We built with Permian in early 2018. They advertise as a "semi custom" builder. You are able to…read moreslightly tweak pre made floor plans. Just know this will cost you greatly. The construction is basically them low bidding out every piece of the home to local contractors. They will do the minimum work required and you have to really inspect everything along the way. Permian's staff was easy and friendly to work with. They also provide a great warranty and quickly resolve most issues that arise. We have used several builders in the area in the past and Permian probably lands in the middle. The area is basically overpriced for what you get. Not necessarily their fault but I worry about the future value. If you can wait and add your upgrades after construction it will save you a lot of money. They up charge anything with ridiculous prices. The other downside is you are forced into an HOA with Spectrum property management that is pretty much a joke and a waste of yearly fees. Not the best and not the worst out there. We had high expectations in the beginning and feel like our home turned out just kind of okay.
