#1.you said 1week to complete work you took 3weeks and I had to call you to get the status on it."0" communications. #2. You qouted 1 hr of labor (($75hr) you billed for 2hrs($150)big difference! My chief complaint was the gun doesn't cycle rounds, you put snap caps in it , ran them through and said "it works fine". That's good but I don't shoot snap caps. Action Gunsmithing chamfered the chamber and now it shoots like a dream for 1hr work @$50hr. So...I have no desire to deal with your company again. Thanks anyway. read more

Needed the rear sight fixed on my 1911 he handled it the same day and at great prices. Very good work super professional and friendly. Definitely would recommend if you need anything done to your weapons will definitely be coming back for all my weapons when they need work. read more

Had Rod at Colonel Lou's Guns mod my PSA GF4 AK47 with the full ATI Strikeforce kit. His work is immaculate and I am more than pleased with his work and my moded out AK. He took the time to sand down polymer to get everything just right. And his hourly charge is incredibly reasonable for the level of work Rod does. At the counter there was only one employee. Quickly there was a huge line and she was very busy. She listened, she was patient, informative and eagerly took care of everyone. The facility itself is not new yet at the same time is simply fine. You pay, you go outside drive to your range lane, you set up and shoot. The range staff visibly comes by every so often to ensure everything is being handled with care and to ensure everyone has the range badge. Yes, this range is all outdoors. You share the range with others. With proper communication everything runs smoothly. If you are here to improve your game and every so many shots you have to check your card yo have to walk and check yourself, while everyone waits but not a bad deal at all. Affordable and comfortable.

I recently did my first rifle build and let's just say I messed up, after I exhausted my limited experience and knowledge on rifles I decided to just get someone who knew what they were doing and I'm glad it was Rod with Colonel Lou's Guns. He was one of two gunsmiths I asked for help from and within the hour Rod has responded to me and the other place read my message and did nothing with it.
