Kim patiently looked through all his hiding spots (even finding him in an old favorite that he hasn't used in awhile!) to make sure he had the chance to eat. She also graciously took care of a truckload of packages that unfortunately arrived just as we left town. Our cats are always very clearly cared for by Kim- when we return they are relaxed and calm, not anxious or worried. I feel that pet sitting requires a very special person, and Kim is that person. We have had a lot of pet sitters in our 20+ years of having pets, and she is the best.

She did not respond and when she came to pick up my dog for a scheduled and prepaid hike two days later, she called me at work. Almost as soon as I picked up, Leslie began a harangue of verbal abuse. Apparently she had taken my message as an attempt to immediately cancel all services, which it was not. Instead of allowing me to clarify or get a word in at all, Leslie yelled at me for the duration of two phone calls, hung up on me, and refused to listen to my voicemail. Her behavior was borderline unhinged. She turned a misunderstanding on her part into a verbal assault and complete severance of our contract. This episode was extreme enough that I would no longer trust her with my dog or as a reasonable person with whom to conduct any sort of business.
