During our day in Daytona Beach, I knew I wanted to get some ice cream and I certainly have fond memories of eating at Culver's, so we popped in to grab a quick sweet treat. After looking at the menu for a second, I decided to go with the Caramel Cashew Sundae ("We drizzle our buttery caramel over vanilla frozen custard, add a generous helping of whole roasted cashews and top with a sweet maraschino cherry") and went for the single scoop option. It took an awfully long time to get to our table, like 15 minutes, and when it did arrive it had melted quite significantly. I have no idea how they felt it was cool to give us half melted ice cream but anyway we immediately began eating. It's a good sundae. We went through the drive through, unfortunately. We ordered & paid $44 for 5 of us. There was a very long line in front of us & behind us. We waited 45+ minutes! My husband & grandson got out of the car & went inside to see what the problem was. They were very rude to him. We SHOULD have cancelled the order right then & got our money back because they shorted us a meal and the food was all cold. I called the manager & all he could do is say he'll mail me a coupon. We came back from a day on the beach and the fam wanted to try out this place. I was a bit turned off thinking this would be another fast food joint however I was impressed with service and food. My heart was set on eating on the beach at some beachfront restaurant however between the extreme heat and three minors lol we decided to come here. To my surprise they had fried shrimp which I was a bit apprehensive to try but wth I went for it. Well they were really good and fresh! Not bad at all! It came with fries, crinkle cut my fave, dinner roll and a coleslaw salad. Coleslaw was nice and creamy but the roll was dry. Hubs had the pot roast dinner‍ which he actually enjoyed. Kids had burgers and got free scoops of ice cream they call something I forgot but it was delish. The restaurant was very clean and they followed with safety guidelines to a T! I am fuming. My girlfriend and I went to this Culver's as we both love Culver's. We waited about 5 minutes to order, not too bad. I ordered the deluxe double butter burger with mashed potatoes and gravy. It took about 10 minutes to come out, again not terrible. We drove the 15 minutes home and found out that they forgot my mashed potatoes and gravy. We packed it all back up, drove back the 15 minutes to the Culver's, I went in to ask for my mashed potatoes and gravy and ask for them to potentially remake the food as it had gone cold by now. I got up to the counter and told a man and woman that they had forgotten my masked potatoes, and before I could ask for a remake, the woman threw me a bag said sorry, and they both promptly walked away. A little annoyed I walked back to my car. We drove all the way back home, reopened the now cold food, and started eating. What really has me mad however is that once I got to the bag of mashed potatoes I opened it up and found a cup of mashed potatoes without gravy.. and they kindly included a knife to eat with.. nothing else. What the hell. Now as I'm getting even more upset I look at the receipt again and notice this time that they got it wrong on the receipt. I even asked my girlfriend if I said the wrong thing and she said I definitely asked for the mashed potatoes and gravy. So at this point I can't even go back and ask for a new mashed potatoes with gravy... not that I'd want to make that drive again... just all around an awful experience. read more

I ordered my burger, fries, and ice tea. Walking over to fill my tea, my meal was ready before I had even finished filling my cup... Reggie had walked on over to me, handing me my bag of food. I was shocked at how quickly it was prepared. "freshly cooked for you once you ordered," Reggie spoke. The restaurant was clean, not very busy when I arrived at 5:00ish however as I got into my car others were pulling into the parking lot. I can understand why folks from church like going there after service. Now for the food.. the burger was tasty, had grilled onions, and yes, a butter bun and the fries were okay. Honestly, nothing special about the fries. In my opinion, they could have been cooked a bit more for a crispy crunch. Great customer service from the beginning to the end. I'm not sure what position Reggie holds at this store/restaurant. You all have to know he's an asset to your team. It reminded of the first time I went into a Chik-fil-a. Ordering was a bit slower than expected only because everything really is made to order. I had the mushroom swiss burger. Very good, if not a tad salty. Fries were nothing great. My wife had a chicken sandwich and it was a really thick piece of white chicken breast. Slowing turning into just another fast food joint. My wife and I have been going to this Culver's about twice per week since it opened. We have a burger one day, salads the next visit, and ice cream the next. It's with sadness that I say this store's service and food quality is on the decline and may soon become like Checkers or Burger King; just a sloppy fast food place you tolerate on rare occasions. I see no reason to describe my last bad experience because it's bigger than that. Simply put, I'm disappointed in the management...it's their job to train the young employees and keep things clean and organized. We stopped here for a quick drive-thru bite to eat. Close to I-95 with but not easy to get out of the parking lot, as it is a very high traffic area. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal which came with fries and a medium drink. The food was good, but just better than average. The chicken in the sandwich was huge, almost 3/4 of an inch thick. It was cooked well, the bum was fresh, but it was just a piece of chicken, nothing special. It was juicy and tender, not tough, but didn't have much flavor. I would suggest some seasoning during the cooking process. The fries were crinkle-cut, were fresh and hot, but again nothing special. This place is apparently known for their butter burger, which I may have to try next time to see if it has any special flavor. We frequent Culver's 2-3 times per week and I don't know if it's a coincidence but when they switched owners it started a downward trend. It started with changing the military discount from 25% to 10%. Yes, I understand it's a gift but the look we received when asking about it was not okay. Next, the staffing issues are being felt by everybody. I try to be understanding of that but waiting 35 minutes for a chicken sandwich, fries and shrimp is excessive. My sandwich was sitting in the window for at least 20 minutes before I went up and asked about it. Then the chaos started trying to figure out my order and how to make it right. The food is awesome and the prices are good. This is a well put together burger and ice cream shop. The staff is friendly but as with everywhere else new staff is in training and a little patience is needed. The day we went there was a sour milk smell throughout the restaurant with large fans in one section drying the floor suggesting a cleanup was in the process. The eating ate was clean as well as the drink and condiment location. I've been a fan of this chain since I first tried it a few years ago. This location is doing a good job and with continued training the team will come together and earn a five star rating. The food was fresh, hot and delivered to our table quickly. Ate at this Culver's on my way home from a family vacation in North Carolina. It's a great fast food place. I ate a double butter bacon burger and it was really good. I also liked their crinkle fries and onion rings, both very crispy. My kids both chicken tenders and they looked like much better quality than the fast food spots I have at home.
