This restaurant was chosen by our work colleagues because tapas are meant to make for a quick and cheap lunch.
Menus: the waitress provided us with three different menus: 1) £10 for all you can eat, 2) a large parties menu 12.75-21.75 and 3) a regular menu with complete selection. After the group reviewed the menus, the waitress said it would get too complicated and confusing in the kitchen and so took away menus 1 and 3. Menu 2 was limited and expensive, so we had to push for menu 1.
Service: the manageress and waitress brought out 75% of the food and drink that was ordered, claiming that it was on the way, even when the final bill was being processed.
Ambience: apart from our group, the restaurant was empty. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, which made guests feel uncomfortable.
Total Bill: The waitress had added a few drink items to the bill that were never served. The manageress had also cheekily added a mandatory 10% gratuity reserved for groups of 8, when there were 7 of us eating at our table! When asked to remove the service charge, the manageress obliged.
