Well, my husband and I were clients of this shady outfit, and our experience was TOTALLY…read more different: Being 1st time homebuyers from Manhattan, Wayne West took advantage of our inexperience and tried to sell us a home that we discovered later had already been condemned. We couldn't understand why all the radiators in the home looked like they had exploded (every pipe in the house had burst from a freeze-up); Why the whole place was damp and moldy (from flooding caused by the burst pipes); Why all the interior doors were missing (he had harvested all the home's original 6-panel doors), or why corbels and other Victorian accents were stripped off the walls (more of his harvesting). I also wondered why he balked when I wanted to send contractors to the home to give us estimates on repairs (he was afraid one of them would enlighten us). It wasn't until we brought a more knowledgeable relative up to see the home just before we closed on it, and they alerted us that this home was WAY beyond repair and that we were being conned! Wayne West almost caused us to blow our life savings on a condemned shell of a home that would have never even been livable. Shame on him!
