The service was absolutely terrible. The young lady was very rude and not friendly to me and or my children. She threw in peanut butter in my ice cream and put it in to a cone. He was so busy the entire time I was in the store and he did a great job keeping everyone happy and getting everyone served. I was shocked that this location only has one worker. Last night I had a craving for Cold Stone so I did an online order to pick up in store. I arrived just a few minutes after the time it said my order would be ready. The store was relatively busy as it was a Friday night. There were two people working (that I could see). I was acknowledged after the customer ahead of me paid for his order. However, my order was NOT ready. The worker raced to make my order and I noticed her pluck something out of it as she was mixing it. When she put it into the cup, it barely came to the top. She did have my husband's order ready and his also barely reached the top of the cup. She put the lids on, tossed them in a bag with spoons and handed them to me. The bag was all sticky, inside and out. My husband got the Peanut Butter Devotion and told me when he was done that there was no peanut butter in it. Hmm, seems like the name would give away the ingredients. I think the thing she picked out of mine was ice. I kept crunching on ice throughout the whole cup. Not little pieces, either. It was sweet cream ice cream, so it wasn't like it was a random flavor that never gets eaten. This was such a disappointing experience. For the price I paid, I could have gotten 4 tubs of ice cream at Publix and made my own sundae. Cold Stone isn't cheap, but it's usually worth the price. Not this time. This was the Cold Stone in the Pavilion in Port Orange. Bummer. read more

For example, if you come after seeing a movie and show your movie receipt, there is a discount. Smart marketing, if you ask me. Plus, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I think the manager does a great job of hiring persons with good customer service skills. I've never had rude service. I like the menu and for a chain, it's pretty good! Just received a delivery order for 4 people. 2 were correct, 1 was missing mix-ins and one was totally wrong. Disappointing....

We drove 40 minutes to arrive to closed doors at 2:33pm. Sign said they were open from 2pm- 8 and we were confronted by someone from inside who was very rude and said "sorry we are out of supplies so we are closing". A lady who came 5 mins prior to us was served and said that he was rude to her as well and the only thing that they were out of was napkins. Terrible customer service. Terribly run establishment. I ordered a custom cake online several days before pick up. On the order form I specifically requested red icing for the birthday message. When I arrived they only had one employee working so I had to wait over 30 minutes for assistance. The employee brought out the cake and said "we only have pink icing so here you go". Not only was it the wrong color(and not really the appropriate color for my boyfriends birthday) the hand writing also looked terrible and wasn't even centered. There were several days for them to inform me of the shop only having one color of icing but no one ever reached out to me to see if I wanted to continue with the order. When I complained to the employee she told me I should have ordered from the shop in Daytona Beach because they do a better job -_- the only solution she offered was grabbing a plain cake from the freezer, which I personally thought was pointless at that point. I was obviously upset I was charged for a half as*ed cake, so I called the manager to try to at least get a partial refund but they never answered or returned my call. After I submitted a formal complaint on the corporate website the store manager finally called and offered nothing but excuses as to why I shouldn't have "expected a perfect cake". She even admitted that the cake I ordered was prepared last minute because that's "what they do with cakes". I again requested at least a partial refund, she said she had to speak with the store owner. She called me a day later to say the store owner could only offer me a percentage off the next cake I order. Like I'd ever want to order anything from their shop again I definitely don't recommend this place If you want a nice ice cream cake or good service. read more

THE BEST ICE CREAM in the area-(and you'll be thanking me) is NEIGHBORS GENERAL STORE (they even make Homemade Marshmallows for their Rocky Road) Homemade marshmallows taste amazing for the record! And you get MORE-- HIGHER QUALITY ice cream for your dollar. The Flavors are also more unique and ever changing at Neighbors. THE BEST ICE CREAM in the area is DEFINITELY NOT COLD STONE CREAMERY--it's the cheapest quality ice cream that you can get but they charge you as though it weren't. The 2nd best Ice Cream place is Ritter's Frozen Custard who offers a much more unique, outdoor experience than in the middle of The Pavilion at Cold Stone. The ice cream at COLD STONE wasn't memorable--and it was your basic high fat-low quality ice cream that they've become known for. Drive a few miles and get some ice cream that will be worth the price. I won't be back. read more

Ok 1st of all today is my sons birthday and I ordered him a cake from here and had him to pick it up because I'm in S.C .... anyway I was having something written on the cake as well a special message for him. So he picks up the cake and the guy handed it to him and said ohhhhhh we were supposed to write something on it do you still want that?! Of course he said noooo because its was his cake but it was supposed to be a surprise from me.... If you have any kind of household budget and especially if you have children, this is NOT the place to take them! OMG...$6.79 for a small cup of ice cream? I could have purchased an entire gallon of ice cream for less than that. I purchased the "Like it" which was their smallest size. To the basic price they add the Port Orange Pavillion Infrastructure Fee (which I think is a travesty that businesses in this shopping center are allowed to charge that fee to begin with!) and THEN THEN THEN they add a TIP!!!! Without telling you! The tip was just over 15%. It's almost an extra dollar added on just for the Infrastructure Fee and the Tip. The ice cream was fine but nothing special. I did have a problem with receiving the wrong cake in error but when I called to inform them, I was told a manager would call me back and within 5 minutes, i did receive the call. The manager stated he would give me a replacement cake at my convenience. I left a message today for the manager and received the call back within minutes. I ordered my replacement cake without a hitch. Great customer service!! I thanked the manager and asked his name Popeye was his name :) Not easy to forget. Ok so Cold Stone is located in the Port Orange Pavillon and its within walking distance of our Regal Theater. My favorite stores are HomeGoods,Rue 21,Maurice's,Ulta,Payless,GNC,Sally Beauty Supply,Kula Yoga,Pita Pit & Chuck E Cheese!! I have s blast at Chuck E Cheese with the kiddos so hate all you want! There's quite a few more but those are my top choices. Ok so yeah I know this is supposed to be about my ice cream experience but if I had to choose whether to shop or eat ice cream,I would shop lol! Cold Stone is wedged into a small space but still provides a couple very small tables insides and some non shaded concrete tables outside. It's always been clean and customer service has always been good enough(just give me my ice cream and no one gets hurt)!! Nothing fancy except the prices but it gets the job done while giving you access to quite a few stores and my absolute favorite MOVIE THEATER!! There is also a small recess area over by Cold Stone as well. It's actually a couple stores down by Malibu Beach Grill but they have outdoor seating within a close proximity so you can grab a drink while your kids play with some strangers kids lol. Wow this review was allover the place but when it comes to ice cream,it's important to know what your options are. When I think of ice cream,I think of shaded seating on a sunny day,date night at the movies or having a lazy day with the kids! If you're just looking for a more authentic ice cream experience w/o all the distractions then like I said before,Ritters Custard is a better fit but also look into Neighbors General Store as well! Well I love Cold Stone Creamery and just had to have it!!! I was so excited to go but when we arrive I'm greeted by a 6'4 MISERABLE Employee who says he's worked there for 13 years!!! He was very unpleasant and less than friendly!!! He barely mixed up my ice cream ( unlike they normally do) and then rushed us out the door after I did my best to exchange pleasant conversation. The ice cream was less than desirable and the 13 year employee needs to be replaced immediately if this establishment plans to keeps customers. This customer will never return!!!!!! read more
