I wish there was a 4.5 star…read more They were absolutely amazing here. We unfortunately had a death in the family on Thanksgiving Day. They were available right away and were so helpful and nice- we had the service this past Sunday. They prayed with the family before the service started and asked all guest to stand as we entered. They also made sure we were comfortable when it was time for the repast to begin. There were only a couple things that are a little on the negative side I want to mention...they informed us that they would provide the water which was not 100% the case. When we showed up with all our cases of soda there was no water, an employee overheard me ask for some and placed 2 small pitchers on the table with only 20+ cups. That I can remember no one stayed on top of it to make sure it stayed full- thank goodness we brought our own cups for"just in case moments" The last thing I want to mention is that they did not let the family exit the chapel first, and seat themselves at a table to eat. Once we arrived friends were already in line for food and family members were standing. Other funerals I have attended the family is seated and served first. Thankfully there was plenty of food, that just seemed a bit odd. Other than those 2 hiccups they took great care of us THANK YOU

I came here for my great uncle's funeral for viewing and burial. I like how it is clean and open it…read moreis very big and spacious the room to eat is nice. I also think toilets the flushing need to be fix even if you said hold and push down once it did it goes down but 2nd time trying it would not go flush. The bathrooms are nice. I don't know the value. about. It is quiet. I did not happen to ask for any help there sine i ask my relatives that was doing the things there for where their things are. The cemetery is nice and big but what a snake road soooo long you drive thru like a long snake road. It was my first time here so place is pretty big. There was no service at all no mention of telling other cars to line up in the back telling one car but not others.

Wow, I'm actually writing a review on a funeral home. Losing a loved one is extremely difficult,…read moreand the entire process can be overwhelming. We sought the services of Woodlawn last year when my Aunt passed away, and Liana made the process go smoothly as possible. I couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. Now here we are again, needing their services again, as my grandmother passed away on April 8th. With the issue of COVID-19, things were a little different. We had the pleasure of working with Liana again, and she arranged for a private viewing of my grandmother, where we could view her in groups of 10. We were not able to have a traditional funeral, therefore, a private gravesite funeral was arranged to host my grandmother's Home Going celebration, and it was just as beautiful, just like she was. The grounds of where your loved one will be laid to rest, are simply gorgeous. I hope this review will give someone reassurance that your family will be well taken care of. So with that being said, losing a loved one is never easy, but Woodlawn will make your experience as seamless as possible.

When someone is handling the final services for your friend or loved one, you want to make sure…read morethat the small details have been considered. I attended this location for the home-going services of a family friend. When driving, you must slow down or you'll miss the exit. There is plenty of parking, staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. Each pew had a box of tissues for mourners and the person selected to speak did a phenomenal job. They have a television on the left and right side of the room to allow for viewing of photos that were in a montage of the deceased. Everything was tasteful and timely. Not that I'm looking to give them any business anytime soon; but I do think they are affordable, professional and able to anticipate the needs of a grieving family without price gouging.

This place isn't the fanciest of funeral homes but I want to say that they took very good care of…read moremy son. We arranged to have a private viewing of our beloved son. When we saw our son at the funeral home he looked like a perfect little boy sleeping. They did his makeup very naturally which is what I really appreciated. The makeup wasn't caked on and it actually made him look more alive than he did at the hospital. Not only that but they dressed him and put him in a swaddle accompanied with a teddy bear. Together my baby boy and the teddy bear looked so cute and I'm so glad they provided that to him because I felt a sense of relief that he wasn't alone. Sometimes it's the little details that matter. My son was beautiful and I want to thank Sheri Mathis for taking care of our son so so well.
