Some one hit me. Got to fix it. Hello insurance company. Being to two other repair shops recommended to me by my car insurance I found my consultations was very lacking. I'm not a mechanic and I felt I knew more than my estimator. I asked about the wheel... "it looks good." Not my level or Caliber. It seems they also possess very mediocre to low ratings. This is my work vehicle, 2013 with 220k on the ODO and gives me 48mpg. A thoroughbred. So I decided to look on my own for another repair shop. Color by Woz was my fourth look at. Erik received me and gave me a real expectation. "We have a long waiting list" is what he kept telling me. Almost like he was pushing me away. But he shoved two fingers behind my wheel well and said "did you know you control arm is most likely bent?". I blinked and my heart jumped. You are the guys! I then asked why the wait is so long. 4 pages of customers waiting at that time. I said why, and it was like music. Past customers want us to do the repairs. I understood the mission. How long....? It was worth it. It doesn't matter the wait when something needs to be done right. FYI once they had the vehicle it was less than 10 days. Great Job just the car looks and feels right. A++ my Honda was fixed from an accident I was in and I had nothing but great service with them.

I had my truck repaired last year after a lady crashed into the side. The truck looks brand new after Color by Woz fixed it. I am so happy. I'm very picky! This is the only place you can trust to do an excellent job. The damage is completely undetectable. read more

I was recommended to bring my car due to a car accident. I have AAA and was recommended to a collision place close to my house. But was highly recommended by two extremely satisfied customers. Eric called to tell me my estimate was ready & was just waiting on AAA. So finally when AAA got back to Eric he called me to sign. So I called Eric to talk to and he already ordered the parts that were needed and the staff was already working on it. Eric & his secretary did call on the status of my car. Even when I had an emergency to go out of state, I had called on the status due to I didn't want to have my car ready and I couldn't pick it up. I got it back today. I'm so happy. My car was hit (1997 Miata) and Color by Woz was highly recommended to me by a friend. Everyone who I talked to at the business was extremely friendly, I primarily talked to Eric. The door was reskinned and repainted and they even blended the paint into the fender for me although my insurance refused to pay for it BUT Color by Woz knew it would not look correct if not done so they did it anyway. I am continuing to find extra nice things I didn't even know they did when I first picked the car up. They fully polished my entire car and even cleaned the windows. They even replaced not only a bulb that was out but the other bulb to match it ! I am very grateful for this shop and the way they treated me overall and I cannot say enough nice things about them. Tired of having the dealership tell me that, with an interior tab missing, the only thing they could do about my hanging bumper was to push it back in every time I go for service. My car's front bumper got pulled off after a parking block latched onto the bottom of it. It was hanging on by a thread, and I needed to get it fixed fast. The shop was able to take in my car within an hour, and returned it to brand new in 30 minutes. Staff is very professional and friendly, and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs auto body work done. read more

Great place to take my car! Eric was very friendly and informative. He made the entire process so easy especially since it was a repair through my car insurance, sometimes that process can be a headache. It only took a few days and my car looks awesome!!! Moving back to Riverside I reconnected with some old friends who may just be a little bit of a bad influence. Well after some heavy partying I managed to damage both the rear end and front end of my Corvette. I don't exactly remember how I decided on Color by Woz but I'm so glad I did. They did a tremendous job on the Vette, so great that since I have taken a black 350Z, my wife's Cube and my white Porsche. These guys are great. They are the 'real deal'.... good people who built a solid reputable business the right way- by doing the best quality work at a fair price, which equals happy customers that spread the word. My car was hit by a driver who didn't stay in his lane. It was t-boned and there was extensive damage on the passenger side of the car. Lucky no one was hurt. My 5th wheel fell on my truck bed leaving it driveable but the tail end was squashed. I read the reviews on Color by Woz and took my truck to them for repairs. I also had a small dent in the front fender taken care of Wow, did they do a nice job! The color match was impecable and the repair work brought the truck back to new. I had a problem with the bumper of my Civic and took it in to get it looked over at the recommendation of a friend. I dealt with Eric who gave me a quote that seemed too low to be true. But seeing as how it was half the cost of a previous quote I was given I devided to go ahead and have it done. After finishing in way less time than I expected, I was amazed at how it looked even better than I had imagined it would; not to mention the final cost was exactly as quoted! Besides overdelivering on quality, speed and charging quite a bit less than another shop's estimate, the best part of the experience was how nice and patient Eric was. He took the time to understand my needs and expectations and his knowledge was very evident from the start. Lots of people are wary when it comes to auto body shops fearing they will get ripped off. Let me tell you that from my experience you will be treated well and get service and quality that is second to none here. I just had a little paint job done on a part for my car and I received very good service. They even offered to do little touch ups around the car using the paint they had prepared. It was a little job but I was still treated like a respected paying customer (another place wouldn't even consider the work; it was too small of a job for them). My insurance was sending me somewhere else that was going to take weeks before I could even drop off my car. I Yelped this business and based on the reviews, I called and spoke with Eric. He basically worked backwards for me and called my insurance for authorization, organized my Hertz rental car, and took my car within days. The job was completed within a week. My truck was rear ended and the work performed was well done, however, the shop damaged the front end of my truck, which is opposite of the repair area, and the tried to cover it up with touch up paint without my consent. They claimed to touch up all scratches as a courtesy, however, the only area touched up was the area they damaged, nothing else - and there are various paint flaws that I am aware of. Personally, I hate touch up paint. They refused to repair the damage. They wouldn't even work with me to maybe cover half. Will not do business with them again as they were rude about the entire situation. read more

I give this place a 5 star rating. They did an excellent job on my rear bumper, washed, waxed, vaccuumed, & even cleaned up the gunk on my front headlights! My car looks "brand new!!" On top of that, they went their way out for me to get me in on Saturday despite the "main boss" being out of town at the time. Last but not least, they have excellent customer service! I took my car to Color by Woz to fix my bumper. They were able to assess my car the same day that I called them. They were very helpful with faxing the estimate to the insurance to help get the repair authorized. When I got my car back, it was as good as new & they even washed my car & cleaned the inside, too. I have been using Color by Woz since 1997. I had bought a 1997 Chevy Silverado and within weeks the truck was rear-ended by a hit and run driver, completely demolishing my truck bed. My previous employer used Color by Woz at the time and I remember 2 vans of ours were painted white, one by Woz and one by another local body shop. Within a year the other van had yellowed badly, while the Woz painted van was still pure white. When it came to my truck, the insurance company wanted to bondo my brand new truck, but Eric battled with the insurance company and got them to replace my whole bed with a new one. That same truck was rear ended again and again I took it to Color by Woz and again they did a fabulous job. They custom painted my Jet Ski black and put cool KISS graphics on it, and after 8 years in the burning hot river sunshine, that jet ski is still shiny black and my graphics look good as new. My Toyota Camry just got rear ended recently and again, I took it to Color by Woz. If you want a quick, cheap job, go elsewhere, but if you want quality workmanship, where no corners are cut, take your vehicle to Color by Woz. You will not be disappointed. I have been going to them for almost 20 years and I will continue to go to them for all my painting needs. read more
