Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Caesar Wrap, and Grilled Cheese Sandwich

JoJo's Shake Bar is an upbeat restaurant by International Drive. It's conveniently located in a plaza with lots of things to do, including a watch party, movie theater, and esape room. Their signature seems to be the shakes and smoothies, but I found their food to be surprisingly decent. My group ordered their onion rings, chicken caesar wrap, pop's pot pie, and loaded grilled cheese. The wrap and the loaded grilled cheese came with the waffle fries, which were yummy and crunchy. The onion rings were presented in a stick, which makes for a fun photo. The food was satisfactory, and our server brought out everything pretty quickly. She was warm and welcomed us to Orlando. Not pictured here is the Tropical Green Smoothie that I got to go. The flavors came on too strong and it was too sweet. I'm surprised that this is their signature if they cater more to the meals and the sit-in option. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, with music playing and fun decor. Because of its convenience to the tourist areas, I would say it's a decent spot for eating in, but maybe skip the smoothies and shakes.

Loaded grilled cheese on a gluten free wrap. Fries I believe gluten free as well but check with staff

High hopes for this upbeat restaurant with friendly servers but it wasn't great ... except for the waffle fries. Those were yummy and cooked well. I ordered the loaded grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. The flavors didn't mesh - and somehow a sandwich that should've been flavorful lacked it. I ate half and then stopped. Not appetizing. Other items ordered: chicken tenders, smash burger and hot dog trio. They are known for their elaborate shakes, including some boozy versions. A basic shake starts at $11. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, with music playing and fun decor. It was nice to stop by a spot we don't have in our local city but we wouldn't recommend it.

Was in the mood for a smoothie and found this place within a short walk from hotel. They only had three options on the menu, and one was not available. I selected the Green smoothie which had spinach, carrot, apple, grape, banana and pineapple mixed together. It was okay, spinach flavor was a bit strong. JoJo's clearly caters to those seeking meals and snacks other than a smoothie. And that's cool if that is what you want. But if you want a smoothie there are likely other options nearby.

Food was okay. We came as a large group for my friend's birthday and the restaurant had us do the price per person package. I wish we had a choice to just do food ala carte because by the time the milkshakes came, we were too full to even drink it.

Stopped in for a quick drink and to check this place out with some friends as first timers. First impression visually was the cool artwork and neon signage everywhere. Very cool relaxed vibes here. They had plenty of seating inside and out. It didn't seem busy but then again, we went on a Sunday, early evening. Music from the 80s played while we were there which I thoroughly enjoyed taking me back in time. The server was very friendly and informative. We learned it started in Chicago. I felt the prices were pretty high but I know its comparable to other places. Let's face it, prices have gone up everywhere. Drinks were strong with taste that matched the menu descriptions perfectly. I enjoyed my cocktail which was essentially an old fashioned. My friend ordered the crazy sexy cool cocktail because she wanted an espresso martini. It was very sweet so she ended up ordering a double shot of espresso to add to it which made it more palatable. As for food, I had a cup of chili which was reasonably priced and a friend ordered the wings. She seemed to enjoy them. My chili was just a basic out of a can of beef chili with beans. It hit the spot for me though. I would go back for the atmosphere and drinks.

The best dairy free milkshake! I got a basic strawberry milkshake with oreo mix ins and it was such a great flavor combination. For my meal, I got the nada burger, an impossible burger patty with waffle fries. I also got the "cheese" on the side because I'm not too familiar with vegan cheeses. I'm glad I got it on the side because I did not like the cheese. The patty itself had a really believable burger flavor and char. The one opinion I have about the burger was the amount of liquid sauces they put inside the burger. It was pretty much dripping and sitting in pickle juice. The onion rings were really good too. I prefer a lighter batter on my fried fritters though. I would recommend this place for their shakes!

Very cool place. I walked over from the convention center, west side for lunch. It was a quick 8 minute walk. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I love all the decorations and fun music played the whole time. There was not wait. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and came over as soon as we were seated. I ordered the Smash Burger with a side of waffle fries. It was great. My friend ordered the Turkey Club. Pretty good and enough to take half home for dinner. We really struggled deciding between a shake or hot chocolate. It was a cold day for us Floridians so we decided to order the Cupid's Cocoa from their seasonal menu. YUM! Nothing better than a hot chocolate on a cold day. I was a little worried it could be too sweet. Nothing to worry about. It was perfect. I plan to go for dinner and try one of their fun cocktails.

Came here because my kids were excited to try them out and honestly, the rest of the others restaurants nearby were completely booked with a long wait. The host was super friendly and sat us once a table was ready. My party ordered a bunch of items. The jojo's fries were gross. Just soggy and overly salty. I do not recommend them. The smash burger I ordered was dry and I could have gotten a better burger at a fast food restaurant. Seriously. The grilled cheese sandwich one of the kiddos ordered was literally all bread... he took a bite of one half and didn't eat it. I tried it and it was just so greasy and the bread to cheese ratio was so off. The worst part of all of this was our waitress... Yameen? jasmin? First of all, she came off as annoyed and rude. Fine, maybe she's having a bad night. While taking our order she kept asking what sauces we wanted. So we said ranch. Anyway, throughout the entire dinner, she hardly came by and when she did, she was blatantly rude. We're ready to check out and she goes over the bill with me over her handheld device. I notice all the charges for sauces. We did not eat that many containers of ranch! I asked her what that was for and she said all the sauces we ordered. Look, it's fifty cents, I don't care about paying that. But it's the fact that she just kept asking us what sauces we wanted and then bringing them out. We didn't ask for what, 9 containers of sauce. I told her that and that she should have disclosed the charge for any sauce instead of continuously asking if we wanted more sauce... and she just smirked and shrugged her shoulders. I guess she knew she was getting that automatic 20% "service charge" aka tip so she didn't care to be of any decent service. We will never be back. Do better. I sincerely hope this establishment will address this with Yameen or Jasmin, or whatever her name was. Her attitude and service was a horrible representation of this restaurant.

I FINALLY managed to go to JoJo's Shake Bar after wanting to come here for SO long and it really is exactly what you expect. Be prepared to loosen the purse strings a bit because if there's two people, I can't imagine how you'll manage to spend less than $37-40 after the tip... even if you just get two shakes like my mom and I did... I know, that's insane, I agree. So as much as I absolutely loved it, I will probably not be back, it's a good one and done for me but still worth checking out! We got the Gold Digger Shake and Rocky IV Shake - they are huge, you get a spoon and a thick straw but the straw situation really doesn't work out because of all the stuff in the ice cream / shake, so you kinda need the spoon until it melts a little and even then, eh it's tricky. I am super thankful that they give you a little box because you can take your marshmallow, chocolate, candies, and cookies etc off and eat them later at home if you want. That's very thoughtful and appreciated because it's really just way too much in one sitting, even if you're a big sweets fan like myself. The service was fast, friendly, and the environment is so fun and cute / vibey, great for pictures etc - but it's so pricey for what it is that I understand why this is in the tourist area, it's definitely not a regular every day type stop due to portion size and cost. I still recommend if you're willing to go in knowing that in advance :)

Finally tried this spot on a Saturday night and had a mixed experience. The hostess was rude, but our waitress was actually very attentive. The milkshakes were delicious but came out well before our food arrived. The burgers were just okay. Overall, if you're hanging out at any of the bars around Pointe Orlando or looking for a quick bite, this may be worth a try.

The shakes were great. It looks like they have a fun drink menu as well. The food was just ok. Nothing fabulous. If you're a tourist and want a quick burger and a fun milkshake, this is a good option. If you're a local, it's not worth the drive sorry to say.

    Jazmine B.

We stopped by for some milkshakes and the inside was sooooooo cool. We sat inside for a little and played on the arcade games. It was so much to see, and read. Loved it all. Will be back for food. And the drink Menu ... oh my goodness I may leave the kids just to try those out !!! Server was quick and nice and the drinks came out just as quick !

After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

It does, like most of their locations, get pretty busy, but for the most part, you can usually always find parking. The staff is kind and helpful (when and if needed). I never eat there, but you can if you'd like, as they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your meal. I'm usually not disappointed with the options. The delay is acceptable but it's something the lady at the counter could have set an expectation for as the orders were backed up, but regardless, the overall service was okay-ish. We had the veggie breakfast sandwich, the bacon-egg-and-cheese breakfast croissant sandwich, a medium mocha cappuccino, a medium cafe con leche as well as an order of pan de bono to go. The sandwiches were served pretty promptly and the portion sizes were pretty decent. The lady forgot our to go order for the pan de bono till we asked while waiting for our coffee.
