 she over charged me!! I ordered a cake to be delivered to my nephew to surprise him for his 5th birthday today since we weren't able to gather and celebrate. I originally ordered an 8-inch Cookies and Creamery cake, but John called me to let me know they did not have that cake or an 8 inch size available - which was absolutely okay with me because I ordered super last minute! John let me know he could put together a 6inch and throw in a tub of Oreo ice cream - really awesome of him! Customer service is a 10/10!!! The 6 inch cake that was delivered (totally forgot the name) had a layer of brownie, chocolate ice cream, Oreos, and sweet cream ice cream, and my nephew and his family absolutely LOVED IT!!! He was so excited when it got delivered, and he was speechless when he opened up the bag with the cake and ice cream. After my last rant about Coldstone Creamery on Winchester ( outside the Promenade Mall), I happened to call the one on Madison in Murrieta even though their hours of operation aren't posted. First off, the tone, demeanor and energy in this employee's voice was a welcome change from the gal I spoke to on Winchester, Not only did he answer with a smile and a proper greeting, if I were the owner of the store I'd want to clone him just based on enthusiasm. I've ran several customer service businesses, and one thing that I always let my employees know that even if its a few minutes after closing time, or you are in uniform, you are still the brand ambassador for whomever you work for. I called my husband, sent him to that store and made sure he put a little extra green in the tip jar. :) read more

MAJOR customer service issue! I called and politely let one of the workers know that last night, when my friends and I were in there, that they had shorted me on cash back. The worker then kept cutting me off and abruptly threw the phone down to yell to his coworker in the back, "didn't you work last night" "you accidentally shorted this lady on cash, do you want to talk to her" and then his other female co-worker loudly answered "no, not really". Not the cleanest place i have been to. Lots of flys flying around in the store and I noticed them crawling around on the waffle cones and I mentioned it to the girl and she only discarded the one. Went here today, Tuesday, May 22nd at 1:50pm. The lady that was working today was terrible. I usually encounter a different worker who is super Nice (a tall guy who's always pleasant). Went here yesterday and used apple pay, everything was all good and I went on my merry way. Today I asked the lady working if their apple pay is working. She looked at me like I was stupid. I explained I went there yesterday and used it just fine. She says "Oh, Apple pay is down today." without even checking, probably just so she doesn't have to do work. Ordered 3 items on door dash for my 3 kids, only recieved 2 items. When I called the location to inform them of the missing item the girl who answered the phone was incredibly rude. She actually told me straight out that "she doesn't recommend door dash because their store gets really busy and it's really common for them to forget items so they usually write peoples name on the board for missing items" what the heck? Disconnect your DoorDash service then if you can't figure it out. I'm very upset and what was supposed to be a nice treat for the kids to end the week, turned into a big disappointment. The workers acknowledged that the freezers were going when I commented on how they cut through the ice like butter! So gross, we are going somewhere else.
