I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

This is such a cute place for a date night or family outing. We decided to go here because the traditional gift to give for 9 years anniversary is pottery, and what better place to go than Color Me Mine? (: There are a LOT of ceramics to choose from so you can truly get creative and personal with your selection. There are many options including piggy banks, plates, bowls, dishes, mugs, etc. You have to pay $10 painting fee per painter in addition to the price of your selected ceramic. Our grand total was about $74, which seems pricey, but it was worth it because we had a great time, and we were able to make customized gifts for one another. The girls there were really friendly, and one girl in particular who helped us was SO SWEET! I wish I got her name. She was so accommodating and friendly towards our two little boys. We didn't pay to have the boys paint a ceramic piece because they're too young. However, she gave them some paint and coloring sheets so they wouldn't be bored. That was incredibly helpful because it allowed my husband and I to concentrate a bit better. We stayed there for about 1.5 hours and they kept checking back on us and getting us paint. We asked for a lot of paint, and they never seemed annoyed or rushed us. They also gave a lot of good tips and advice! Thank you, ladies, for a fun night! They cleared out "the party room" and gave us our own space. Also, it's BYOB and Specs is 3 doors down.. so we got a few beverages before beginning. The owner of this establishment, Lottie, is a former teacher and she really enjoys taking the time to help you pick the right colors and learn the techniques and understand the process. As a group we decided to draw names out of a hat and paint a mug for the name we drew. Good times. Each piece was under $20 and we were there for 3 hours painting. Honestly, it's one of the more inexpensive excursions a group of adults can do and being able to take something hand painted home from the day is a beautiful reminder of a moment of time. We never felt rushed to leave and any questions we had were answered immediately and in a way we could understand. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

You simply pick the pottery you want to paint, and the price is listed on the bottom of each piece, which makes it easy to choose. We spent about two hours painting and had a lot of fun with it. After you're finished, they keep the piece for about three days so it can be fired and cured in the kiln. Overall, it was a really fun and relaxing experience.

********FAST SERVICE**********…read more I placed an order online for store pickup because I noticed an email with a coupon for a discount. I decided to make an online order and pickup in store. After placing my order. I noticed how close I was to this location and decided to stop in before my order was ready for pickup. I was greeted by Joann the front store attendant. She was so polite, kind, happy and ready to assist in anyone possible. I explained about placing an order online and requesting to pickup before it was ready. I even offered to go on the shelves myself and fetch the items. The moral of the coupon was in order to redeem the order needed to be placed online for delivery or pickup in store. JOANN notified me she would contact manager and see what is the best plan to assist me. Now let me digress for one moment. I noticed an African AMerican lady working diligently in the store, picking flowers, organizing store, answering phone and fulfilling orders. I was impressed with her resilience ; however, I was thinking she has to be EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH. Unbeknownst to me she was the manager I was waiting on to fulfill my order. She politely asked some questions and assisted me immediately. I had already shopped for the items, she apologized for not hearing the device chime to notify of a new order. I was not in a hurry and politely told her I was more impressed with her working skills than worrying about my products. MRS DONNA was the best with whom I have ever encountered at this location. The store was clean, quiet, calm and friendly. No matter who walked in the door they were both eager to help and provide assistance.
