This was a very cool experience my wife and I did a short time back. They have all sorts of things you can paint on such as plates, cups, and other various things. I did a plate and a mug and my wife did a plate and an adorable little bunny. The staff was super helpful and the pieces seem to be high quality. Also the prices were very reasonable. I had so much fun during my trip to color me mine! My friend and I stopped by for a little "girls days out" and were treated with such great customer service! The studio was absolutely packed and there was a 2 hour wait so definitely factor that in if you're coming in on a weekend. The staff is friendly, attentive and walking around to get you whatever you need. There is something affordable for everyone to pick out to paint. I highly recommend checking this out for a fun, unique activity! They have a text or call option to let you know when your pieces are ready, and they are held for up to 6 weeks after completion for you to pick up according to the text I received. read more

What a wonderful experience! I had been here before for a kid's birthday but didn't really spend that much time enjoying the establishment for myself. Finally made it back for a Mom's Night Out with some friends and it was so awesome! They have so many different items that you can paint, it took almost 15 minutes for me to decide. The staff are all so helpful and they patiently explain everything step by step. There is such a great variety of tools for painting that it makes you want to explore your inner creativity. I would advise going with plenty of time, I was there for 2 hours and it was not enough for my tiny vase I was working on. They don't have a time limit as far as I know, but if you can't finish the piece they can pack it up for you to come back and finish at another time. We recently had our work "after" Christmas party. Every year we grovel over where to go and what to eat and what to wear and what time to be there. We usually wind up at a restaurant, which is all fine and dandy, but it's very hard to converse and just relax! This year we decided on something different. We had Color Me Mine come to our place of work after hours. We had food catered in and Color Me Mine painting on canvas. The instructor Ann was Amazing! What a sweet lady! If anyone can put up with a handful of nurses and other medical professionals it was her! She was very patient and very easy to follow. She made our party special! It was almost like a nice therapy session getting lost in art. Color Me Mine allows for a unique experience for companies like ours. We get to socialize, de-stress, and make something beautiful to look back on years later. I will totally recommend this for any organization looking for a team building experience or just a relaxing night of fun. read more

They broke my piece... after 3+ hours of hard meticulous work they broke it and gave it to me with an "oops" card. When I tried to go back to paint the piece that they broke (literally just the back of a book in black), they were going to make me purchase the whole piece again. ??? How can you be so careless? Do NOT take your kids here or you and they will ALL be extremely disappointed. read more

Went there this week and it has really gone down in service. Extremely overpriced and overall bad experience. Wasn't busy but staff was either on their phones or in another room. Felt like a high school setting where they just gossiped instead of helping patrons. Had to eventually start getting paint myself as no one seem to want to work. Will not be back. read more

Great for kids and Family time! The kids insisted we make a Father's Day gift versus buying one. I am not one for 'crafts' per se, but they make it easy to be creative. I was happy to see such a variety of ceramics to choose from, including a UK basketball! We 'painted' for 2 hours and the staff was super nice and accommodating, even to the demands of 3-4 year olds! We will definitely being going back for further projects for birthdays, grandparents, friends, and general gifts. There was even some inspiring painted inscriptions in the bathroom. when you walk in the room is round with tall shelves as tall as the ceiling lined with bare cermaic art waiting for you to choose! It smells of art class and wood lol The girls there are amazing and its cheap as well..$9 an adult and like $6 per child (the 9&6$ charge are for the firing, glaze, and painting in house), you go in and pick out a piece of art and take a seat and start painting, when youre finished you pay and in about a week pick it up! they have sculptures for the entire family! sports, cartoons, disney, huge salad bowls..the list goes on. When i went in there, there was a little girls 6th birthday party being held there, all the little girls were painting piggy banks! it was the cutest! read more

This was my first time painting ceramics since I was a child. Since I'm not very artistic I wasn't very excited about going but I'm so glad I did! I recommend calling to make sure they have room or reserving a space for larger groups. Once you have your table, pick which piece you want to paint on the shelves lining the walls. There are tons of things to choose from including almost any type of dish/serving item, figurines, home decor pieces and they even do canvas painting. I painted a tea cup and saucer and my friends & a child painted a coffee mug, two sided dog bowl and dog figurine. There are a variety of colors, brushes, stamps, cricket cutouts/stencils and you can lookup things online. The staff was helpful with explaining what order is best to do your colors/areas and what colors work on top of other colors. They also explain techniques such as helping color rims using a sponge, using the end of the brush for dots, using a marker to draw (which burns off later) and they will help you get a bubble effect on the inside of bowls/cups buy scooping bubbles you blow with water and paint into your piece. We spent almost three hours there and they didn't even mind. I can't wait to see my finished piece in about a weeks time! I will post pictures! Even if my tea cup isn't great the money was well spent just for the experience. With the price of my piece and a $9 fee mine was under $35. I definitely want to do this again! P.S. Cute place and everyone working has always been friendly. I think the "studio fee" is a little steep but they often have specials. There is a huge variety of items to choose from to paint and just as many different glazes. I wish they opened earlier---I had a tough time finding a time to get back there to pick up our fired pieces. Overall lots of fun for all ages! read more

Color Me Mine is a really fun time. They have something for everyone as far as pottery to choose from. The staff gets your colors for you and will also give suggestions on what looks good with what. They are also very knowledgeable about painting techniques. The only gripe I would have is that it's pricey. There is a fee to paint per person and then you pay for each pottery piece as well, which is not cheap at all. read more
