Katherine took care of everything and delivered the cake to the restaurant we were dining at. After dinner the beautiful cake appeared at our table and the grooms were really surprised. We have eaten a lot of really good cake but this cake was extraordinary. Pistachio cake with homemade raspberry and the most luscious buttercream. It was the perfect end to a lovely day. Irish Car Bomb: Chocolate cake perfectly balanced with the moist Jameson center. The bailey's frosting is the sweet compliment bringing out the rich chocolate. Cowboy Coffee: EXTREMELY chocolatey, with a rich dark taste. Hint of espresso goes back and forth with the Jameson. Both have perfect moist centers that taste as if they were lightly soaked in alcohol, and the cake was ACTUALLY BETTER than the frosting (only other place that accomplishes this is The Sweet Lobby). I'm not downing on the frosting, though. It is perfectly complimentary. As of right now they sell them in bars/private events/festivals. But I hope to see a store front in the future.

The Giant Peanut Butter Cup is very decadent with rich dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter. Just a couple of bites was more than satisfying and paced myself and able to devour the cup over a few days. The Dark Chocolate Covered Mint Oreo was delicious and my pick over the Dark Chocolate Covered Oreo, which didn't taste that different from a normal Oreo. Of the truffles, the Raspberry and Dark Chocolate Ganache were my favorites. The Hazelnut truffle was fun to try and reminded me of a Ferraro Rocher hazelnut truffles. I miss seeing Capital Candy Jar at the farmer's markets as many have shut down and excited to see them at more festivals and events post pandemic. On top of that if you order your groceries online or from the app, you will probably only get delivered half of the items, or the smaller versions of the items yet you will get charged for all of the items. And In order to get your money back, you'll have to go through both the store and the outsourced customer service number from the app. I would suggest another Safeway.
