At night she was exhausted after spending the day there, the staff really does care about each and every pet in their custody, letting me know every day at time of pickup how she was that day with detailed notes. I then got # 2 Boxer/ American Bull Dog at 5 months of age, the behavior problem dog. Called in and spoke with the staff , sure bring her in they said. Well they had to put her in time out a few times but they did work with her. July 4th week I went on vacation and left both my girls ( my world) with Barkwood , food -toys -blankets, they did such a nice job ! It was hot and the breed doesn't do well in hot weather. The staff soaked down towels with ice water and got my babies cooled down and safe from an overheating situation. They watch your pets closely and have the intuition and common sense to take action to remedy any situation appropriately. I believe they are the best around !! My dog passed and was told he could come on Monday and stay until Friday. My dog is not neutered so I paid for him to have one on one playtime with the staff and one on one snuggle time with the staff my kids and I screen recorded the WebCam on a couple different occasions, and he did not leave his room on either day, the staff members didn't come and snuggle and play with him at all!!! I reached out on Wednesday very upset, asking why my dog is sitting in a tiny room getting no attention, they said they were overstaffed and they had more dogs and not enough staff. They didn't have enough people so the dogs that were intact that couldn't play in group play were stuck in their room. I also brought treats for them to give to him which they reassured me over and over that he would definitely get. I got his bag home and the treats are all still packaged pretty in his bag they did not give him any of them! I brought medicine for them to give to him twice a day for his Lyme disease you have to pay extra for every single thing ...they did not give him his medicine every day. All the toys and bed that I brought came home wreaking of pee!.....if you love and care about your dog do not take them there!!! I could go on and on about things that were promised and never delivered with this place. They do not treat the dogs good at all.
