Great spot for ice cream. Only issue is if you are trying to get a cake. Sometimes you can walk in and get a cake and they are more than happy to write on it. But many times you'll grab a cake from their freezer, stand in line, then ask them to write Happy Birthday on it, and they say they are to busy. Happened to me 3 times and each time I had to leave and go elsewhere. First place i've ever been to that says they're to busy to write Happy Birthday on it. For that reason if I ever need an ice cream cake now for a birthday I ho elsewhere so I don't chance it with them. read more

I stopped in here naturally for dessert after a great MOD Pizza on Friday, August 24 at 8:00pm. I give 4 stars since prices are a bit high! This place can be more pricey than other ice-cream shops when needing to satisfy a sweet craving or to cool off one's palate. Lucky for me I had a coupon from my email to buy one signature scoop in a waffle cone and get a free waffle cone on a 2nd. (Not the scoop) so not cool but my total price for 2 huge single scoops of Signature flavors was $9.98. Upon paying, Jennifer took my cool cash at the register. It was interesting to walk up to the counter and see two Twin Sister's working here for the summer. I took a photo of our scooper Zoey who had her hair styled differently than her twin sister. The waffle cones are always being made and baked fresh while they are open for business. Dropped by the other day for some last second Ice cream craving. I ordered the dark chocolate and mint mix and it was so freakin good I want more! My sister ordered cookie dough but she said it tasted like vanilla even though we confirmed it was their cookie dough. Wouldn't recommend cookie dough.. my husband had the dark chocolate and coffee mix and he loved it. There were 3 ladies working and serving. They were all helpful but one has very dry and sort of an annoyed attitude or maybe just wanted to go home idk.. overall not a bad place read more

We have been here many times and have many fond memories of coming here over the years with my grandparents for a special treat. This was the first time we had gotten an ice cream cake. It was super easy to order and delicious!! You can order it online and customize the flavors, mix ins and decorations you want. The cake also had layers of cake unlike other ice cream cakes I have had, which we loved with our customized ice cream flavor. I would definitely recommend one of these cakes for your next gathering. read more

Waited almost 15 minutes for 2 shakes. Shakes were thin. Just flavored milk. Nobody in front of us. Staff was so sloooooow and distracted. They seemed a bit confused. Not very clean. I forgot how scrumptious Cold Stone can be! It's decadent and creamy creations are definitely a splurge, but sometimes that's all you need in life. My family and I stopped into this location around 730 PM during a weekday. The place was fairly clean and there were a handful of tables open. This was the first time we've been to Cold Stone in a few years so we appreciated the employees giving us time to look over the menu and also help to answer any questions we may have. My Mom wanted a cookie sundae. Unfortunately the cookie dough was on a recall so she was forced to decide on something else. A bit of a bummer, but it's not to know they're not trying to contaminate anyone, right? ha. She then ordered a churro sundae, which is actually quite large. Fresh churro and topped with ice cream and whipped cream. The rest of the family opted to make their own creations. I've been craving mint chocolate chip for a while, so I settled on the Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip creation, which came with brownie bits, chocolate chips, and fudge mixed in. Heavenly! The Like It size is more than enough for your sweet tooth (and probably your waist line!) What I really liked is that, despite only having two employees working and it being close to closing town, the two workers still put the customers first. I know they had closing tasks to do, but they still went above and beyond. They were kind enough to get my family lids for our ice cream to go and made sure to find a container big enough to fit my mom's sundae. Wonderful! This is a pretty good Coldstone. I have been here a couple times and received nicely mixed cup of ice cream. They have a lot of different flavors and options here. Some of the ones I have been to have minimal options so this was definitely a plus at the Shelby Township one. They do not sing though when you tip :( Not sure if it has changed since, but I look forward to this the most when I got there and didn't get a song :(. read more

NomNomNom. What's not to like? Classic example of the appeal of 'build your own' experience. Appealing to everyone (at least the 99.9% of us that love ice cream), even those who are lactose intolerant, there really isn't anything at Cold Stone that isn't compelling and satisfying to your sweet tooth. My personal favorite? Sweet cream base, with strawberries and Oreos. Best ice cream in the area. read more

I was just there with my family and spent 27.00 and was going to pay with a 50.00 bill and I was told that they take nothing over a 20.00 bill. I did not have a smaller bill. I then said can I talk to the manger and I guess I was talking to her. Well I said now what. She called the owner of the business and after talking to the owner came back and told me to give back the ice cream that my family has not finished. So I had to pay with my Amex. Now it's not posted on the front door the only way you find out that they will not take more then a 20.00 bill is at the register when it's time to pay. You have no idea till then.
