I couldn't remember why I'd stopped choosing Cold Stone for ice cream over the last few months and instead opted for local, family-owned ice cream shops. It wasn't until this past Tuesday when I stopped in with my toddler to take advantage of their Tuesday Twofer special (two "Like It" sized bowls with one mix-in for $6.50) that I was quickly reminded why I made my decision. Put simply, the ice cream doesn't taste like anything. I ordered my typical, mint ice cream with Oreos mixed in and I promise you the only flavor I tasted was the corner of peanut butter ice cream that had somehow gotten mixed in with the mint inside the cooler. As a quick aside, there need to be some stricter sanitary measures taken because if I'd had an allergy, that would've been a serious problem. As I was saying, the mint ice cream was severely lacking in the flavor department. I didn't know ice cream could disappoint like this, but as a dessert connoisseur, I've got to stick to what I know is good and Cold Stone is not that for me anymore. read more

I am a die hard Cold Stone fan! Always have been. Always will. This location is newer to me since I just moved here, but the times we've gone have been great. My boyfriend and I came here since it's right next door to the movie theater we go to, and got our usual- a Love It Birthday Cake Remix (with EXTRA brownie!) and sat outside to people watch. We couldn't have had a better time. The crew is on the younger side, but they are friendly and quick. All the times I've gone to my old Cold Stone location there were lines to the door; these guys make sure you get your icecream in record time! Plus they blend it perfectly. No melted mess in the car! We went in last night because I received a text stating $3 off $10. my family ordered and when I showed the cashier the text she said it was for online orders only. A man came out and very snotty stated the inside chairs can't be placed outside. We would have been ok with this if he had been professional about telling us. Yummy, fun ice cream creations! I have yet to try all the flavors. The Like It size is fairly big. A Love It could probably feed two people. I'm sure a Gotta Have It is for the whole family right?! I like the Birthday Cake Remix and Oreo Overload creations. The staff here are extremely helpful and patient. Will let you try flavors before choosing one. Fun to watch them mash ice cream. My husband favorite is Strawberry Blond and my favorite is Berry Berry Berry Good and Strawberry Banana Randezvous. My husband ordered one of their icecream cake for the Valentine's day and it turned out to be pretty good too. My husband loves ice cream cake, so for his birthday, I got him a huge Coldstone Creamery ice cream cake from this location. I had a great experience ordering through them. The staff was superbly friendly and gave me helpful advice about transporting and storing the cake. You can order customized ice cream cakes on their website, but you don't get all the options online. I wanted fresh strawberries mixed into the ice cream, so I called the location, and they were very accommodating. They called me on the day of the party to confirm everything, and the cake was done on time, ready to go as scheduled. We had sweet cream ice cream with fresh strawberries and almonds mixed in, and a layer of strawberries and pureed strawberries on top of a layer of yellow cake. The whole thing was frosted in a white buttercream, with fresh strawberries on top. The cake and ice cream were perfect, not too sweet at all (unlike Carvel ice cream cakes, which are sugar-bombs). Everyone at the birthday party (kids and adults alike) enjoyed the cake and couldn't believe it came from a chain store because it tasted so fresh. read more

Been coming to this location for almost 6 years, I ordered like it size and as the kid scooped my sweet cream I thought to myself how little it was. Then he proceeded to putting only one strawberry on it when I asked 'just one?' His answer was: it gets cut in many pieces....did he really say that? Once he finished mixing my ice cream he put it in the container. It didn't even reach the rim and one side, almost 1/4 was empty. That's when I asked why he hasn't even filled up my cup. The staff at this location was very friendly and let me sample a flavor I was interested in. They made some recommendations and got my family our ice cream pretty quickly. I personally am not a huge fan of the actual ice cream at Cold Stone (I think it has a artificial sweeter flavor). I feel that it is nothing special for the price. I love coming to this location. The Ice Cream is always made to order, so you can always pick what you want to make and know it's fresh. This location does get crowed sometimes, so the wait is a little long. The inside is very clean, and there is a outdoor seating area I like to sit at in the evening and eat my Ice Cream. I would not recommend eating outside during lunch or rush hour. There are so many people one time someone bumped into me and I almost ended up dropping my Ice Cream.
