Great place to come as a group and enjoy a bonding activity! My work organized coming here as a group for team building and get to know each other. Almost everyone chose to do one with a couple exceptions. Even if you didn't do one you were able to seat with the group and interact. They have a vast variety of options and definitely something for every person to enjoy! The prices vary by the sizes of the items chosen and once you choose something, you select your colors. They have a guide to show how the will look after cured since the colors don't look the same as when you are applying it. They were only out of 1 color which wasn't a big deal. You get to choose up to 5 colors but since we were a big group some shared an extra color or two with others. We had about 2 hrs to work on it and once we were done we left them. About 1 week later the organizer brought the finished products into the office. This is a fun and unique experience for those who don't mind getting a bit dirty. I paid the non-refundable $200 fee for a birthday party expecting a designated party experience, but unfortunately it was extremely underwhelming and did not justify the additional cost. The "party space" was cluttered with inventory, drying racks, paper rolls, and painting supplies, making it feel more like overflow workspace than a reserved party area. The party table itself was barely separated from the rest of the store setup, which made the experience feel no different than simply walking in and paying the regular studio fee. We only had five painters, and honestly we could have paid the standard studio fees ($50) and received essentially the exact same experience. The only noticeable difference the extra cost provided was a chalkboard sign with a very sweet handwritten note to the birthday girl. I do want to emphasize that the two young women working were extremely kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best. My disappointment is not with the staff, but with the facility setup and the value of what is being marketed as a "party package." At the current price point, the space and accommodations simply do not justify the significant upcharge for what was provided. read more

Located in a very busy plaza, the parking here can be from the right to the left or even in the back of the store. It's right in the center of the plaza/street of the outdoor mall near the Barnes and Nobles. Good luck doing a walk in. Although they advertise walk ins, it's not true; you'll have to wait several hours if you're walking in. Your best bet is to have a reservation first. Secondly, they have a very limited amount of items. I couldn't find a plain bowl or a normal shaped plate. They only had silly things in shapes if lemons or hearts. I had to settle on a cup. The last tip of the iceberg is service. I think they need to hire different girls, because all three of them were not nice nor know customer service. They don't greet. They stare until I stated what I wanted. When we started our painting, she didn't get us paint or refill. We weren't debriefed on what to do. Luckily I've been to different Color Me Mine before, so I knew the gist of what to do. Yet, the service here is very much lacking. I don't intend to come here again. The staff was incredibly rude during our visit. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 3-year anniversary, and while we were there for about two hours, a staff member came up to our table twice asking if we needed anything. Eventually, we just got up and refilled our own colors. That part honestly wasn't the issue--I didn't mind getting them myself. The real problem was how we were treated because there was a party arriving at 5:00 p.m. We arrived at 2:30 p.m. as walk-ins, and every time another walk-in came in, the staff would loudly say that seating "depended on whether the current parties finished early." This happened at least 10 times, and each time it seemed to get louder and felt more and more directed toward us, making us feel like we were being pressured to leave. To make matters worse, when we went to pay, the employee at the front stared directly at the highest tip option on the payment screen, which made an already uncomfortable experience even more awkward. We spent over $100 on what was supposed to be a special anniversary outing, but instead we left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Me, daughter and granddaughter had a fun time painting our ceramic pieces at Color Me Mine. It's not that big of a place. We went on a Saturday and they were turning away walk ins. Be sure to make reservations. There were a lot of pieces to choose from. Staff gives some brief instructions and fills up your paint containers with colors you choose. Then settle in and enjoy your painting time. You leave the finished pieces with them to bake and about two weeks later they call you when it's ready for pick up. Granddaughter's star shaped container turned out the best, though daughter's cute little sculpture thing that could be used as a ring holder turned out pretty cute too! Mine is the little blue vase (I'm the least artistic of us). For the three pieces we chose, the total came to about $137. It seems a little pricey, but was worth the experience. read more

I'm not usually one to write negative reviews because I love Color Me Mine and have had great experiences at other locations, but this location was disappointing. I visited with my mom and aunt, and the staff were kind and helpful during our visit. The issue started with picking up our pieces--I received an email saying they were ready, but one was missing. Despite repeated follow-ups, I had to keep calling for updates, and no one ever reached out as promised. I wouldn't recommend this location; other Color Me Mine locations are much more reliable. I'm giving 2 stars because the visit itself was fun, but the lack of communication afterward was frustrating. read more

A few days before Easter and a limited selection of spring related Items. Additionally, the selection of bowls, plates and mugs was non existent unless you wanted Thanksgiving, or Valentine's day! Came here for the Adult's Night Out Paint and Sip with my friends. It was very fun and had a good atmosphere. Plenty of paint and advice was given to us. Wonderful experience today at this Color Me Mine. Walked in about 1 p.m. and there was just a family of four there. Found a window seat perfect for one, with natural light. I was looking for a piece to paint/glaze for a friend. Found a three-bowl piece (attached to serve sauces or fruit or nuts) and chose my colors/theme. The staff were very helpful and kind. I was so happy they were playing oldies like Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong in the background. I spent almost 3 hours there and different groups came and went, several to pick up their fired pieces. It takes about two weeks right now. I thought the pieces were a bit expensive but since it includes the glaze painting time and supplies (plus $9 per person charge), overall it was worth it, I think. read more

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this location. We made a reservation about two weeks prior for a table of five. We arrive on Saturday at 12 noon. We were seated immediately at our table. We picked out our items and we began to paint. It was such a lovely experience. The two ladies working on Saturday, March 8 the 12 noon were excellent. They answered all of our questions, they explained everything clearly, they checked on us consistently and they offered us more paint when needed. We love supporting small businesses, and especially those that have fun & creative things for kids/families to do together. However, our experience here was very disappointing- hoping the manager will handle these concerns. We want businesses to be successful, but you have to deliver good service for ppls hard earned money. 2 stars because our girls had a good time. For starters- I called in to make reservations for about 6, maybe 8 painters (kids). I was told I HAD TO BOOK A PARTY . Then I said I'd book 2 reservations of 4 each. I was told that's not allowed and they'd separate us on purpose. So WAIT- you force ppl to book party event $$$ if they have more than 4-6 ppl? I know families with that many kids. Why wouldn't you allow them to make a reservation? So, I booked the party and paid quite a bit extra $$$, but not really given much more in return for the "party experience." And the add on a SERVICE charge to my several hundred dollar total. What was that for? - no attendant just for our group, we had to keep getting their attention - the "special party area" is the crammed , messy, space near the back near the sink & restroom - our girls didn't even have enough chairs, they had to bring out folding chairs - I was asked my daughter's name when I booked the reservation for the special sign; her name was not on the sign on the day of our event - receipt said items would be ready in 7-9 days; NOPE IT TOOK 21 days to get our things which left everyone disappointed. We walked in and thankfully they had open seats- we arrived a little after 6 & the closing time for painting was 7:30 but we ran a little over that & I believe her name was Claire (I'm bad at remembering names), helped us out- constantly making sure we had supplies & paints as needed & even gave us a few extra minutes to wrap up. It's Father's Day and they were not prepared in obtaining the supplies needed for the day. Disappointing. We get there and they make us wait an hour when there are tons of tables open. We come back. After 2 hours of painting, I go to pay for my items and the lady at the counter said the price was higher than marked. Color Me Mine: I really like this place. The name literally speaks for itself. You walk in and are immediately created by the friendly staff. They told us to choose out what we wanted to paint. I chose a unicorn & cup and my husband did a basket ball and helmet. You get to chose the colors you want to paint with. Prior to painting though you want to wipe your item off with water and a sponge. Be prepared to sit here for 2-3 hours painting. It takes about a week in order to get your items back. I wish the pricing per item was not as expensive but I also understand why. There is an $8 studio fee per person so be prepared. We get to get our items tomorrow and I am really excited! read more
