They have a lot of cool stuff but the place always seems messy. Sometimes they can be a little pushy on the sales. Family owned is always a fun plus. A local comic shop is a fun plus. My overall experience have not been great or poor, the staff seems knowledgeable but can often get swept up in too many customers or just a certain conversation. My biggest issue was asking if they carry CGC slabs and after finding out they do but not in store, they wrote some stuff I was looking for down. They'd call me and let me know if they have them in stock and what grades ect. This never happened. One of my friends ordered something and it took weeks, months? To receive the item in stock, this is more between him and CI but hearing/seeing how things had been handle on both sides made me a little iffy. The location for me personally is a bit out of the way, but parking has always been fine. The hours are a bit off as they may not actually open right at 11, but instead come in 10-15mind later. But they have said to call them and that they would come as soon as possible. The bad or complaints out of the way, they do have a nice collection of comics/graphic novels/trades ect. Including the new weekly issues. Stuff seemed fairly organized for the amount of stuff crammed into the building. They also have a few collectibles which is always fun to me. Overall again I don't love or hate the place, I see areas to improve on but they've been around as long as They have been doing it their way. So they must be doing it well enough. read more

Amazing store! Great selection and reasonable prices which Is a plus. They go above and beyond helping you find things to add to your collection. If you bring them a list and set up a time and date and work out pricing on the item for you. I also like how they have accounts for customers along with a great rewards system which helps save money. This will definitely be my shop for all my comic book needs. read more

Friendly staffed and well stocked selection (some discontinued treasures!) However, they're quite popular and understaffed. Many items with no price tag that require the staff to contact an outside source for price. Picking out a handful of minitures required me to come back for a price, only to find that they forgot to. So I stood around for 30+ minutes while she dealt with customers, and waited for the prices. read more

If you have read any of my other reviews, you likely saw my review of a certain downtown located comic book shop. This shop may be in an obscure place off of highway 32 but it is the worth the trip and definitely a superior comic book and the best one in the area by a mile. This shop is family owned and it definitely shows. Its very clear that everyone who works here is a lover of comics as well and they are very friendly and knowledgeable. They take an interest in their customers and recognize regulars and address them by name when they come in. All new releases are clearly displayed on a big wall, and the tend to not mark up their back issues that are only a few months old. This place also has an amazing selection of t shirts, statues, board games and all the usual stuff. Its decently sized without being way too huge and has a great sense of charm and wonder. Lacks the sertle corporate feeling of certain large comic shops. read more

Brought my daughter here a few weeks ago as a reward for having a great week at school - and they were closed. But Beverly saw us outside and opened up the store. Anna, who's autistic, loves comics and really was taking her time. Beverly didn't rush us, and patiently helped my daughter find the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics we were looking for, and didn't try to hard sell us on any of the other cool memorabilia in the store. I cannot tell you how much collectors ink means to me. Everytime I go in, it's nourishment for my soul. The staff could not possibly be anymore helpful, they will tell you anything you need to know, and get you what i need. I've been going for twenty years now and couldn't ask for more. Their inventory is absurd too, if you want something, just ask. Their selection is constantly expanding too, hopefully their ventures into miniatures has continued success. read more

Friendly staff, awesome selection, regular gaming meet-ups for stuff like HeroClix tournaments and lots of odds and ends. Statues, action figures, figurines, collectible card games, posters, you name it. The only thing they don't deal in is sports cards. They have a huge collection of vintage comics at very reasonable prices and they can get you anything thats currently being published. They also throw in bags and boards for free. I've been going there for years and its easily the best comic shop in town. They are open Tuesday thou Saturday. New comics come in every Wednesday. read more

They lost my business too fast. Decent shop, polite staff, some stuff marked up a bit. They didn't get the comic we ordered and we didn't find out until we came to pick it up, about two weeks after it was supposed to arrive. They didn't reorder it or call to inform us, yet they called twice after that incident just to ask us if we wanted to order a couple of comics the lady apparently remembered my wife expressed some interest in when we had visited their store. I didn't know whether that was a friendly act or desperate one to be honest. They should worry about keeping thier end of a deal before trying to make more sales. I find it likely that they sold the comic which we had paid money to have ordered and held. Unprofessional. Other than that cruddy story it's a fine local family biz to support if you love comics. read more

Easily the best comic shop I've ever been to. I travel in my job and visit at least 4-5 different shops a month and I've hit the jackpot with this one. I've gone to this store three times in the past week. The first time I walked in, the store was closed, but the woman who owns the place let me in to look around anyways! I love how for every $10 you spend, you get a "bonus buck" to spend on back issue comics, which was awesome for me. It's very nice to get even the smallest discounts at this store because my only one complaint is the prices on some of the items. The single issues and back issues are reasonably priced, and there are nice 50¢ and $1 boxes full of comics, but the volumes (that is, comic books filled with about 6 individual comic issues of a continuing story), which I specifically collect, are priced at full retail value (the price next to the barcode on the book), with no discount in any way. I wish I could use the bonus bucks on the volumes, but sadly they are only available for the back issue comics. However, I should point out that despite my little complaints to the store, that will not stop me from coming a lot more in the future. Love this store! read more

This is the comic book store I've been going to since I was a kid, the owners are the nicest people, if you have a question they'll find the answer. Every week they've got the new issues and if looking for a back issue they've got tons. They're bonus buck program is ok but sometimes wish was a little better deal but other than that if looking for comic books and a very friendly environmnt highly recomend. read more
