Me, daughter and granddaughter had a fun time painting our ceramic pieces at Color Me Mine. It's not that big of a place. We went on a Saturday and they were turning away walk ins. Be sure to make reservations. There were a lot of pieces to choose from. Staff gives some brief instructions and fills up your paint containers with colors you choose. Then settle in and enjoy your painting time. You leave the finished pieces with them to bake and about two weeks later they call you when it's ready for pick up. Granddaughter's star shaped container turned out the best, though daughter's cute little sculpture thing that could be used as a ring holder turned out pretty cute too! Mine is the little blue vase (I'm the least artistic of us). For the three pieces we chose, the total came to about $137. It seems a little pricey, but was worth the experience.

I'm not usually one to write negative reviews because I love Color Me Mine and have had great experiences at other locations, but this location was disappointing. I visited with my mom and aunt, and the staff were kind and helpful during our visit. The issue started with picking up our pieces--I received an email saying they were ready, but one was missing. Despite repeated follow-ups, I had to keep calling for updates, and no one ever reached out as promised. I wouldn't recommend this location; other Color Me Mine locations are much more reliable. I'm giving 2 stars because the visit itself was fun, but the lack of communication afterward was frustrating.

We came here for our daughter's birthday and Lissette made our experience so special from my husband calling to set it up and welcoming us when we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed and was so kind and accommodating since we had a lot of young kids with us. She went above and beyond to make our experience special. Such a fun activity especially for a celebration or the holidays.

Came in for color me mine evening event where it's BYOB. Overall super fun, great date activity, and staff was very friendly. Writing a review for Claire, she went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Always checked in with us and made asking for paint so easy. My gf didn't finish and so we came back today to finish up and while i was waiting outside with our dog, claire saw my dog was thristy and came out with a dog bowl with water! Claire is dope!

Wonderful experience today at this Color Me Mine. Walked in about 1 p.m. and there was just a family of four there. Found a window seat perfect for one, with natural light. I was looking for a piece to paint/glaze for a friend. Found a three-bowl piece (attached to serve sauces or fruit or nuts) and chose my colors/theme. The staff were very helpful and kind. I was so happy they were playing oldies like Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong in the background. I spent almost 3 hours there and different groups came and went, several to pick up their fired pieces. It takes about two weeks right now. I thought the pieces were a bit expensive but since it includes the glaze painting time and supplies (plus $9 per person charge), overall it was worth it, I think.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this location. We made a reservation about two weeks prior for a table of five. We arrive on Saturday at 12 noon. We were seated immediately at our table. We picked out our items and we began to paint. It was such a lovely experience. The two ladies working on Saturday, March 8 the 12 noon were excellent. They answered all of our questions, they explained everything clearly, they checked on us consistently and they offered us more paint when needed. I would definitely recommend this location and to anyone looking to paint and chill. I look forward to returning in the future. Average cost to paint = $40 ($8 Studio Fee + Pottery Item).

I came a few weekends ago with a friend and we both had a good experience! Service was attentive and kind. After two weeks, I was contacted to pick up our items once they were finished with the glazing process. The products looked better than expected so we were satisfied with the outcome :)

Came here with a party of 8. Service was very friendly and amazing! Definitely reccomend this place for a date or for group settings. You basically pay a studio fee, a fee for your own item, and then get to paint as you please. Very fun activity! It will take about 14 days for you to receive your glazed item.

I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

It is five dollars per person to book a table either inside or outside. $15 we used to reserve the table went towards our final order. the ladies that All helped us were absolutely fantastic! They were so sweet to my daughter and very helpful about giving advice on how to paint our pieces. It is definitely a little pricey for the experience. It is $10 per child and $12 per adult for the supplies and then of course the cost of whatever you choose to paint. We ended up spending about $85 for two pieces. my daughter absolutely loved the experience and really it was very fun for our little family. I definitely recommend to give this place a shot if you're into painting and especially if you have Littles, who are very creative.

For the latest updates on events, follow their instagram @colormeminecovina! They have so many special events that cater to various interests and groups and ages and truly anyone can enjoy here. I came back for my 5th time on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we had the best time. We chose the 6:30p-8:30p slot, and paid $50 for the special event table reservation (included a couples caricature). I know they had a later Valentine's reservation slot from 9-11pm and those couples got a little heart shaped trinket tray as part of their $50 fee. The table reservation cost does NOT include the price of the pottery you choose. They have a wide selection of pottery pieces you can choose from at varying price points so everyone can find something they will love to paint during the time. They had a new astrology jar with a lid that i've never seen before and instantly fell in love. My partner needed a bit more time to choose a piece, and decided on a dragon wrapped around a tower that will include a tea light for later to light up the tower (super cool). The two pieces were less than $100 total ($36 for the jar and $54? for the tower dragon) which is around the price I was expecting to pay. Note that my boyfriend and I showed up at 6:15 to look at the pottery early and we were thankful we did because it gave us extra time to paint without feeling a super tight time crunch. The staff was super sweet and attentive and remembered me from past times I've been there, which makes me feel more comfortable and happy there. They were checking tables frequently and making sure paint was always available and refilled for our use. They also gave us time checks to let us know how much time we had left which was appreciated. It is important to remember that 1 coat will leave a lighter finish while 3 coats will create a more opaque finish. They had a card on the table that said more than 3 coats of paint can warp your piece during the drying process or even cause an explosion due to trapped air between paint layers so do be aware! You also have to leave your pottery for up to a week so it can fully dry and bake in the kiln so the glaze hardens and becomes all shiny and beautiful. I have been happy with every piece I have made at Color Me Mine Covina and I will definitely keep recommending it to those around me because it really is that fun and enjoyable of an experience.

You pick any type of pottery that is pretty much a blank canvas. After that, you select which stencil you would like to put on. Then you paint on it. It's actually pretty relaxing and quite fun to do! Also, I think making a plate is useful since you get to use it daily! Since the night was Hello Kitty it was filled with a large selection of the Sanrio characters plus some of them wearing the Dodger hat. I picked a heart plate to decorate. You can pick whichever colors you want and then make it your own. You won't get the plate right away it will take a little while but I can't wait to see how it turns out!
