We kept hearing how authentic their food is, and they also have a delicious menu of Matcha and Cafe Specials. After walking in and noticing all the other food options, we all split up to visit the other spots within, and we then met at one of the many communal tables to share each other's selections. At our large table we had food from Corazon Cocina, Empty Bowl Gourmet Noodles, Wabi Sabi, Little Bird Kitchen, and Que (West Coast BBQ). They all paired nicely with draft beers and cocktails from Cooney's at the Market, and we even got desserts from Rori's Artisanal Creamery. Staff at each venue was very helpful making food suggestions, and even pointed out some of their own favorites there at the SBPM.

Stopped and had some delicouce gelato to cool of in the summer heat. Bought some Dubi chocolate and did some window shopping too. They have a parking loy at the basement level wich is very convienant. It is paid parking and you pay at the machine at the bottom of the escalators. No cash, no problem the machine takes cedit cards.

The customer service is on another level. It didn't feel transactional at all, it felt like an experience. The girls working there are so attentive and genuinely kind, and Jill, the owner, is incredible. Walked into Diani was not greeted at all. I didn't take immediate offense since I understand that staff can be busy. I walked around and then was curious about the beautiful jewelry in the case. I could hear the staff member organizing sections of clothing. I never once was acknowledged or even asked if I would like assistance or if I would like to see something. Absolutely nothing. Now I have a few friends that shop there frequently and never have I been told that the service was poor and rude so I didn't have any preconceived notions. I decided to leave and when I turned around saw the staff member organizing sections and I said hello. Her reply was cold and dismissive but she did say hello. The first thing I thought of was wow, people should always treat others with respect especially in a high end store, you never ever know who has a lot of money in Santa Barbara so therefore judging is just poor etiquette! I will never go back to that store and maybe the staff member should remember that she is working for the store clearly not shopping in it. Diani please be respectful, Santa Barbara is a small town.

So much to love about these 10 blocks of Shopping, Wine, Beer, Coffee, Restaurants, Art, Museums…read moreand Culture, Hotels, and more Shopping. And all nestled nicely between Highway 101 and Cabrillo Blvd, and between Garden Street and State Street. Can't even start with what my favorite spots are, I find a new one each time I visit. Usually plenty of street parking on the weekdays, and on the weekends definitely need to use one of the assorted public parkling lots in the area. You'll also find Live DJ's, Karaoke, Trivia Nights, Live Music, Bingo, Happy/Hoppy Hours . . . and sometimes dancing in the streets.
