Look at all the one star reviews. Here is my experience at College Station Ford. I bought my F-150 from a different Ford dealership out of state. A large, top notch, professionally run dealership. It's a night and day difference here. A couple years ago, I took my 2020 F-150 in for a routine oil change. They called me when it was done, and told me that there had been an accident back there. They had crashed my truck. Somehow, from the garage to the parking lot they managed to literally drive it into something and smash the front bumper and take out the lights. (It was paid for under warranty). Another review said they left their car for service and found a cup of old alcohol in it. Makes me wonder. Also makes me wonder if they care who they hire. So when I got the truck back, there was a super obvious deep dent right in the middle of the driver side door. No one knows anything about that of course. They take it back again for more repair. I could not believe my eyes when I got it back from "repair". It looked every bit as bad as it did before, if not worse. The dent was still there, maybe it was a little less deep, but this time the paint did not match at all! It was a dark gray almost black, on a medium flat gray. It was a complete joke. They explained that it was an attempt to fix without having to replace the entire door. I don't know why they'd even think it was acceptable to present it back to me. It was that bad. I politely demanded an entire new door. I waited again. Keep in mind they really did not want to give me loaner vehicles either, which is an unheard of level of tacky for a dealership in this situation. I got the loaners but not until I told them I absolutely needed a vehicle, especially since it wasn't my fault I was in this position in the first place. By the time I finally got my truck back, I think it was maybe around a month. I recall it taking a long time. Then... it came time to pay off the lease. The dirty finance manager overcharged me by I think it was almost $2000. I caught it and ended up calling the store manager, who told me they'd have it taken care of. I found out he gave it to the finance guy to handle his problem that came around to bite him in the rear, and by that time I'm sure neither he or I wanted to see each other so he left me a check at the front desk. You know it's bad when the local dealership is a reason you're looking into a different make of car next time... Seriously. You can't even make this stuff up. I'm using the warranty for service, but after it's over I will never go there again. read more

My daughter kept going back for the complimentary hot chocolate. They ran numbers on a Bronco I liked and almost had the deal done when I said I really liked the Bronco on the showroom floor. They stopped everything on the first Bronco and gave me numbers on the one I loved. They worked their butts off to earn my business and did! I now own a Bronco I absolutely love! Everyone has smiles until you say no. Let me explain. I had a stalled vehicle that I trusted them with. Ecosport (my first mistake). I was greeted by Haley, service advisor, who seemed very friendly and ready to help. She got my keys and started to drive off but the car stalled on her. My concern was the recall. Did it have something to do with that? She said that it did and took my information (not sure why because it wasn't used...). She stalled half of the next day only to tell me that it was not the recall issue that they looked at. It was the EVAP system (again). History: 3 engine replacements with EVAP systems replaced. Here's where the fun begins: I had to call everyone: from the warranty company to anyone that looked at the vehicle. No one wanted to talk to each other. No one wanted to admit that it was under warranty. No one wanted to WORK. Just me. Stranded in a city where I don't know anyone nor how to get around during a home game weekend. I was fed lies from everyone and ignored. If you are new and want great service, avoid them! Cody, thank you for trying to buffer for Haley. I was charged $100 for them to digitally diagnose the car. But did nothing but stall and left me and my family stranded. Going elsewhere for an actual service. $35 part for $600. read more

The buying process wasn't bad so to say. They tried to tell me who we had to use for financing when I already had approval from my bank which was an approved lender through them as well. Got told they have a referral bonus, (ie: if a friend of mines buys a vehicle from them and says I referred them, then I get a check $100). I bought my car 3 months ago and my friend bought theirs 2 months ago... still no referral bonus check like they said. I just get told it can take a while with the mail.... sorry it is not going to take 2 months! Shame I can't give a negative star rating! I was finally able to make a deal to purchase a 2025 Mustang Mach-E from College Station Ford after a week of dealing. Ben (salesman) and I had good negotiations until we got to an agreement at which point he claimed the best price was $2800 more than agreed and "That's what it is." I waited a few days and spoke with Michael Bean (sales mgr) and reached an agreement within 5 minutes at a price lower than the first negotiation. However, when going through financing, I found a $1900 line item added to the price. When I questioned it, I was told it was a charge added to all vehicles. I refused to pay it and ultimately had it removed which dropped the payment almost $50 a month. These people are S-H-A-D-Y! I will NEVER use or recommend this dealership! read more

The intention of my visit was to take photos and videos to share with everybody along with my experience, and I was overall impressed with their exciting vehicle lineup, and finally getting to see the new generation Mustang! Don't trust these people. We came in to purchase a truck we saw online. While negotiating, the vehicle price came down but the extras we did not request were added such as windshield protection at $200 that our insurance covers already, and GPS protection for $299 and neither of these were requested. We had the extras removed much to Michelle's disdain. We came to an agreement on everything, we arranged our own financing and that's when it all went sideways. Michelle requested for us to fill out a loan application to see if they could beat our deal and we agreed to that. The next morning when we left to pick up the truck, she texted us that we needed to meet with the finance guy and I asked to have him call me. We were told he was with a customer at 9:00am...hmm, then she told me the rate and I told her we had a better rate which we did. She then texted me that we HAD to finance with them as part of the deal. We told her we had our own financing after a lot of back and forth, they refused to sell us the truck. These people are crooks and will take advantage of anyone not paying attention to each line item. There is a reason they have a terrible rating. Buyer be ware!!!! read more

Our car was damaged by another vehicle and their insurance was the worst to work with adding an additional 2.5 months to get the work done. I brought my Ford here expecting to have my transmission replaced, and they served me well by offering a warranty and covering a majority of the expenses for my Ford. However, it has been over a month since I have seen my car, and I'm not old enough to use a rental, so it's starting to get extremely irritating. Especially when it took 2 weeks to even diagnose what was going on with my transmission. I expect to have my car finished this Friday, but my service support lady has not answered any of my calls. We paid for several services that did not get done. A tire rotation was paid for and not completed. We know because they did not find a tire with 2 nails on the interior side of the tire. new Air filter paid for and not change. After the tires were not rotated we wondered what else they didn't fix. We had a friend check the air filter, it was still old and dirty. On our paperwork the battery tested good, and later in the paperwork the battery tested poor. Purchased a truck from CS ford. This truck was sold as a blue certified vehicle to ensure the customer of a sound of mind vehicle. Was conned into a 6000$ extended warranty and one week after I drove off lot I check engine oil to find a quart low. Filled and checked and same. Went to use service and was given run around until service expired. They sold me a pick up under as blue certified vehicle and when I googled problems with the year of truck it was revealed. It was under a class action lawsuit for engine defect in California. My truck did not qualify for lawsuit because it being a Texas vehicle. Ended up with bad credit hit from this purchase. Was forced to let truck get repo as I only got 70000 miles out of it. 2019 ford f150 4 by with the coyote engine. I was 2nd time purchaser of vehicles at this dealership. Screwed worse than I ever have by anyone and it was a dealership. read more

I waited awhile to cool off before writing this review... At the end of August, Ford / Lincoln was running a special on Navigators: zero interest plus a few other incentives. My wife and I were at a friend's in the area, and after looking online and seeing they had one of the color we wanted, we called to see if it was still available. We were connected with a guy named Roger who said it was, and we drove into the dealership. Beware all of the vultures (salespeople) in the parking lot hovering waiting to pounce. Roger was very polite upon greeting us, but told us he didn't know much about the Navigator model and had a guy named James show us the features, go on a test drive, and answered all of our questions while the dealership evaluated our current Navigator as a trade-in. We were ready to buy. I had an excellent idea of what the price of a new Navigator was as well as our trade-in, based upon KBB research and a friend who had bought one (from a different dealership) two weeks prior. James said he couldn't give us pricing and handed us back to Roger. Roger's pricing to us was 100% of MSRP, plus 28% less than KBB for our trade-in value. Questioning the pricing, and letting him know other dealers were offering lower prices (i.e., my friend), plus my research, Roger got mad and threw a temper tantrum in the showroom - so much so that James and another salesperson's eyebrows raised - yelled at me, threw up his hands and stormed off. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and had good and bad experiences: this one tops the list as the worst at any car dealership. At least James had the courtesy of walking up to us and apologizing for Roger's behavior. Needless to say, we left. Ironically, we went to a Lincoln Dealer in Sugar Land two days later and got the same Navigator for $7,000 off MSRP, KBB on our trade-in, and zero percent financing. In other words, we got the same vehicle for about $14,000 less once you consider the trade-in by going elsewhere. If you are looking for a new Ford or Lincoln (it's the same dealer in College Station), save your time and money and go somewhere else where they value a customer. Seeing as how car salespeople are commission-based, I find it hard to believe Roger's customer service skills allow him to support his family. read more

We have been taking our Lincoln SUV and super duty trucks in for regular maintenance at this location for the past 4 years. Most of the professionals at this dealership have been friendly, consistently reliable, honest and helpful. The manager, Grant greets me by my first name and always asks where we have been with our RV lately. Joe, my service advisor in Quick Lane does an outstanding job getting my vehicles in/out of the shop using our Ford Pass points whenever possible or at a reasonable price . Lucas, takes care of our vehicle repairs by providing value based, comprehensive estimates and loaner cars when the work is going to take more than a few days. Overall we are very pleased to call College Station Ford our hometown dealership ! read more

I don't recommend. This happened to me over a year ago, I was so baffled I didn't know what to say about it, but I remembered the experience recently, so I'm here to say my peace. I'll try and make it quick. I went to their body shop to replace my rear bumper from an accident, it took over a month to get it in, I had to renew my insurance claim because it expired. It took around a month and a half to get my car back, so I had to renew my rental car as well. When I got my car back, there was a HALF DRUNK WARM BOTTLE OF WINE in the console cup holder. I took it out and gave it the representative. I saw there was some kind of sensor sticking out from the ceiling of my car, when I told the guy helping me, he just shoved it inbetween the roof and the windshield. And after taking the car, I found pieces from my car missing, like my fog light trim piece and clips from the base my sun visor. I think they just forgot to put them back. In hindsight, I should've went off then, but I was busy in college and didn't have the energy or the time to go through all that again. Long story short, just go somewhere else. read more

We drove from Waco to but a new 2023 Ford F-150-King Ranch truck. . WE originally were talking on the internet with a lady named Sam. When we got there the fun began. Another salesperson named Michelle took us. She already knew what we were looking for. First, she was going to show us a truck that we did not want to see. Finally, we saw the truck that we wanted and started talking the deal. The price on the internet which was their own was $70699.00, but the new adjusted price when up to $72200.00. After coming to a desired trade in price we asked about their 2.9% interest on new vehicles, the only thing my wife and I remember was that the payment would be lesser that the higher interest rates {no kidding}. After her we went to the finance Depatments when he went so fast, we could not keep up to him. When I got back home, I looked at our papers and they charged us approximately $1500 to get that lower rate, NEVER was told of this. BE SURE YOU NEVER GO THERE. I have bought two trucks from them and will NEVER go back again. JUST BEWARE IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!!!! read more

So far only used Quicklane and I did have an issue with them telling me my break pads were in the red one week, and bringing it back in for the repair the next week to hear that now my break pads were in the green. At this point, I had spent my early Saturday of 7:30 am to get in there, also booked an appointment, so this was concerning to have wasted my time. They then wanted to flush the system so as not to waste my time. I'm sorry but NO. We called the manager and he was very apologetic. We went to see him and he checked the truck there in front of us and said it is indeed in the red. He offered the break pad service plus rotary spin for 50% off. I think he could sense he may never see us again. We agreed to do it, and so far the truck is running better than ever! We are grateful the manager saw the error and fixed it. I have been working with two different sales employees as well as the Sales Manager for the past two weeks. Was told I would have the right of first refusal on a vehicle and given the opportunity to drive 4.5 hours to look at the car before they sell it. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Got a call this morning informing me they were going to sell to their local customers first. Offered yesterday to overnight check to pay for the vehicle and was told by the Sales Manager that was not necessary. I would have the right of first refusal. This place is a joke. read more

This ford had always given me trouble. I have an older ford F-150 so since I don't have a warranty anymore I do all my work myself. With calling multiple cords for parts they always have the higher priced parts and it's by a lot not just 5-10$ it's always 20-30$ more than other Fords. On top of that when ever I call and ask for simple torque specs it's always sorry we can't provide you with this information. I want to start by saying our initial experience buying an F-150 from them in July of last year was amazing. My husband went in with our own financing, they knew I couldn't be there to sign so Simba and the finance department went above and beyond to not only make my husband happy with his trade and new truck, but then were more than happy to send him home with the paperwork for me to sign given our distance from their location and my inability to take time off that day. This is the only reason why they are getting 3 stars out of me. HOWEVER, this past weekend was a whole new experience that has us disgusted with the service. We returned with our own financing again, knowledge of what my trade was worth, and the exact vehicle we wanted. We called long before arriving requesting Simba again and we were told the appointment was made. When we arrived, Simba has no clue we were coming. He had the unfortunate displeasure of passing us to another salesperson, and Kevin was exactly what I feared I would have to deal with. From the moment we sat down, he was insulting and childish. He spelled my name wrong on 3 different documents despite having my license in front of him and my pay stub. He tried to argue with my husband about our pay rates and how we get paid and still put the wrong amounts down on on the paper work. He demanded we seek other financing and submit credit applications. He failed to put my husband's social security number on the documents. Then he went into insulting our jobs, stating "You sound like a couple of Aggie's with the special job titles". No one asked. We didn't laugh. It was disgusting and I was ready to leave at this point. We informed him I hadn't test drove the vehicle yet because there was no gas in it. So he put gas in it and brought it around. Before getting in he told me he had to drive it off the lot because of the dangerous frontage road. Okay. That felt great to be told by a salesperson they couldn't trust me. But I let that go and tried to tell him about another vehicle I test drove at the same location just weeks prior. He begins to insult my taste further about how that vehicle was too boxy for me and I wouldn't like it at all. Nope. I told him I actually loved it and he wasn't hearing that. The test drive was the backroad behind the dealership and around the corner. There was no testing anything else. No looking at anything else in that car. Just rushed and limited. We get back and I was so frustrated. I told him I wanted my phone and keys back (since he took both when we were trying to show him our approval info for our financing). He walked away and I told my husband what happened and he was furious. When Kevin came back, my husband asked if he could go for a test drive and Kevin literally tossed him the keys and said "Go a head buddy". So it wasn't okay for me to drive it off the lot but cool for my husband to go on a full on joy ride?! He then told us he needed a $5000 down payment. At this point we lost it. I demanded my keys and phone. We explained to him all his mistakes with everything and he wasn't hearing any of that. Instead he flat out argued with us and continued to speak to me like I was a child. At this point I demanded my phone and keys again with much more firm tone. He left and my husband walked off to tell someone of our issues. Someone with the finance department came to me to talk about the issues. I only wanted to leave. I was near tears not from having my feelings hurt but from being so angry at this idiot and knowing I could not legally slap the stupid out of him. Jacob took us to his office and we told him some of what happened but all we wanted to do at this point was get my keys away from them and leave. He tried to fix things and smooth it over with us. The man looked sick to his stomach when we left. He was extremely apologetic, even though clearly he was not the person who thought he was a great insult comic. What disturbs me the most is this guy felt it was okay to insult customers so easily to their faces and treat me in particular with such distrust and borderline sexism that it felt like he always did this and it was okay. If this were my first experience there, I would looking to give them negative stars and go full on "Karen" with the dragging and reporting of this guy to all persons. Instead, three stars are what they are getting because of the service we have received in the past and in this visit from Simba and Jacob. At this time, and probably for the foreseeable future, we are going to avoid College Station Ford at all costs. read more

Bad experience overall. I have tried to support the local FORD dealer in CS. I have purchased two vehicles - new - in three years and always used their service department. The turnover there is ridiculously high. The sales team has yet to ever thank me or follow up on my purchases. It is hard to believe this place has stayed in business but I think they capitalize on transitionary students. I highly recommend you drive to anywhere within 60 miles and use local service departments to service your vehicles. Every time we have scheduled maintenance (recalls, normal, etc) we are left waiting hours while others pass in front. This place has no concern for relationship or loyalty. So sad. they say they support aggies - its just a marketing ploy. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I ordered the car online in April and throughout the past 6 months Robert Renfro was great and promptly answered my questions throughout the process. When my car arrived this week, the whole process was smooth and quick. I got the trade in value I wanted on my BMW and I was in and out of the dealership in one hour. Never leased a vehicle through the service department before, but perhaps things were different here? Upon getting over there, they seemed as confused as I was, and sent me back to the sales department. I was told I'd have to wait for an available sales associate, so I did just that. I have never had an experience quite as bad as the one I had the other day at College Station Ford. The best way I can describe how it felt was that if the deal is not a slam dunk, they are not interested. I tried to make a deal on a used vehicle and when James saw that he would have to work to make a deal he lost interest quickly. Yes, we are a little upside down on our trade so I asked about just buying it outright without the trade. He acted like it was a chore to come up with a ballpark figure and would not budge at all on the posted price. He never even asked me to fill out a credit application. I guess if you don't look like a million dollars when you walk in they don't waste time on you...or if they made their quota for the day or month they don't need to work for anymore deals. I am so disgusted with how I was treated that I will never go back again. Oh, and don't let the talk of helping veterans fool you. You only get rebates if you retired from the military. Nothing for just being a vet or even having a disability rating. I posted a google review, and no one reached out to me to talk to me from the dealership. I messaged the original contact who was messaging me every day about coming in...and when I told him about my horrible experience, he quit messaging me. No contact from a manager or anything. TRY TO AVOID COLLEGE STATION FORD if you don't want to waste your time. I was very unhappy about how I was treated by this dealership. It was incredibly frustrating. I was trying to buy a new Ford F-150. When I visited the store for the first time, Salesperson A was unable to find one that has the specs I needed. He told me that he would work hard to seek a right one and get back to me soon. He also told me not to contact their internet sales department, because if so he would not get credit. After several days, no response from Salesperson A... At the same time, I received many emails from Salesperson C. Then Salesperson C called me and told me that she found a right truck for me. When I arrived one hour later, Salesperson B greeted me and told me that the truck I came for was sold literally an hour ago. He spent some time and told me that a sister store had a truck that could meet my need. After checking the window sticker printout for the specs, I agreed to start negotiating the price, trusting that after an agreement on price, the truck could be ordered and arrive in three days. Unfortunately, we didn't agree upon the price. The next day, Salesperson C called me again and we did further negotiation. I did some compromise and provided my final offer. Hours later, she called and said, because tomorrow is Thanksgiving, my offer can be accepted if I come today to close the deal. Salesperson A also made a call starting with "I've got great news for you...". I was very happy, left my work and rushed to the dealership. I was told that Salesperson A would be the one to help me, but he was helping another customer, so I need to wait a little. So I waited, waited, and waited..... I waited from 4pm to 6pm. Yes, you are right, I waited for TWO HOURS!!! But I was happy and excited though, when thinking about closing the deal. Several staff members were idling at their work desk, how much I hoped they could help me; but I don't blame them, because it was late afternoon before Thanksgiving, and I was supposed to work with Salesperson A. Finally Salesperson A showed up. When I told him that my offer was accepted by Salesperson C and let's start signing the papers, he said no, it was not possible, because Salesperson C does not have the authority. He only only showed me a price which was much higher than my offer, but also added a huge dealer fee. He explained the reason for charging the dealer fee; for example, part of the fee is to pay $800 for Apex Protection Plan that has already been installed to the truck and cannot be removed... I WAS OUTRAGEOUS! Salesperson A brought his manager. I explained what happened and even showed him Saleperson C's voicemail which clearly indicated that my offer was accepted. Nope, no use; the manager would not listen to me either. So before my thanksgiving, I had this incredible emotional roller-coaster and wasted several hours of my life. COLLEGE STATION FORD: please stop fooling your customers! We all live in this great city. Go anywhere else! These guys kept my truck for 3 days and charged me $230 to clean a mass air flow sensor. It's two screws and an electrical connection to remove, spray it down with CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner, and two screws and an electrical plug to reinstall. The whole job takes less than 30 minutes including the time to drink a beer. They charged me $460/hr labor rate, and it took them 3 days to do it. Worst place I've ever been. And if you do go and get Cat as your rep, get someone else. She is beyond incompetent. read more

Oh, Ford. How I have grown to loathe thee. College Station Ford, especially. Long time Ford supporter who had the misfortune of purchasing a brand new 2013 Ford Focus. This car, and the service I have received over the years at College Station Ford performing numerous recalls on this lemon have eroded my confidence in this company to nothing and replaced it with vile contempt. Nearly every visit has resulted in some sort of issue. First were the many issues with the horrible transmission (which also resulted in a class action lawsuit being brought against Ford) and being left without a vehicle for days without compensation for the rental I had to get as a result. The radio system died in just under two years and I have found thousands of other reviews of people reporting online of having the same issue over the years. Ford never bothered to bat an eye over that fiasco. I've owned at 6-7 cars in my life and I have never seen a radio short out and die. The last recall involved the door latches and a week after having taken it in I discovered the clowns did not put the window handles back on the backseat doors. Somethings you just have to do yourself, I guess. My recommendation would be to avoid this dealership (and Ford) like you would herpes or the clap. It just is not worth the trouble you will endure. read more

Body Shop Review: I have talked to Lorin and Robert at the body shop and they have been so helpful. Robert went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful. I have had a terrible time with my car and won't have it for a month before this is all done. Because I'm 23, I have terrible rental car rates and Robert personally called to help me get a better deal so I'm not paying $400/week since I'm under 25. I am over the moon in this crummy situation and am so appreciative for the effort put in to help me. read more

Just recently purchased a used 2500 from this dealership. I got a great deal on the truck and everything went really smooth up until we got to financing. I am soooo unhappy at how I was treated during the financing of my vehicle. I was pre-approved prior to me even purchasing this vehicle. I walked into the dealership check in hand, but was really pressured to finance through the dealership. I of course gave them a chance to beat my current finance rate, which they did. Sit down with the finance guy and as we start to go over the total amount financed, I was blindsided with; $399 - pointless dent repair, $399-rock chip protection, $499 APEX THEFT PROTECTION. There it was. I didn't ask for any of that and they tried sneaking it in. When I told the finance guy I didn't want any of this and that a needed to redo the numbers, he said "they didn't go over any of that with you?" I said "absolutely not." I was then told that I had no option in removing the APEX THEFT PROTECTION. I was told that this is installed on all of college station fords vehicles and that there is no way around paying the $499. I asked numerous times that if this is a permanent fixture to the vehicle and not a option then why in the heck is it not included in the list price to the vehicle. Nobody could answer this for me... not the finance guy and not my sales rep. I was forced to pay $499 for a service I will never ever use and that I never asked for or wanted. Per the 2 guys I dealt with, I had no choice in the matter. Lose the deal or pay $499. In addition I told my sales rep many times. "Let me make this easy for you. I want to finance the list price of the truck. Nothing more nothing less. I will pay cash for the negative equity in my truck and TT&L. How hard is that? Get to financing and feel totally bamboozled into all this other crap. I've purchased many vehicle, my wife just purchased a Lexus 6 months ago, and I have to say this was my worst experience in the finance department. Seeing how painless my wife's financing went through Sewell Lexus, made me resent the financing process through college station Ford. If not for the good deal on the truck, I would've walked out and drove back to Dallas. So FYI, if you buy from college station Ford, be prepared to get hit with that once you get to financing. I used no names because my salesman was a nice respectful guy. Just felt extremely blindsided and strong armed into this BS theft protection charge. Sincerely, Josh read more
