I hate to leave bad reviews, but for $26 a day, it's the most expensive doggy daycare we've ever…read moretried, and it's a bit disconcerting for the place to smell so dirty and to see cages everywhere. Our dog has been going to doggy daycare since he was a pup, and this was the first time I ever didn't want to leave him there after walking in. The woman who greeted us didn't even look at our dog, and barely looked at us. Dog-loving people tend to say hello to the dog. Something, anything. Instead, she just took our papers, put the dog outside by himself. He screamed outside, which never EVER happens. He also peed on the floor as soon as he walked in. Which NEVER happens, he's very house trained. I felt so bad leaving him, he was clearly not a fan either. Also, when our dog came home, he was WIRED, not TIRED like he usually is after doggy daycare. Did we pay for him to be crated? Maybe that's why they're closed in the afternoon. Nobody seemed to be outside watching the dogs that we saw, either. We're now bringing him to another place in Worcester that he loves. I read good things about Dogma, but when we told the new place about our experience, they told us that they heard the same things from a lot of other people. Sorry, not recommended.

I took my dog here because it was close to my house and they had a discount for Tufts students. I figured, it's summer, nice weather, he can be outside, they do have impressive outdoor areas. The first time I left him, he didn't want to stay and tried to follow me out. That's not uncommon for him. He's been going to daycare since he was 1 (he's now 9) and he always hates the first day and loves the second. I took him a total of four times. Every time I picked him up, he was in a crate in that drop-off area. The last two times, I asked about it and got the response "it's dinner time, so we brought them all in." One of these times it was 4pm. Something definitely seemed fishy. My dog continued to not want to stay every time I dropped him off. On the 4th day when I picked him up, I was told by an irritable employee that I need to train my dog because he barked all day and the neighbors made a noise complaint. First of all, it's a dog daycare, of course there's going to be barking. Second, my dog barks when he's left alone, that's why he goes to daycare, so why was he barking all day? Probably because he was left alone all day. I don't know why I gave them 4 days, I should have stopped after the first day. Now I take my dog to Do Dog Day in Shrewsbury and he loves it and can't wait to go in the morning.
