Another thing to note is that the line for the register can get pretty long, even on a random Tuesday in May, just be prepared. The deals are definitely the best part! On my last visit I snagged an awesome 5x7 rug for $30. I saw the same rug at other places for at least double the price - score! You can always find some cheap clothes and shoes; more often than not you'll find designer brands for really low prices. They may be from last years line but who cares! It was Mother's Day and the one thing my mama wanted to do was browse through her favorite store. You can enter from the parking lot facing Maple Ave. or you can venture through the mall to the internal entrance... whichever floats your boat. The space is roughly the same size as the older location and it has everything any true maxxinista wants when visiting the store. It's also pretty clean and the staff was nice and friendly in every department. I especially loved the new carts. I absolutely hate walking through stores like this with a crappy cart. During this trip I found a beautiful pot in the home and garden section as well as a lovely tie die summer dress. I'll need to hem the dress but I couldn't pass it up for twenty bucks. Both items were reasonably priced, winning! This TJ Maxx has a great selection of designer handbags, perfume and hair and body products, shoes, clothing (women, men, and children), luggage, kitchenware, stuff for your bathroom, etc. I would certainly recommend you visit this store. Not sure if it's a good one or bad one, but it IS one. In a small town with only two grocery stores, Walmart fills a really big need for this community. On top of providing a third place to get groceries, it also has everything else imaginable (for the most part). They have a garden section, an auto department, a pharmacy, heck they even have a "crafts" section with fabric. While I don't live in Zanesville anymore, I do visit often and a trip here from time to time is unavoidable. There is plenty of parking available, the staff is fairly friendly, and prices are the cheapest in town. Pro tip - Visit the locally owned spots before heading here, please at all costs. For example, I never get booze here because Winerack deserves it more.

I had a great customer service experience yesterday, 05/17/23, at this location. We had left some…read moreitems on hold to be picked up on Monday, I called and asked the store to extend their hold which they willingly did. I went on Wed (yesterday) to finally pick up the items and one of the items was missing. The description I had was extremely generic and I had a general idea from where it was originally picked up. Amber (one of the staff members), was soo nice in trying to help me sift through the clearance section to try to find it. Upon my request, she even went in the back to see if it was still on hold (the other person could've missed it) .. and she found it!!! She said it was fallen on a different shelf. The item wasn't even worth much, but it was the effort and true customer service that I was impressed with!!! There was no frustration on anyone's face or in their voice. With stores continuing to be understaffed and work load continuing to increase, I'm impressed that kohls is able to maintain professionalism in dealing with their customers and a special shout-out to Amber who was willing to go on a wild goose hunt to find one item for me!! After 7 hours and numerous times checking in the new clerk said I never checked in. I asked to speak with general Manager. And let me tell you. They are so charming. I will be making a complaint to corporate in the morning. I personally would fire them both. The question at the top says. What could we improve. Start with Management. Yes. I charged detention pay. Be aware drivers. And be safe. They will lie to your face.
