Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip Creation

I have zero complaints! Service was quick & friendly, & the Mint Chocolate Chip Creation was delicious & perfect for a hot Orlando day.

Nice dessert place with great ice cream and toppings selections. They prepare your order with the cold stone right in front of you. Noice. Expect some short lines to wait for 10-15min, which is fine for dessert. Recommended.

This place is very nice. In universal city walk, I think there's no other place with good ice cream like here. And the best is it's fully customizable. You start by selecting the size. There is many there's even 2 bring it home container which is very nice. Once the size is selected, you choose which flavor of icecream you want. There's a lot of choice. Then, you add the toppings you want mixed in it. In short, think like if you were at the store buying ice cream. There's vanilla and chocolate, but also vanilla with m&m, chocolate with brownies. Well here, you create those mixes. The basic one come with 1 include topping. You pay about $1 for each topping.

As of November 2020, they don't have the "like it" cup BUT they have to-go "mine" and "ours" containers (not sure if this is a pre-covid thing but I was pretty surprised)!!! It was a pretty easy process to get our deliciousness and it was nice that they had 6ft distancing markers on the floor. Can't go wrong with your choice-- they're always delicious. I always prefer the signature creations that have cake batter or cookie dough in them. And I always think that I want a "gotta have it" but end up getting the "love it" with NO REGRETS. Man, these get you so full.

Had a great experience here! CJ made our delicious ice creams which my kids called the "chop chop fold fold" We choose cotton candy and cake batter with add ins gummy bears and white Chocolate chips, the portion was huge and CJ did a few tricks that really entertained my kids! Thank you!

So good! This is where we first tried cold stone ice cream and fell in love! Staff was super friendly and patient whilst we chose what we wanted and of course the ice cream tasted great. It would be great if there was additional seating as there are only 3 or 4 tables available, but that wasn't a big deal.

Another staple I was able to eat in a long time while I was in universal Orlando. Once att win I ate this a lot when I was in jersey years ago. Found this place while in universal Orlando. Had to get it. I ordered the birthday cake with waffle in a cup. It is such a good icecream. I wish they would open some in austin Tx. Hopefully soon. Icecream was great and service was outstanding as well. Love this place.

By far, my favorite dessert has always been ice cream. And Cold Stone Creamery delivers when it comes to flavor & quality. Not to mention that this location manages to be efficient with wait times, considering their proximity to the parks. Will be back!

Cold stone is a reliable brand to get your ice cream fix but beware if you want that mix in experience you pay extra for it. Staff didn't greet us and we couldn't tell where to order so that took a bit to decipher but after that we were granted a few samples to find our flavor choices. I would say there were about 20 options with 1 topping give for "free" per person. My lemon sorbet scoopbwas refreshing and good. My family all enjoyed waffle cones. Fairly expensive but you know what to expect here.

    What we expected!

We love visiting Cold Stone for a creamy treat and for the last 2 years have purchased a birthday cake for our daughter's birthday. Last year it was a Barbie cake and it was phenomenal. When this birthday came, without hesitation I ordered a cheesecake named desire for our daughter's birthday celebration. I went on line and placed the order with a good experience but the cake we got was not the one we ordered and not at all worth the $40 we spent. The other disappointment was the disregard for what we asked to have written on the cake. I asked for the cake to say "Happy 20th Anna" . The cake was asymmetrical it looked like it had fallen. The cake did not look like the image online. I plan to post this on line as a caution to other consumers, inconsistent quality and poor customer service. The young man who gave me the cake was working alone and unable to attend to online orders that have a separate no waiting line that no one could attend to. This was a disappointment.

Okay so let's start off with the good - very cool place, great addition to Orlando. Love the decor,…read moreworker was nice and let us sample, ice cream was delicious! Now the reason for the -1 star. First, its mills and the parking on a Tuesday was rough. This is a general issue, not specific to them but we had to drive around the lot for 10 minutes, then we decided to leave and look elsewhere ended up having to walk a decent amount. It was frustrating and inconvenient if you're meeting with others. Second, I'm kind of confused as to why if someone is ordering a normal scoop or soft serve we have to get a number and wait, I've never seen an ice cream place do that. I totally understand for speciality items but was a little surprised for ours - the place was packed so a lot of people were standing around waiting with their numbers. Overall it hit the spot and in my opinion was worth the hype; just make sure you're not in a rush!

Craving the soft serve here and wanting to try the UBE…read more They offer samples of the custards if you are not sure which to get. I sampled the vanilla and ube. Both were delicious but the UBE stood out for me. This time it was not as packed and warm temp like it can be at times here. Ordered the Maiko Parfait in Ube : soft-serve with mochi balls, Japanese chestnut, adzuki red beans, sponge cake, corn flake, & agar jelly for $9ish. It was a delicious creamy not too sweet ube soft serve that had a delicious taste of ube. It was bright purple with the yummy-ness of this creamy ube flavor not the flavor im used to in filipino version ice creams. It had the mochi balls and chesnut - Corn flakes, Matcha sponge cake - Red beans, and jelly. I love this dessert. The interesting part of this soft serve - It was slow to melt! It was sturdy enough that when you take your time and enjoy it - It does not melt so fast unlike other soft serves. Would def come back again and get UBE!

Matcha Cafe Maiko is a specialty matcha café focused entirely around Japanese-style matcha desserts…read moreand drinks. We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.

Another good ice cream place to add to my list of favorite places to go in Orlando!…read more The ice cream is a perfect combo of dense, soft, and creamy. From the top of the swirl to the very bottom of the inside of my cone, there was not a single air pocket to be found. I got the chocolate flavored ice cream, and every bite was chocolatey and creamy heaven. Now, if you know your desserts, the cone that is used is usually known as a chimney cake. It is a sweet pastry that is soft on the inside and has a glass-like crunchy exterior that is coated with cinnamon and sugar. It's a little like eating a cruffin, but with a crunchier exterior due to their special way of making it. Definitely worth trying at least once if you've never tried it before. Overall, if you're looking to impress a foodie with something sweet, decadent, and pretty, I'd say give this place a go. The ice cream is as perfect and delicious as you see it.
