Came here with a friend for ice cream after a movie. This location isn't necessarily the biggest, but it's still popular for the creamy ice cream. I think it's a little too sweet for me, but it's thicker and the way they differentiate is with their variety of toppings they offer. I'm so disappointed. And for a couple of reasons. First off, the two stars of for the ice cream being absolutely delicious every time we go. Those girls bust their asses and make it perfectly. My favs are the cheese cake special one and the birthday cake remix. However. To the manager, owners, whoever.... this company is pretty large for a small establishment. You have so many locations.... don't be a cheap ass. Every time we are there, it is so understaffed. The line is long, people are annoyed.... and again, the girls work very quickly. It's a matter of 2-3 people serving a line of 10+. I meant to leave a review previously that would have been more stars. However, tonight I was absolutely disgusted! There were only two girls working. They were making ice cream as well as working the cash register. I saw this worker with finger nails inappropriately long for working with consumable products.... ring somebody out with cash, the reach and grab a waffle cone, touch it with said dirty hands, make ice cream and give the customer.... then when she realized she had ice cream under her nails, she dipped the dirty finger into the water container that holds the ice cream scoopers. It was disgusting. Partially shame on this girl for being so gross. The ice cream is a little pricey, but the gourmet mashed creations are worth a splurge here and there once in a while.The service at this location is friendly and helpful. Love their ice cream!! I haven't been to cold stone in a very long time. I've never seen a large crowd until last night. You could tell they were not prepared for a busy night. There were several people in line but the cold stone employee was working as fast as she could. This is a small cold stone location but they do have a seating area. I hope they have outdoor seating in the summer. Overall- I know I will go back for that cake batter ice cream!! I hope they have a few more employee working during the busy months! read more

Probably not the best cold stone I have been visited but it serves my purpose after a good movie with kids or I just want a cup of latte from the next door. I have got at least 4 Oreo cookie cakes from here and those were gone very quickly at kids' birthday parties some time even before I could have a slice. They definitely got some nice cakes. The service could be hit and miss. In fact, one of the older ladies was very nice and friendly comparing to a few younger girls there. In the lobby, usually the tables or chairs are dragged all over the places. Yes, it would be nicer if they could keep this place cleaner or brighter. I did not know this location even existed. There is absolutley no sign for it near the street, only on the side of the building. And to think, all this time, here it was. There's not too much about this location that sets it apart from any other CSC. It might be a little smaller. But it was crowded like all the other CSC's. My regular For Coffee Lovers Only was great. My husbands Strawberry Shortcake extremely melty and there were only 2 strawberries in it. There was one thing that bothered me. There was a pile of 4 dirty mixing spoons sitting on the cold stone. They would just rinse one every so often and start the next creation. Also, when I tipped, they didn't sing. I nearly pulled a Costanza(pull the dip out and MAKE SURE they see it when I put it in), but I know they saw me. I'm not a fan of the singing anyway(sour grapes). read more

Not a good experience at all. 1st off we received a basic generic greeting when the staff was notified by the door bell that a customer had entered. Welcome to Cold Stone. No eye contact, backs turned while they were doing whatever it was, which l don't know what as there was only one customer at the register. No big deal there. However, after that it was down hill. While they talked and giggled we literally stood there for a good 4 minutes waiting. No one said we will be with you shortly or anything. I had to ask "excuse me are you going to be a while?" The girl said very blandly, oh l can help you when I'm done with this.Again, no One was there waiting except me, now that the young man who was originally at the register had left the building. So why am l waiting???? Finally l was waited on and the young man was polite. I Ordered watermelon sorbet in a waffle cone bowl, and the strawberry blonde in a waffle cone bowl also. We never eat the waffle cone bowl until the end and by that time we were home. I live literally 5 minutes away. The bowl was stale!!! So l paid extra money for nothing because we tossed the bowls. I was disappointed from beginning to end. The staff needs to be more attentive to paying customers, and someone should make sure at all times that the waffle cones are fresh. Me and my boyfriend always go to coldstone and at other locations they are good about allergies. My boyfriend is deathly allergic to nuts and he told the employee that he had a tree nut allergy and after that she took ice cream that was right next to 3 other ice creams that had nuts in it. She then proceeded to mix it on the same table they mix all of their other ice creams with which is cross contamination. He told her to remake it because coldstone usually takes the icecream fresh from a carton in the back so it is not around any other ice creams with nuts. When she remade the ice cream she took it from the front again right next to all of the ice creams and just did it all over again and the manager stood there watching and didn't say anything. This location needs new staff and better training because they put my boyfriends life is at risk. 0 stars for this location. read more

Flash forward to last weekend when we dropped in on a nostalgia-filled evening. The inside is very small, almost cramped. It was early January and there weren't many open tables so I would hate to see this place in the summer. I ordered a brownie combo which is as delicious as I remembered. The staff (Patricia J in particular) at this store was very dishonest and lied to customers. Knowing there was a National Ice-cream Day promotion for a buy one and get one free ice cream, my teen daughter and I went to store at Seven Bridges, Woodridge. When we paid at this cashier, my daughter was told to pay for the 2 ice creams in full / regular price. So, she told the cashier about the bogo promotion, which only required a phone number. The cashier did not honor the promotion and said unless we provided a coupon, we couldn't get the second ice cream for free. My daughter didn't take out the promotional email, but mentioned that it should only require a phone number. But the cashier refused. We couldn't really do anything about it, so we paid in full. While we were eating our ice cream, we heard that some other customers were allowed to provide phone number for the promotional offers. My daughter made another attempt to tell the same cashier that the promotion clearly stated that all you needed was a phone number. However, she replied to my daughter that she is not 'authorized' to adjust the price now that we already paid. Then my wife stepped in and asked for an explanation. It was only then, in the face of an adult, that she was finally able to meet ake the adjustment that she previously 'was not authorized' to do. Also, there are less high school kids milling around trying to decide how many people need to split a small cup to make it come out to .65 each. I havnt been to Coldstone in a while, and this was my first time at this location. I didn't know they serve frozen yogurt! I saw it on a previous review and thought to try it. I got the vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries and my friend got the 'coffee lovers only'. I forgot how good this ice cream taste! Staff is friendly. Ice cream is great. For those complaining about wait time, each order is customized. I laugh that people complain about wait time but then expect the staff to get the order perfect. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean. Now that Starbucks has moved there is ample parking. Each time I've been there I get great recommendations and am helped in a timely manner. Being this customized I expect a wait time. I don't pull up to Starbucks expecting a short wait time like a McDonald's. I've watched the staff make waffle cones regularly. Keep up the great work! read more
