Scott was one of them and gave us a time frame of about 3 weeks which we thought was pretty good especially since the other company couldn't get to us for over a month. We were looking to have a few semi-flush mounted light fixtures, a ceiling fan and chandelier above the stairs replaced, and an outlet added so that we could move our TV above the fireplace. Scott was very professional and worked quickly. I was both pleased and surprised that he even changed his shoes before coming in the house and swept up after himself. I was also very thankful that he was able to fix an incorrectly installed ceiling fan that could have come down at any time (our baby is obsessed sitting under and watching our ceiling fan when it is on). He is priced fairly, does great work in a timely manner, and cleans up after himself. What more can you ask for? I would not hesitate to recommend his services and I will definitely be contacting him for future projects.

I contacted them using their webform, and unfortunately,.. before reading other reviews regarding this fee that they charge and ended up passing on using them when they contacted me. There's many other excellent electricians in the area that won't charge you a penny to come by and with no obligations to use them. That's the way we ended up going and we'll still have the excellence of service at a very competitive price. I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? Lloyd's might consider a new policy for 2025, ..."your $149 estimate fee will be credited to your work", in-other-words, if you went with using Lloyd's, they would credit you that $149 back. Sadly, that is not their policy. Yet.

We got a quote about a year ago for a full electrical job in a house and was led to believe it would be no issue. Fast forward to when it came time to do the work and it took weeks for anyone to even come out to look at the job. When they did come out, we were told that they'd be right up and it shouldn't be too long to get the job done. The following week we saw the guy once...one full day and was told he'd be back the following business day. Nope. No call, no show and couldn't reach anyone at the two numbers provided. Finally got someone and they said they may be able to be out the following day but that's the "best that they could do". They ended up showing up that afternoon after I told them we had other contractors there and there was an issue with one of their outlets being put in a poor location. Two people showed up that day and did a few hours of work with the plan to be back the next day. One of the two was on his phone the whole time. It's now been over a month...we have two outlets...two...and a couple breakers put into the box. That is it. Multiple issues arose when the heating company came to finish their part and Gene's was still unavailable to even return their call. Come to find out nothing was grounded and wires were not safely placed according to code. We called to discontinue their services... but don't worry...we got the bill for what they kinda did the very next business day. It's highly disappointing trying to give local businesses your business and having them spit in your face.

We thought we needed a massive wiring job to get a level 2 charger installed in our garage. Joshua took time to talk on the phone about the job, asked great questions beforehand, then came out the next business day to look at the install job and give me a quote. He counselled us OUT of doing the work, and for that, I'm SO GRATEFUL. he could have easily just talked about the necessity of the job, and I wouldn't have known better. But, he's a good, ethical guy, and could appreciate our situation, and so he told us how we could make the best of our situation without massive demo and conduit, and crazy expensive wiring. And, he did it all graciously with a smile. What he got out of talking himself out of this job, is complete loyalty for any and all future jobs we'll ever need. And, I'll be telling everyone I know about him, for sure. Plus, he's a family guy, loves his wife daughter and talks about them with lots of love and pride.
