Let me start by saying that I had negative experience at the Sirena store a few doors up from the Arlington Theater today. While I'm not in the market for women's clothing, I couldn't help but see an A-board sign on the sidewalk in front of the store. Wording on the sign was in extremely poor taste. Among other things, words on the sign advertising their merchandise said "... and other cute shit." Who thinks its OK to post such a statement on an advertising sign on a public sidewalk? Families walk by there all the time and parents surely would not appreciate seeing this. I entered the store and complained to a saleslady about it. She said the wording on the signboard was the decision of Leah, the owner of the business who is not there very much. Leah, you might want to reconsider what you are communicating to the public beyond the "cute" age group that you think would respond favorably to foul language. State Street's businesses have enough problems in keeping their doors open, and displaying signs like this certainly doesn't help to attract shoppers to what should be a family-friendly downtown. read more

The clothing is on trend and seems of good quality which I appreciate. The downside is they don't ever answer their phones in the store. Also they wouldn't let me pay cash for a gift card I was purchasing which I thought was strange. Lastly they don't ever give me the option of getting a paper receipt, I must provide a email or phone number. read more

Super cute store with on trend fashion! My 3 daughters and I love this shop and staff. They are always so helpful and happy to offer options for the 4 of us (all different sizes) . Located in the popular Funk Zone you absolutely can't go wrong popping into Sirena. They have a wide assortment of ladies clothing, accessories, shoes and decor items all reasonably priced. If you see something you like you better buy it because it might be sold the next time you go back, their inventory is moving fast! Absolute gem in Santa Barbara! We visited their new location on state street as we walked past all the shops, we came into this little gem, and we were so glad we did! The store is so posh and stylish, and has such a nice aesthetic and vibe we were greeted by Alyssa with a warm smile and informed us that everything in the store was 25% off, score! She helped me with some perfumes that they had there and took so much time to share with me the information she knew about them! I then ended up trying on a few pieces that I loved and with the 25% off made the cost extremely affordable! She even offered my daughter, and I some refreshments while we shopped! She was so kind and sweet that we ended up spending a lot of time in there and made it out with a cute outfit, a cute top, some perfume, and a lip gloss all under $120! We were visiting from LA and we're about to leave back and asked if we could use her restroom and she was so kind to open up their doors! Anytime we come back to Santa Barbara we will definitely visit Alyssa and this wonderful boutique store! read more

Hands down THE best boutique in Santa Barbara. I love that when you walk in your are not overwhelmed by too much clothes but every single piece is something i would want. With years of closing doors on State st, even though I live in SB I would drive to LA to shop. The days of back-to-school shopping were GONE. But not anymore, Sirena is truly my answer to everything! It makes me sad to write this, as I've been a huge supporter of this boutique ever since I was recommended to check it out 3 years ago, but I had one of the most disappointing shopping experiences here recently and feel that something should be said. This boutique has always been a "Girl's Day" stop for my friend and I whenever our schedules allowed us a retail therapy day together. Last Friday was our most anticipated day of the week to come check out all the cute things we'd been obsessing over on the shop's Instagram page, not to mention we hadn't been in what seemed like forever for us. Upon arrival, we were the only customers entering the quiet shop, and we experienced just that: - - silence - - That is, apart from the two boutique shop associate's, one who is younger and heavily featured as a new model on the shop's social media (I believe her name is Madison according to tags on the boutique's Insta page) and a more mature blonde woman. They were chattering about what they would like to get for lunch. This continued on until they both decided on a turkey something or/other, and then we were given a very dry and quick, "hello", upon Madison's exit. Moments later a small group of girls (about 4) entered the boutique to which our ears quickly realized that the shop associate was indeed capable of greeting shoppers when they all exclaimed, "OH MY GOD HOW ARE YOUUUUUUUUU?", chipper as ever. This is when the morale and attitude picked up in the boutique, as if someone flipped a switch. It went from a sad depressing morgue vibe to a brunch popping-the-champs-with-the-girlies vibe. My friend and I looked around some more, finding it a bit odd how the atmosphere changed dramatically once a new group of girls entered the shop, but 'maybe it was because they all somehow knew each other' is what I kept reminding myself as I'm a local and this is a small town. We then finally saw the cute pink pearl necklaces and other jewelry from the social media stories we were obsessing over ALL week, they were right at the counter where the register is. We walked up to get a better look and as soon as we both got up to the counter, Madison who has now returned with lunch, turns her whole body to face the side and starts talking very low and close to the other shop associate. Yet again we get no form of customer centered communication, let alone any form of eye contact or even a smile, and we are now literally right in front of both store associates. I guess whatever bit of gossip or judgement that needed to be passed in that moment was just THAT more important. At this point I'm beyond turned off, I turn to my friend who's facial expressions and body language are telling me that its time for us to leave, and that is exactly what we did. Also, no we weren't 'thanked for stopping by' upon our exit, either. My point in writing this review is not to drag anyone's name through the mud, lets remember that this is coming from a place of sadness. My intentions with this review are to highlight that Sirena's current face/model as well as its floor associate's seem to be more preoccupied with themselves than being centered on the store and what type of role it provides in the Funk Zone. My friend and I left Sirena feeling out of place, un-welcome, and honestly we felt that we didn't fit in. This outcome could have been avoided completely had there been more attention to customer service and kindness. read more

The best place to find the best outfit for any occasion. This store has suits, shoes, earrings etc AS WELL AS outfits you will want to wear constantly. I have at least 5 pieces from hear and never cease to get compliments.
