Alberto installed electrical outlets, switches, and specialized lighting in our theater room. This was no small feat because our lighting needs included swivel fixtures that needed to be installed in pinpoint locations that were difficult to access. Alberto navigated a range of technical problems that arose, particularly in wiring through a complicated wall cap and joist system, as well as through cabinetry boxes I was in the process of constructing. Alberto also talked through several ideas with me and provided excellent suggestions, even on aspects of the theater outside his hired scope of work. Alberto finished the work on time and on budget. The end result appeared as if I hired an expensive company specializing in theater construction, but I never had to pay the hefty price tag those types of companies typically demand. I was impressed with Alberto's expertise and work ethic, so I added several additional items to his scope of work while he was at our house. Alberto installed lighting and a dimmer switch in a window bench and cabinetry in my daughter's room as a reading nook. My daughter's reading nook was a project near and dear to my heart because I spent the better part of 2 years building it, so I was particularly picky about how the lighting's end result looked. Alberto nailed it....both the look and the functionality. We also asked him to install several ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout our home. I have since asked Alberto to return to install additional chandeliers and ceiling fans at our home. IAV designed its scope based on the needs I described (I needed 8 cameras that would record 24/7 and record all human or vehicular motion...plain and simple). IAV strongly recommended the Luma camera system. I agreed and they installed. They forgot to set up motion alerts during the installation. After a lot of back and forth, including pushback from their sole in-house engineer Eddie, IAV reluctantly sent their technician back to the property. He updated the settings to allow notification. Now I receive literally 300 notifications a day because a leaf on the corner of my property will wiggle in the breeze. We turned down the sensitivity to a 2 and I still get hundreds of notifications. See attached pics for a small window of time. The system cries wolf and is completely ineffective. I've asked Eric the CEO to send someone back to the house to fix the settings but he refuses saying I signed off on the installation and he's no longer responsible for it even though we're well within the 12 month warranty period. I've filed claims with the state licensing agency and Secretary of State. This is a sad situation but IAV just doesn't have the manpower or expertise to solve basic surveillance problems. I get the feeling they are spread really thin.

When I changed lanes to safely pass, the driver waved at me sarcastically as though I had done something wrong.
