I recently took my 18 Ram 1500 into Collierville Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram. Long story short, a cable was misrouted, and the main wiring harness was damaged in the process of running some wiring. I dropped the truck off with Chad Johnson to have the issue looked at and the best way to have the harness replaced or repaired if it was fixable. Today, I took the Wagoneer S for a 12pm appointment after experiencing electrical system failure late last week...there was no available technician and no estimate on when I could expect to get my car back. The dealership had no loaners available even though they sold the Jeep Wave program as a perk. I took my car to Wolfchase Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The receptionist was pleasant and even had sympathy/empathy for the situation...nobody wants to drive a car gone rogue. She immediately plugged into the car's port for diagnostics and took down notes about what I'd experienced. My husband and I have purchase 4 vehicles from Collierville CDJR in the past 8 years and managed all our vehicle service there. We will NOT go back. If I were you, I'd spend your money elsewhere. They admitted their tech installed a part wrong, then had the audacity to bill me again to fix their screw-up. That's not a mistake, that's a business model. This is the second time I've had issues from the so-called 'Service' department at this dealership. Several years ago, I had coil pack go bad on one cylinder and made an appointment, since driving around on 7 cylinders is not a smart thing to do. Long story short, when I showed up only then I was I told that they didn't know when they could get to it. It would be "at least a week" before they could event look at it. This was after making an appointment! I took it to another dealership and the work was done as I expected - not only same day, but within 2 hours. I still had that vehicle last year and was contacted by the Collierville CDJR sales team to see if I wanted to trade up. After telling them I'd NEVER be back there, I was assured that all of the service dept issues were taken care of. I traded up to a very expensive, 2025 brand new vehicle from this dealership. After experiencing drivetrain issues on the IN WARRANTY vehicle several times in the last week, I called back to the service dept. They are now back to the same song and dance - "at least a week before we can look at it." (That fix by the owner surely didn't last long) Screw me over once, Collierville CDJR shame on you. Screw me twice - shame on ME. I should have never believed the BS. Mark my words - I will NEVER give you folks one red cent of my money again. Terrible, unorganized, wasteful experience . Took my car for a simple oil change and to get my tires rotated . Left the dealership and discovered a clanking noise coming from underneath when I accelerate past a certain speed . Had a blowout immediately after. Discovered loose screws hanging from my shield, which was not damaged before I took it to dodge. Just because I'm a woman, it does not mean I'm an imbecile. I take care of my car and know enough about my car. Dodge caused damages to my car and when I took it back to them, had the nerve to try to price a repair for me to pay due to something they did. I already paid $130 for the initial service and $300 for the new tire. I will not be going back and would not recommend going to them unless you want a rushed job done. This is the worst dealership ever. I brought my Chrysler mini van in for a scheduled appointment on 11/14/2025 because I had a P0016 code which was a sensor. It took them until Thursday the next week to even look at it. I finally got my car back on 11/21 after a $650ish sensor replacement. I drive my van for 1 1/2 weeks and the check engine light comes on again with the exact same code. When I went to the website today to schedule an appointment, the earliest available was 12/22 - over 2 weeks before it can be seen for a repair they made already that failed. Because of this dealership, we will NEVER purchase another Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle again, We have purchased 2 Jeep Wranglers, 3 Jeep Grand Cherokees and the Chrsyler minivan in the past 20 years (all new, not used). Bought a new 4 XE July 1st. The next day, a warning light came on about a failure in the hybrid electrical system supposedly ordered a part. It's two months later now my check engine light is on as well. It's nearly impossible to get a call back. The salesman has basically ghosted me and now I'm stuck with a car that I can't let my family in because I don't know when it's going to not work. Its been almost 2 months with no resolution Now the part is in, they don't know how long it's going to take to fix it nor have they ever fixed a problem like this, and they have chosen not to give us a loaner, likely will be in touch with an attorney. I'm 65 years old and this was the worst dealership experience of my life. I was getting my car repaired here after an attempted theft (I was passing through from out of town and got hit.) The repair work they could do on my car was completed promptly and efficiently. But then they had to order parts for the body shop down the road and it was a nightmare of poor communications. Yes, to be fair, the CDK global hack complicated the situation, but that hack did not prevent people from picking up the phone and actually answering it, returning text messages, or (God forbid) calling me back. I resorted to calling a service writer named Zac who was helpful. He would actually communicate with me, then put me on hold for 10+ minutes while he hunted down the service or parts manager for answers. I'm sure these are nice folks and I lived in Collierville for 11 years and loved it, so I'm not just another Northerner trashing the South. These folks need help (or something stronger.) read more

Anyways, I purchased a 2013 Jeep Patriot last Fall (2022) in my home state of FL that I brought to Memphis since I'm based here with my job as a pilot. I received a letter stating that the vehicle had an open recall for the catalytic converter and to contact the nearest dealership for repair. I contacted this company Nov 2022 and inquired about the repair. The rep informed me that there was a shortage of parts, it would be a few months but they'll call to schedule the appointment when it arrives. No problem. I never heard anything and decided to finally follow up at the end of June. The rep commented that it had been a while since that order was placed, but the part was indeed in stock! We set up an appointment for a few weeks later. Great! I showed up at my appointment time and got comfortable in the waiting area. Less than 5 minutes later the very rude woman who did the intake under the awning came to tell me that they no longer had the part in stock. No apologies, no plan b, just oh well, you're SOL. I had sacrificed a day of work to deal with this issue and now they've given my part away to someone else. I spoke to the service manager and expressed my frustration, still no apology was offered - maybe this is a common experience here? He told me that they would order the part and contact me when it was in stock. Here we are 2 months later and I've yet to hear a word from them. I reached out to the Collierville Chrysler Ram last weekend to purchase a Bronco they had advertised. Two sales people responded via Text and email responding that the vehicle was available and wanting to help me purchase it. I live out of state and called to purchase the truck on Monday (they are closed Sunday). The sales person was great to work with and we came to agreement quickly on price and details. The dealership took a $5,000 deposit on my AMEX card. I arranged to travel to Memphis on Wednesday to pick up the truck only to receive a text on Tuesday morning saying they were refunding my deposit. They had sold the truck to someone else. This is not the way to do business. I called and the sales person he said it was a mistake and that they had sold the vehicle before they took my deposit and promised it to me. Not sure what's going on here but we seem to have a lot of problems here. One time we came for an oil change and the glove compartment box had been pulled out and left on the floor. This most recent time an oil change and tire rotation took over a day without any notification and when we washed the car the next day we found one of the tires was missing a lug nut. We bought a deal at this location where you pay a certain amount for 4 and I don't think we even bothered to finish them. Purchased a 2018 RAM 2500 on 4/07/23 for my business. Immediately started having problems with the vehicle. On 4/09/23 it wouldn't start. Had to replace starter. I paid $175 tow back to them and $375 in repairs, which they said warranty is 50/50 parts and labor. On 4/14/23 check engine light and transmission over heating lights both came on. I paniced...took truck back to be checked out. They told me it needs a transmission now. I spoke with the Service manager Bennett a couple times about finding a transmission but he says he's looking for one. I've called back several times to make sure we are on the same page about getting this replaced. I'm trying to convey to him that I want a new transmission put in but since I've purchased this truck the service manager and sales manager make me feel like I'm bugging them. I called the dealership several times asking for an updated on this since my drive out tags were expired and they refused to give me an updated drive out tag. Come to find out, they sent the information to the clerks office to get my plates but sent them all the wrong contact information, and even the wrong address. The dealership did not send them any of the correct information for them to complete everything they needed. I called the dealership and was rudely hung up on twice by the same receptionist. On my third attempt she answered the phone saying I'm transferring you to the sales manager. The sales manager had no way to help. I ended up having to take off an entire day of work and run around town collecting documents for the clerks office to be able to get my plates, all while driving on expired drive out tags. After the three month wait I was excited to get it back but my mood immediately dropped when I saw it for the first time and there was a coffee cup on the front bumper as if it was a table!! I am the owner of a RAM 1500, bought at this dealership. Last Sunday, one cylinder out of 8 started misfiring. I called the service department on Monday the 18th and was told to bring it in today (Thursday) at 8 pm. When I asked how long it would take I was told it would be "about two hours before we can look at it." That seemed sort of lousy for an APPOINTMENT for service, but I forgive a lot these days. Today when I brought the vehicle in, I was told I had to leave it for two to three WEEKS before they could look at it. I reminded him I had an appointment that I'd already waited three days for. He never looked at the computer, asked my name OR apologized. He said even though I was told three days ago to be there at 8 am today, I'd still need to leave it for 2 to 3 weeks. I told him I'd never been told *that* s**t when I called and if I was going to have to leave it for 2-3 weeks, why the 3 day delay? He then told me the service manager "quit yesterday" (not MY problem - AT ALL) and my reply was, "Yeah. Well, I guess I need to QUIT RAM." As I walked out, I heard him say, "Okay." Collierville CDJR, what sort of twisted notion of customer service is THAT? Came in for an Oil change and check up on break disc they told me they where glazed. Quoted 1 hour after being here 30 min. 2 hours later no update. I checked at the cashiers desk and nothing had been brought to check out. So far it just does not feel like a welcoming place. The two stars also comes form talking to one of the sales person. I just did not like that he made me feel like I was given the cold shoulder. I asked a question and I got a really short answer. Other dodge dealerships I have been to and called they took a few minutes to answer my question. Downside about this place is that unlike some of the other places I have been too, they only offer coffee here while you wait. But what if I don't like coffee... no worries you can pay at the vending machine for a snack. But if you only have cash on you good luck. The waiting are is loud. So I can only mark them for satisfied. They have always squeezed me in for a repair when needed and I have always made it in. They are not the most convenient dealership for me as I live in the other side of town, but because of my first experience with them I make the drive. There is another Jeep dealership 1 Mile from me. What frustrating is that every time I get my Jeep back, the mechanic leaves Grease markings on my upholstery. With tan upholstery it shows. Other than that they get a thumbs up!
