My experience with David has been highly unsatisfactory. During my initial visit, I was charged a…read more$150 diagnostic fee that failed to identify or resolve any issues, whereas a dealership like BMW charges the same $150 fee and provides an accurate identification of the problem. I was later advised that my serpentine belt did not need immediate replacement, only to require a new one three months later. Regarding my accident repairs, I was charged $1600 solely to reinstall the hood and bumper, replace the condenser, and add refrigerant, even though I had already removed these parts myself before David arrived to perform the work. This price was higher than a quote from professionals who guaranteed their work; David only lowered the price to match the professional's quote after I pushed back, but provided no guarantee for his labor. The resulting work was poor. My bumper is now hanging off because the hardware was not properly secured; David previously claimed he could fix a missing part issue instead of having me retrieve the component, yet the bumper remains improperly attached. Additionally, the fog light has fallen off, and a hole was shoddily cut into the bumper to accommodate the cameras. Furthermore, David installed a used wiper apparatus rather than the working one I provided. After the oil pan replacement, the under-covers were left loose and began dragging while I was driving on the freeway; David then told me to purchase a replacement cover on Amazon and have it installed while on the road, rather than taking responsibility for his failure to secure the original part. Throughout our interactions, David was consistently late and never arrived at the scheduled time. He also charged me extra for returning the following day to install a part I had to retrieve, claiming he did not have time to wait even though it would have been a short delay, and he even threatened to charge me if he did have to wait, despite his own chronic lateness. I am also currently dealing with an electrical issue where one headlight remains on unless manually turned off, which threatens to drain my battery. Worst experience of my life, my car looks like a piece of crap. As an addendum, I was also required to buy all the parts, which is fine, and all of the normal things you expect a mechanic to have and include in the price, like degreaser, etc. Not only do I buy them all, but he kept them all. My sister and I were cleaning out a flower bed and we found that he had thrown paper towels in it. Just inconsiderate.
