I just now was prompted to write a review regarding this location. We ordered a special order cake ladybug cake for my daughter's birthday last year. We got it back and it was all light pink with black seed shaped spots, very reminiscent of watermelon and not ladybug. It was not even close to what we had discussed. My husband immediately returned to the store to see if he could have it remade or a refund. The employee in the store said she could not issue refunds. My husband was given a phone number of a manager or someone who also did not resolve the problem. Needless to say they took our custom cake back, never refunded us, and we still had to go buy a new cake elsewhere. Poor management and cake crew. read more

I ordered the Neapolitan cake online in advance for pickup from this location for my daughter's birthday. I had requested that "Happy Birthday" be written on it. Went in to pick it up, which was ready and handed to me. I looked at the cake and was shocked by the way HB was written. Looked as though a 5 year old printed it. I immediately asked the woman if she wrote "Happy Birthday" on it. She started that it wasn't her. Okay- we all managed to chuckle at the childish and incredibly zero sense of work ethic and pride employees have in today's workplace. Then, once we cut the cake and began to consume the cake, we all started to realize that the cake tasted freezer burned! In addition to that, it was missing layers that were supposed to be included! This was an expensive cake and a total waste of $50.00 dollars! My advice, don't fall for their sales gimmick -"This 8 layer cake puts Nana's 7 layer dip to shame." In the future, ask Nana to make her 7 layer delicious dip, at least she would make it with love and pride. Dirty!!!!! The glass cases are covered in dust. They were putting the tongs that they use for the topping on top of the dust then using them back into the food. I told the employee and she seemed annoyed. Went and grabbed a towel to wipe off some of the dust. read more

This was our first time at a Cold Stone Creamery, and probably our last. The staff seemed rather poorly trained. The napkin dispenser was out of napkins, so we asked for some, and the crew member said, "oh, I guess it is empty." Then she didnt have a pen for me to use to sign the receipt. As for the ice cream itself, I found it to be somewhat gummy, like year old generic ice cream from the back of a freezer. Oddly textured, to say the least. Perhaps this is how it is supposed to be, but I don't care for it. Also, the dipped waffle cone bowl for an extra $1.19 was not worth the upgrade. The cone was soggy, and chewy and the chocolate was bland and waxy. Again, perhpas this is how its supposed to be, but again, I don't care for it. Finally, the tables outside of the store were sticky and gritty and appear to have not been wiped for several days at least. read more

The ice cream was DELICIOUS. i am baffled and flabbergasted at all these negative reviews. I experienced the complete opposite. If i'm gonna be honest the other reviews made it sound like it was gonna be just god awful, but it's truly not like that! i walked in, was greeted politely and treated with respect, received my ice cream which was delicious, and i left. If I could bottle the smell of Cold Stone and make my home smell like it everyday oh the sweet dreams I would have every night. If you walk in here and are still in a bad mood I'm not sure I want to meet you Mr. Grumpy pants. The only downside is trying to decide what you will put into your concoction. You can sample any and as many as you need to so you can eventually make up your mind. They also have a wide variety of signature ice cream combinations for the less picky and indecisive. I suggest getting the smallest of the three unless your going to split it. Remember like Mom always said " Your eyes are bigger than your stomach!!" It's much more enjoyable when you don't gorge yourself in my opinion. So worth the possible diabetic coma...joking. Treat Yo self! read more

We have been coming to this location several times and we never had any issues. The ice cream is always great and the employees were friendly. However our last two experiences were unpleasant. The night shift customer service was horrible and the employees were rude. We got there around 8:30pm and as soon as we we entered the employees made a face to eachother like really more customers are coming. You could feel that they were already trying to close and we weren't welcomed there. The lights were dim and at 8:52pm we were told that the lobby was now closed and that if we wanted we could eat our ice cream outside. So we left. Today we went again around the same time and only one employee was working, which was the same guy from last time. We walked in and we recieved a forced "Hi welcome to Cold Stone." (He wasn't happy about us being there or any other customers coming in.) We got our ice cream and we sat down in the lobby. The lobby was very dim and the lights near the bathroom were already turned off. It looked like they were already closed. At 8:48pm we were told that the lobby was now closed and that we could eat our ice cream outside if we like. However this time we said no its not even 9pm and we aren't done with our ice cream. He then said that his boss told him to tell customers that the lobby closes 20m before 9pm which I think is a lie. So we sat there and continued to eat our ice cream while he went in the back to put his rap music on. We left 2m before they closed. We will no longer be coming to this Cold Stone Creamery ever again due to the horrible customer service we recieved. read more

I personally am a big fan or cold stone creamery so when I saw this location I was excited to get some, especially since there aren't a lot of locations in existence anymore. And after having tried them there still aren't as far as I'm concerned, I would give this no stars if I could but you have to put at least one to do the review. First of all when I went in here it was extremely warm inside, on a summer day, which should've been a red flag but I said maybe they were having air conditioning troubles, I wouldn't hold that against them. Then when I got to the register the young man working behind it acted as if I ruined his day by showing up, racist much?! On top of that he had to stop talking to what I'm assuming was his friends to wait on me. It yet and still I keep pushing forward I wasn't going to let one bad egg ruin the dozen. I ordered my confection, and as I watched him make it I see him basically skimping on all the additions and had to ask him to put more in it, which he did with much attitude. Then once it was done I paid then received it. Much to my disappointment it was very soft and I had to eat it right away because it was melting from the moment I received it. I actually should've went back and returned it at the point because that actually was the last straw for me, but instead I ate it hurriedly not getting to savor or enjoy it at all. We went here because they are known for singing and making a big deal out of special occasions. We went out of our way to mention our daughter's sweet 16. Needless to say there was no birthday song for Stephanie. The boys working in there were clearly clock watching. I ordered an Oreo Overload from this store. This menu item is one of their "signature selection" menu items. You, of course, get charged more for the "signature selection", an expense that would have been somewhat acceptable had the end product come anywhere close to meeting the stated menu​ description of: "It's just like dipping an OREO® in milk. Except, you know, with chocolate chips. And fudge. Whatever -- it's amazing! Ingredients: Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips, double the OREO® Cookies and Fudge." I ordered a "like it", which is basically a small. I had a total of three bites out of about 20 that actually contained Oreo cookie. This was very disappointing. You definitely get neither what is advertised nor what you pay for. I won't be back at any Cold Stone in the future. I hope saving a few Oreo cookies is worth it to them at the cost of losing a customer. Brilliant business model. read more

They have banana ice cream!!!! Ah, the memory of Baskin Robins when they had banana ice cream. The kids working here are very friendly. If you give them a tip they will sing. I ask them not too. It takes away from servicing the next guest or the guest they are serving. I know it is their angle for the business, but I think it sucks. That is why they get 4 stars. My friend and I waited for several minutes until someone even acknowledged us. As a man named Paul was talking to two girls he obviously knew outside of work. As we just waited around, and were not acknowledged. Then, Paul actually decided to work instead of chat, and there was obviously a newer employee who was still learning. And when she made a mistake she was criticized in a negative manner and was yelled at. Which made her flustered. There could have been a much more positive and constructive way to correct her. It wasn't even busy and we probably spent about ten minutes to just order two small sizes of ice cream. The guy with the flippy brown hair was quiet but polite. I liked him. I went in on a Friday night a few weeks ago with a friend. Neither of us had been there in over a year and it was nice to see a lot of new additions to the menu. I had a birthday coupon so that helped defray the cost a bit as well. The line was super long and we waited at least 15 minutes before someone was able to help us, but the servers were friendly. It's mostly teenagers working in there. We wanted to eat outside but the tables were disgusting, all sticky and dirty with garbage on them. Went into ColdStone to pick up a uber eats order and the two kids working had not even started the order and told me it would be a wait. I had no problem with waiting and watched as the restaurant filled with guests as the two kids struggled to just complete the two uber orders. Then after 20 minutes of waiting the male that was working came up to me and requested that I contact the customer and ask them if it was okay that he made the ice cream incorrectly even though he had the correct ice cream in the back of the restaurant but he didn't realize because he was too lazy (his words) to look and the female coworker brought it out once it was already made for a different guest. I then told the worker I would not be waiting any longer ( because this was supposed to be a 10 minute TOTAL order ) but I can call the customer and see if it was okay. I told the customer what was going on and of course they thought it was ridiculous and were getting mad. I then cancelled the order and the male child had the audacity to give me a bad review on uber for his mistakes ... Uber disputed the review and compensated me for my waste of time but I suggest not hiring rude incompetent kids in the future. read more

I've been to many Cold Stones and typically enjoy the experience, but not so much at this location. Stopped in around 8pm on 4/1/15 and there was quite a line right off the bat. There appeared to be 3 employees working, and while you'd think they'd try to be efficient and crank out some ice cream to the patiently (or not so patiently) waiting customers, they seemed to be more concerned about entertaining us. Yes, I understand. That's what they do here. But not when there's a line out the door. Just picture 15-20 people, arms folded, feet tapping, all with a look of severe annoyance strewn across their faces, all standing in this long, sad, slowly moving line toward our common unhealthy goal. One simple thing brought us all here, and now we all have to watch as 3 teenage boys fling ice cream to each other, flirt with teenaged girls in the line, and juggle. Yes, juggle. At one point, one of the boys went into the back -- I thought maybe he was getting reinforcements -- only to return with 3 juggling balls. Son, if you're going to entertain us, at least use 4. Or here's a novel idea, put down the balls and grab an ice cream scooper or spade or whatever that tool is. It was so disorganized that the line was backwards. You received your ice cream on one end, and had to pay at the other. Disorder at its finest. But seriously. They need to focus on prioritization. read more

We ordered a Cookies and Creamery signature cake for my sons Birthday. We have ordered this cake multiple times from this location. When I went to pick it up it was not decorated anything like it is shown online or how it was in the past. I mentioned it to the person helping me and he said "Oh our decorator must have gotten fancy" and that it would have to do as there was not anyone there that could fix it. When I called the next day to ask about this I was lucky enough to talk to the owner. Or at least I thought I was lucky. She said she would look into why it was wrong and see whose fault it was. I was sure it was on there end as we did not decorate the cake. That night I got a call back from a manager who was very nice but really had not a clue as to what the problem was even though he said he had spoken to the owner. I told him as I had told the owner we had ordered three of these in the past month. Now the next day the owner sent me a text, yes that is right a text not a call, that it was in fact there fault. Here is what they thought was a good solution. They would let me bring my son in for some free ice cream. I told her that was not going to cut it and gave them another chance. So there next offer was "How about $10 will that do it" Again in a text not a call. So on a $36 cake they wanted to refund less than a third. I told her it was a real shame they were going to lose a customer who has purchased 6 cakes in the last year over this. After all this back and forth I told here I would not accept the $10 but would also not be ordering from them anymore. You would have thought they would have said. Let us refund your money or said the next one is on us. I am going to try and upload pics of what we received versus what we ordered. read more

I have been out of the area for a few years and recently came back to visit family. My family and I came to enjoy an ice cream at the friendly and familiar coldstone. This was by far such a mind numbing experience. There were 4 employees standing around laughing and talking while only one person was serving. There were multiple people in line. One staff person took a phone call and blatantly disrespected the customer on the other end of the phone. Once he completed the call, he openly talked about how the customer calling must've had "Alzheimers" because they were incapable of communicating. I was highly offended. At 9:20, the staff turned down the lights and began counting the drawer money and made bets on how much they accumulated in tips. How did they know I wasnt about to hop the counter and rob them as they laughed and joked about how much money was and wasnt made? Having worked at an ice cream establishment in high school, i understand that while its not a business environment you must still act the part and treat your customers with respect. Being young, I never thought I would complain about things as such but this left me feeling very uneasy. Do not go here! Take my word for it! read more
